What are the tie breakers? DO you have a tiebreaker for at least two of the teams above you? Too bad you aren't playing them, so if you win, that's a double doozer!
Did you make this graphic:
If you did, I might have to ask you what font were you using? I think I need to incorporate that font into liveGMC!

Oh man now it will be hard to get into playoffs... Cavs and Spurs are really tough.
Thu May 18, 2006 2:52 pm
TOugh shot at th playoffs now for you, looks like it might be time to start thinking about next season
Thu May 18, 2006 6:05 pm
Thanks for your comments guys, and yep I think it's pretty much over for Shing's Kings hopes of reaching the playoffs. All season long we've performed quite well, but we dropped just at the wrong time.
Honorglow: Yea I made the graphic, I think the font is 'Eurostile' but I'm not sure, I'll take a look on my computer once I'm at home.
edit: yeah it's Eurostile

Though the Kings season looks all but finished, Shing Williams side will try to put on a tough reception for the Cavaliers who are still contending for the third place in the East with Miami (18-10) and New Jersey (18-11). Key to a win today will be in shutting down MVP hopeful Lebron James who currently leads MVP betting above Pau Gasol, Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowitzki.
Sacramento will use all three of the players they aquired from Phoenix in tonight's game after Kevin Martin's performance dipped recently, Shing Williams favored shooting guard Raja Bell for tonight's matchup.
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS (18-10)
C - Zydrunas Ilgauskas
(17.7ppg, 10.6rpg, 1.5apg, 1.3spg, 1.9bpg)
PF - Drew Gooden

SF - Lebron James

SG - Larry Hughes
(13.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 5.0apg, 2.3spg, 0.5bpg)
PG - Eric Snow
(8.6ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.4apg, 1.8spg, 0.3bpg)
SACRAMENTO KINGS (12-15)

SF - James Jones
(8.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.6apg, 0.6spg, 0.0bpg)
SG - Raja Bell

Around the League on Wednesday the 19th of April: It's DO or DIE for many teams in the West and the East in this, the last week of the regular season. The Western Conference picture is explained several posts above^^, but in the East the 7th and 8th spots are in hot contention too between the Pacers (13-12), Knicks (13-15), Magic (12-15) and the outsider Bucks (11-16). Indiana looks the most likely to clinch a place with 4 games still remaining to play.
The Washington Wizards (7-19) have ended the season positively with a 3 game winning streak. This will never make up for their 17game losing streak (the longest streak of wins or losses this season for any team) though, and they'll be one of the teams looking forward to this 'Strong' draft's lottery picks.
Propping up the bottom of the league alongside the Wizards are the Bobcats (4-22), Hawks (8-19) and the surprisingly poor Nuggets (9-17).
Grizzlies leader Pau Gasol is rightly ranked amongst those who are contending for this years MVP. Memphis (18-11) are currently 2nd place in the West, behind Phoenix, and this is due mainly to the fantastic play of Gasol (23.7ppg, 12.3rpg, 3.1apg, 1.9spg, 1.2bpg).

Good luck.
The Cavs have pretty impressive individual stat numbers.
Both Z and Gooden averaging Double Doubles and Bron is near too averaging one too.
Tough task for James Jones.

It looks like Sacramento's season is now all but over after today's outright loss against a strong Cleveland Cavaliers side that can now focus on the leadup to the playoffs. Sacramento trailed for the entire game after a poor first quarter performance saw them go down 31pts to 17pts. Both Bibby and Marion posted strong statistical performances, but it wasn't enough to contend with the might of Lebron, Larry Hughes and the rest of the Cavaliers. Viewers of the highlights video should watch for Bibby's half court shot to end the game, it's just a pity it wasn't enough to get a win for the Kings who are now looking towards the offseason after next week's game against the Spurs. James Jones is out for a week with an injury and therefore didn't play.
Damon Jones produced a magical 22 points off the bench in only 16minutes! Adding another 3 assists to go along with his huge haul of points.

Time to think about offseason yet

Today marked a disappointing end to the Sacramento Kings season. November's hopes of a championship side subsided to January's pitfalls and eventually it was April that led to the undoing of any hope for Sacramento to even qualify for the playoffs. Already coach Shing Williams is looking toward the off season as a chance to rebuild - if he manages to keep his job.
It was primarily the offensive strength of Manu Ginobli that proved the undoing of Sacramento in today's game, but it was the Kings overall lack of energy in the third quarter which saw them fall behind to last season's champions. Sacramento now look to rebuild in the off season.

So no playoffs for the Kings ... well thats ok, but you should try to get a small forward in draft !
And you choice of music is really good. I usually dont like those things, since I hear "Hip-Hop", but it is way better than wannabe gansgster stuff which I really hate !

The pictures I use are a synthesis of
NBA.com's boxscores and
Yahoo! Sports' icons, everything else I put together in Photoshop 7. Try and create your own style though!
