Great trade, Hunter's an ok forward low ratings but a good rebounder for his size, I love the way Swift's been playing some good numbers vs Dallas
keep it up :D

I had to put hunter in because I couldn't offer 2 players because the Celtic's roster was full. He's only rated a 37 and is on the IR.

Clippers 111 Suns 104

This game was our worst start of the season. We scored the 1st bucket of the game, then went dead. The Suns started running, after we missed a shot. The Matrix was out ahead of everyone for sick slams and I just couldn't keep up. The suns made there first 11 shots and went on an 18-0 run after the first score. They were up in the first 25-4 at one point. Marion had with 23-at the end of the 1st Quarter!. The suns shot 67% in the quarter. We managed to cut into the lead and were down 31-22 at the end of the 1st. Barbosa had 6 asts in the 1st, and Dyess had 7 boards. Marion played the whole first quarter and sat through part of the 2nd. When he went to the bench, we started trying to comeback. Dyess was a beast on the boards for PHO and we struggled until the second. We managed to tie the game at 48 with 2:38 left to go in the 2nd. Marion only had 10 in the 2nd, and 33 at the half. My goal was to keep him under 50, even though in the 1st, he was on pace to break the NBA all time scoring record. We went into the locker room just down by three. Q had a tough time, only with 6 pts through the 3rd. Maggette was keeping us alive with a few 3's throughout the game.

In the 3rd, we kept it close and held the Matrix to just 9 pts. We left him open for 3 way too many times as he hit 6/7, and was only 25% for the season. We managed to cut into the lead, and took it with a little over 1 minute to go in the 3rd. Walter hit a key 3 in the quarter, as he was big for us off the bench with 8 pts. We ended the 3rd down 81-80.

In the 4th Q woke up. He hit all 3 three's and Maggette played like a man possessed. Brand was a defensive presence and had 10 pts in the 2nd half. It was close, but we got the lead up to 6 thanks to Q's back-to-back 3's. Dyess played way better than Amare. In the end, we hit our ft's and pulled out the comeback.

We are still looking for our 2nd loss.

I may stop updating for a while, because the weather here is getting nice, and I may start another. I'm not very consistent with dynasties.

That's always the problem with Season/Franchise/Dynasty Mode. If you happen to lose interest part of the way into the season, starting a new game is appealing (but puts you back at square one). It's great when you really get into a Dynasty though. (Y)

Perhaps you should try a 28 game season this time. Starting again at Day 1 of an 82 game season is pretty frustrating.

True. I was doing a Cavs Dynasy and lost interest, but kept going until the end of the season (82 games). I'll probably do the same thing. The only reason I quit was because I simmed up to the off-season and saw that my team had more decline than improvement. Especially Bron.

That comes down to the luck of the simulation though. Sometimes your team might decline, other times you might be lucky enough to have most of your young players improve in the offseason. Still, a fresh start would be...well, refreshing I guess.

I simmed up 2 or 3 times to see and I had improved LBJ to an 80. I decided to sim a 28 game season with bron rated a 79 and 81 to see how much I should train him. Turns out he increases as a 79 to an 81 or 82 and from an 81 to an 82.

Another update coming....
