Cool. It takes a while, but I feel it's worth playing an 82 game season to the end at least once. :)

6 - 4 Phoenix Suns @ 7 - 9 Portland Trail Blazers

This game was set to go off, with D - Miles making a return to his last home and that was what happened.

Interview with Amare Stoudemire

Press -"Another win for the Suns tonight, you have been playing stellar ball as a team lately, is it mainly because of the trade??"

Amare - "Yeah i think it is, Baron is such a clutch player now, last season he was good but this year he is unstopable, also Darius had played a lot better than the team expected, he is really doing his job well"

Press - "So the trade has taken a lot of pressure off you??"

Amare - "Yeah deffinately, also Eddy has been beginging to start to get inot his flow, which is helping a lot"

Press - "Thanks for that Amare, catch you later"

The Suns cam into this game looking for an easy win, and that was what they got until the final 5 mins, where utah struck bak and managed to tie it all with 5 seoncds to go, Baron who had been cold all night tried to answer with a 3, but missed sending it inot overtime, where the Suns took control and won it.

Baron -"I didnt really deserve the All Star Game MVP, i was jst hitting my 3's 4 once, but playing in this team is great, there are a lot of potential leaders here, so i don't have to be on the top of my game all the time, it gives me a chance to sit ack and decide where i am most needed"

Press -" Well we hope that you can lead this team to the promised land"

Baron -"Me too"

Phoenix Press

8 - 4 Phoenix Suns @ 10 - 5 Indiana Pacers

This match up had been hyped up since the all star game, where Amare was the onyl big man on the West capable of handling Jermaine O'Neal. But that match - up porvided hardly any excitement at all, the gmae was very slow for the majority, and Indiana never were really in it, somtime down by as much as 28. It was the Phoenix bench who mad ethe difference scoring 35 points. And Rookie Harvey Preacher had a strong Double Double (the first of his career).

Suns Really are Stars!!

Today saw the 8-12 Chicago Bulls make the trip over to Phoenix to play the Red Hot Phoenix Suns.

This game saw Joe Johnson and Howard Eisley make a return to Phoenix, but more impoertantly for the Suns, Eddy Curry and Jamal Crawford would be playing agaisnt their old team, the Suns needed to see how they would play under this pressure.

At the start of the game things weren't looking up for the Suns, Hinrich was dominating B-Diddy and the bulls had shot out to 10 - 2 lead in only the first 4 minutes.

So Coach D'Antoni called a time out, pulled out Baron and put Jamal in to handle Hinrich. This decision really padi off as Crawford racked up 4 assists in the next 3 minutes, feeding the ball to Amare or slashing to the hoop and dishing to flip.

After a few minutes rest Baron was put back into the game at the other guard to match up with Bulls rookie Rasheed Barros, B-Diddy got back in his flow and managed to own Barros, finishing the quarter with 8 points 4 rebounds and 4assists. The score was 33 - 21 in favour of the Suns.

The second saw the Suns begin to pull away, with some strong ball from Amare and Eddy Curry, Hinrich was silent in this quarter with Jerome Williams having 8 points for the Bulls. by the end of the second the Suns had stretched the lead to 20 points. Amare finished the Half with 18 points and 11 rebounds

The third saw the suns Starters play some solid defense, holding the bulls to 15 points.

The fourth quarter was uneventful with the bulls making a few late runs that never became anything. The Suns out rebounded the Bulls 43 - 20

Final Score: 107-89

POG Amare Stoudemire 28points (12/17) 17rebounds 2steals 4assists

Player Stats

Tyson Chandler 16p 5rebs 3blk
Antonio Davis 10p 6rebs
Kirk Hinrich 17p 3stl 6ast
Joe Johnson 6p 2stl 2ast

Interview with Eddy Curry

Press -"Your first game with your old team, these game are always hard, but you didnt play too bad at all"

Curry -"Yeah i didnt play bad, but it was only an average game, i guess i got put off a bit by playing agaisnt my old team mates, at least the game wasn't in Chicago"

Press -"You must be pleased with the way your team has been playing though, since the trade for Baron Davis you have been unbeaten"

Curry -"Yeah im really loving playing with this team, not only because we are winning but also because its just really fun bball, we all share the ball and Amare and Baron only really take over in the crunch, and if they can't do it one or two of us will always be able to step up"

Press -"Well thanks for that Eddy, we look foward to seeing you in the Finals"

Curry -"Yeah i cant wait!!"

3point Record Smashed in Phoenix!!

11-4 Detroit Pistons @ 10-4 Phoenix Suns

Today saw a match-up that would either see the Pistons 7 game winning streak ended and the Suns streak extended to 7 or the Pistons streak go to 8 and the Suns end at 6.

The game started out fast with the Suns up 34 - 23 at the end of the first, Baron Davis had 21 points.

The second quarter was uneventful as was the third with the lead stretching to 20.

The Fourth saw a minor comeback from Detroit but nothing came of it.

Final Score: 131 - 106 Sun Victory

Ben Wallace was Dominated by Amare Stoudemire all night, Amare racked up 28 points 22 rebounds and 10 assists, while Big Ben only had 12 points and 6 rebounds.

But Amare's Performace was overshadowed but Baron Davis.

Davis was on fire from the feild hitting 24/39 feild goals, but what made this performance even more better was that he was 18/26 from downtown, smashing the 3pt record of 12 set by Kobe in the 2002-2003 season.

Davis ended up POG with 69 points 8 rebounds and 7 assists

Player Stats

Crawford 5p 3ast
Curry 9p 3rebs 2ast
Korver 3p 3rebs
Miles 3p 5rebs 4ast
Murray 9p 2rebs

Billups 21p 2rebs 9ast
Hamilton 18p 5rebs 3blks
Prince 17p 3rebs 4ast
Rasheed 18p 8rebs 5ast

Interview with Baron Davis

Press -"Tonight a stellar game for you"

Baron -"Yeah i was just feeling ti form the 3 point line, im actually a bit dissapointed i missed 8 of them, but i knew that the next few would fall each time i missed so i just kept putting them up"

Press -"You must have an amazing game to be able to overshadow a 28, 22, 10 performance by Amare"

Baron -"Yeah i think Amare actually really needed POG tonight, he was the one giving me a lot of my shots. Amare is the future of this franchise, hes only in his third year and he is already, in my eyes, one of the top 3 power fowards in the NBA if not the best, imagine what he is gonna be like in 5 years"

Press -"Yeah we agree totaly"

WOW! B-Diddy numbers we're ok, but Amare's was amazing. I know 18 3's is alot, but 28,22 and 10 are big time numbers. I love Amare's game.
Your team is really coming together now.

8 Games now, only just though.

10-4 Phoenix Suns @ 10-10 Golden State Warriors

This game almost saw the end of the Sun 7 game winning streak.

The first quarter saw the Suns take a commanding lead, but then from the start of the second quarter the game was all Warriors.

The Suns couldnt hit a single shot, while GS was hitting everything. During the start of the 4th quarter Baron Davis went down with an elbow injury, he was out for the game. This was really the turning point, as the rising star Amare Stoudemire took over the game and mamanged to help the Suns pull out a major come back win.

Final 118-113 Suns Win

POG Amare Stoudemire 36 points 17 rebounds 4 steals 2 blocks 4 assists

Interview with Phoenix GM Match_66

Press -"It was a hard loss of Baron tonight, btu Amare managed to pick tings up, hwo will the team cope if Baron is out for much longer?"

Match -"Yeah my heart sank when Baron went down, but Amare showed why he is becoming one of the best players in the NBA, he was unstopable in the 4th, i guess the injury could have worked out for us, since the team has to learn hwo to adapt when one of the main guys goes down"

Press -"Any idea how long Baron is gonna be out?"

Match -"No the results from the MRI arent back yet, but he will be evalutaed before the next game, we will only bring him back once he is 100%, since its not worth risking it when we have a comfortabel record"

Press -"Yes, you are one of the top teams in the league now, 3rd in the West although you have a better record than Utah, do you think you will come out on top of the West??"

Match -"Well its a hard call to make, we have to hope that Sacremento loses some games along the road since they are 16 - 2, but i dont really think it will matter too mcuh once the playoff's start, all teams are in with an equal chance in my eyes, altho the hardest game will probably be the West finals"

Press -"Thanks for that Match, we hope Baron comes back soon"

Match -"Yeap me too"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry about the bad psot, i was playing this game when my mates were turning up to go out, so i didnt really record anything

Suns Go Down!! 8 Game Winning Streak Ended!!

Today saw the 11-4 Phoenix Suns take on the 6-12 Rockets in Houston.

The game started out good for the Suns, dominating the ROkects all over the court. The Suns managed to build a 9 point lead going into the second.

As soon as Houston came back onto the court, it was obviuos things had changed, they had the look of a team ready to knock a higher ranked team of it perch. And thats exactly wwhat happened, holding Phoenix to only 9 points for the quarter, the Rockets turned a 9 point defecit into a 12 point lead.

The third saw the Suns pull things back together, but only shorten the lead by 2points.

So going into the fourth with a 10 point defecit to shrink, what do the Suns do?? just that, they pull the lead back to 3 with 2 minutes left, the ball goes to Amare in the post who easily fools Yao and puts up a nice floater, which falls. 94-93 to the Rockets, the next minute sees some nice defense from both teams, then with 30 seconds on the clock the ball is inbounded to Baron, who brings the ball up, and after some good ball movement recieves the ball at the top of the key, comes off a solid screen set by Curry and slams the ball home with a two handed flush 95-94

10 seconds left and the Suns are playing stellar D, the clock runs down to 5 the Mobley jacks up a deep 2 with two hands in his face......swish. The Suns call a timeout and then try for a shot but there is too littel tiem and Murray misses the 3.

End score 96-95

POG Amare Stoudemire 21points 16rebounds 4blocks 6assists

Player Stats

Baron Davis 30points 4rebs 2stls 7asts

Catino Mobley 24p, nothing else

No Interviews due to lack of contact with Suns who went straight to locker room and were unavaliable.

I wrote that report in context, but that game really made me wonder wether the game, or at least the damn comeback code were made by a pack of drunken, stoned monkeys, cso in the period where i only scored 9 points Baron Missed 3 damn dunks, Amare went 0/10 inside the key and the only points were from 3 3 pointers from Ronald Murray!!!
Sometimes i just get soo anoyed with this game.
When i lose i want to knwo that i deserved to lose or at least the other team beat me fair and square.

Anyway thats enough raving, i still love this game

Tough loss, I can certainly relate to the situation. In my experience, you should never attempt a three pointer when trying for the win at the buzzer unless you absolutely need to. They have a habit of missing badly, no matter who you're shooting with (though sometimes you can be lucky).

Return of the Baron!!

11-5 Phoenix Suns @ 11-8 New Orleans Hornets

Tonight saw the match-up between the two teams involved in the biggest trade of the year.

The match-up to watch usualy would have been the Matrix on Monster Mash, but tonight it was Mash Vs B-Diddy.

It was clear from the start that Baron was gonna give New Orleans something special, playing more like Jason Kidd, dishing the ball all over the place, but at the same time still keeping up his scoring.

But even with Baron playing like a "Point God" instead of a Point Guard, the Hornets were still up 24-33 at end of the half.

The Second quarter saw the tables turned with the Suns coming out strong and ending up out scoring the Hornets 33-22 during the 2nd.

By the half Baron Davis had 9 assists

The third was more closely contested but the Suns still knuckled down and played soem good D to make up for average offense, to have a 82-79 lead going into the fourth.

In the fourth the Suns said goodbye to a half court offense pushing the ball hard up the court each time on offense. The Hornets were on the back foot the whole quarter, unable to hold onto the Blazing Suns who outscored them 39-28 during the third quarter.

End Score 121-107

Player of the game: Baron Davis 25points (9/18) 4rebounds ................ 24assists!!

Inetview with Former Sun Foward Shawn Marion

Press -"How was it playing your former team tonight??"

Matrix -"Oh i didn't find it that hard, it was a good game, i got a chance to see my old team mates and have a joke round after the game. There wasn't too much pressure on me anyway, it was Baron that everyone was focusing on, and he put a nice little show on for his old home crowd."

Press -"How are you likeing your time in NO? Do you tink the trade was for the best?"

Matrix -"I'm really enjoying my time here, at least im still in a tmea that is a playoff contender, the fans are great and im loving the city. As for the trade working out, im still the go-to guy here so i dont have to worry about changing my playing style, but i think the trade worked out best for the Suns, just look at how Amare is playing now!! I'm glad i didtn have to mark him tonight"

Press -"Thanks for that Shawn, we wish you the best, and may even meet you in the finals"

Matrix -*Laughs* "Yeah i guess that would be the best case scenario"

Hey match, great dynasty you've got. I've been wathcing this for a while. No disrespect to the others, but this is one team that's in a League of their own!

Looking good for the playoffs. Especially like that last game against the Matrix and his former team. You held that game together well, Amare seems to be doing a lot of damage with Baron, and the others. Flip and Miles are doing really well, especially both being back up. Posting some good numbers there!! Keep up the good work match.

One thing I'd suggest is that since you got an after the game interview, maybe a preview of before the game, and aslo, maybe add a league leaders, MVP candiadtes, POM awards, who's hot, who's cold, suprise player etc. every 3 games or so..

Macca

P.S. think you'll make one last blockbuster trade to put the nail in the coffin or are you gonna leave it. If so, who's on the block and who could be coming to Arizona??

GM Match_66 Fired!!!!!

Today during a press conference with GM Match_66 of the Phoenix Suns, he announced that he would be leaving the Phoenix Suns.

"I have enjoyed my time working here with the Suns and im not happy about leaving, but due to circumstances i cannot disclose, there is no other option"

Later today an inside source gave information that Match_66 had been fired due to an argument with Phoenix Coach Mike D'Antoni about playing time given to certain players, the matter was brought to the owners who decided that it was Match_66 who was in the wrong, but he would not change his view and refused to back down.

Phoenix have now hired a unknown wildcard from the same country as Match_66, nicknamed "Shooter Mc Craken".

I finished this Dynasty really for two reasons:

1. I was only playing a 28 game season and i've finally got motivated to do a full 82 game one.

2. After reading Spunk_23's Orlando Fantasy Draft Dynasty, he has inspired me to do something similar.

I'm sorry to dissapoint the readers, but i hope you can all find it in your hearts to forgive me :D , and come read my new one which will be with a new look Boston Celtics.
