Hawks re-signed Johnson and signed Stoudemire![]()
July 13, 2010 - The NBA is making some huge headlines already with still months before the new 2010 NBA basketball season begins. Just yesterday, LeBron decided to play in L.A. where the other star is reigning. And now, it looks like the Atlanta Hawks formed a deadly lineup that can fear anybody.
The Atlanta Hawks and All-Star guard Joe Johnson has agreed to a five-year contract to stay with the Atlanta Hawks, the said deal was about $89.05 million. After capping off a 50-32 record last season and making to the playoffs, the Hawks are determined to keep Joe. Hours later, Hawks stunned the league by announcing they have signed the 6′11” power forward Amar’e Stoudemire. The forward will reportedly sign a five year contract worth $98.34 million which will will reunite him with Johnson. The Atlanta Hawks just got a whole bunch better after agreeing to this deal, just imagine the starting lineup, Josh Smith will probably slide to the small forward position.
"It feels great. The team offered me another contract and I didn't hesitate to sign with them," Johnson said. "And I feel excited because of the arrival of Amar'e, I can play with him again and build a dynasty."
Stoudemire will probably wear still his #1 jersey, Maurice Evans will switch to another number.Boozer goes to Wolves
July 14, 2010 - Carlos Boozer, forward from Utah Jazz is the next player who will be on the new team next season.
The Minnesota Timberwolves just signed Boozer to a five-year $97.65 million deal. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not announced.
Yet, David Kahn pulled off a nice signing, or not? Timberwolves now have a three budding power forwards, Boozer, Al Jefferson, and Kevin Love. How Kahn will deal with this? Timberwolves maybe trading Jefferson or Love for a legit center.
Boozer, 29, averaged 17.8 points, 10.9 rebounds in his last season with the Jazz. Now, Boozer will play alongside with the number one overall pick Al-Farouq Aminu and effective guard Jonny Flynn.Wade and Bosh to join force in Heat![]()
July 14, 2010 - It looks as if Pat Riley's potential master plan is coming to fruition. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will both sign with the Miami Heat and form a offensive duo.
Yes, they didn't got the top prize which is LeBron, but what can you ask more? Coming off a disappointing 31-51 record last season and didn't attend the playoffs, Heat had a massive cap space and can be able to sign 3 big names. While on the draft they've got the most talented and athletic on the class in the form of John Wall. Say, the Heat got their own 'Big Three'?
"I told ya guys, I will never leave South Beach if someone will come here, and that is Bosh," Wade happily said. "I thought we can bring James here, but well, I wish him good luck there in the west." The said deal for Wade was about five-year, $95.73 million while for Bosh, he will be earning $74.57 million for four years.Shaq is back at Phoenix
July 15, 2010 - The Big Cactus is back! After calling it one more year again, four-time NBA champion Shaquille O'Neal just signed with the Phoenix Suns for a one-year, $1.49 million minimum deal.
After failing to bringing the ring for the King, O'Neal was determined to play once again and gain another ring, now to the Suns. "I've got unfinished business here, I can still play and win a championship, this will be my last year." O'Neal said.
In his season with Suns, the 7-1, 325-pound O’Neal, averaged 17.8 points, 8.4 rebounds on 60% shooting. Stoudemire leave the Suns, but O'Neal is back. Reports said also that they signed Hakim Warrick to a five-year, $11.24 million deal.

Clippers hire Erik Spoelstra as their new head coach
July 16, 2010 - After Mike Dunleavy Sr. led the Clippers once again to the playoffs, he made his decision to call it quit.
Clippers now got their new head coach for now in the form of the ex-coach of the Miami Heat, Erik Spoelstra. Erik was fired this summer by the Heat because of the team's performance last season. Erik will coach the Clippers for 3 years.
Spoelstra is the current youngest coach in the NBA. He's also the first Filipino to step to the NBA. Surely, Erik will enjoy working with the general manager Justine Crewhead which also is a Fil-Am.
"I am truly a person who believes you hire from within and give people an opportunity," Crewhead said. "When you take a look at the game today, it's about men like Erik who are very, very talented and have an incredible work ethic, are loyal and trustworthy and deserve the opportunity."
