The presentation as always on point kiba!! Excellent example of good research from the retro NBA. Highly ambitious too to recreate it like this! I would imagine resident Blazer Lamrock might keep an eye on this fantastic story so far! Yes you are right, keep losing and pick up some gems in the next few drafts. Especially if you are simming its not as tough a task!

Thanks my friend! I've definitely done my research a couple of months before beginning this one. Yeah it's definitely ambitious... if I do three seasons that would be a personal record, but I think I've laid the foundations to keep this going as long as I can, I don't have to worry about transactions, team additions or anything like that, just play and enjoy the story. I felt I had to do something different for the league's 75th anniversary, get to know the early heroes as well.

I hope the sim helps me and we don't make it but I was just ecstatic to win this one. No McKenzie and Geoff did it all.

I'm really happy with my bench, but I need more power in the starting five. Like in real life, I think Sidney Wicks is our guy. Manning is not enough.

Some notes to everyone checking!

1) If you go back to February, I edited a post in which I didn't write about the All-Star Game, so there's that. No Blazers/Cavs/Braves players like it happened in real life (Petrie and some others made it) or I had to change a lot of stuff.

2) All records and playoff series are duplicated from real life, expect for Portland's, obviously, and New York's (one less win -- Petrie's 44-point night here).

3) Since the Blazers' points per game were much, more lower than in real life (around 15 points), I edited all the other teams' PPG as well, or we would have been the league's worst offense by A LOT. League leaders in all categories are also real life's.

4) I created an All-Rookie 2nd Team, which wasn't done back then, but I didn't want to waste a lot of time awarding MIP, Sixth Man or DPOY; they will come in the future and I will get to write a little bit about them too.

There's a Blazers end of season post coming soon with team stats and everything, then I will take some time to edit the index. Will keep you posted!
