hey Laddas_KB8
if u want to make the develpoment more realistic got in players.dbf in u rsave file and change the playerpkg to like A or B or somthing quite high so he has greater potential

I have started a new franchise, and hopefully this time I can resist my urge to make big trades and keep it real.

With the Wizards, Jordan in the starting line-up, I have simulated up to the real Wizards next game in Indiana. I played that game, and beat the Pacers 93-80. Stackhouse was POG.

Jordan is injured with a torn plantar pascia.

Tue Feb 25, 2003 3:22 pm

sorry man its actualy the careerpkg that has to be changed

Tue Feb 25, 2003 5:39 pm

Well I lost 3 out of my last 4 games and I moved Dickau to starting PG. He nearly got a triple double last game! Do you think my move of JT to SG will work? Opinions please.

Tue Feb 25, 2003 7:58 pm

OK, my new franchise, I'm going to restart that, coz I don't think my Russell to Atlanta for Juwan Howard trade would ever happen.

This time, I am dedicated to making realistic trades, realistic signings, and just hope for the best in the draft.

If MJ retires, I'll probably use Jared Jeffries at starting SF, and let him develope. That have me a starting line-up of:

SF- Jeffries
PF- Kwame
C- Haywood
SG- Stackhouse
PG- Hughes

In comes the youth developement. Now, when I would like to make a trade, it's up to you guys to tell me if the deal is realitic or not and if it would actually have chance of happening in real life.

Tue Feb 25, 2003 9:31 pm

OK, simulated the first season of the franchise, and the Wizards were sweeped in the Finals by MVP Shaquille O'Neal and the LA Lakers.

With the off-season details:
Charles Oakley retired, but to my surprise, Michael Jordan decided to keep playing the game he loves.

I re-signed MJ to a 1yr, 180,000 contract
I also re-signed Tyronn Lue and Bryon Russell to a 3yr, 85,000 and 1yr 190,000 contracts respectively.

In the draft, I selected 2 centers, in the first round, 6'11 Mike Henson, and in the second round, 7'6 Jess King. Both picks were #26 in each round.

I have not signed any FA's or made any trades. But have come up with some trade idea's:

1st Trade:
Byron Russell (82) to the Lakers for Tyrone Nesby (77) and Tracy Murray (75). Russell has a 190,000 contract with 1 year remaining, while Nesby re-signed with LA for 5yrs, 99,000 and Tracy Murray has 3yrs left, at 90,300. Nesby's and Murray contract combine for a total of 189,300.

2nd Trade:
Henson (68) and King (59) to Nuggets for Chris Whitney (81). Both Henson's and King's contract's are for the minimum, but Henson has 3 yrs and King has 1 yr. Whitney has 1 year remaining at 62,222.

Thought's please!

Remember, I ain't making deals unless it realistic and if it would actually happen in real life. Although the 2nd trade couldn't happen in real life.

i'd say keep russel.
coz then wen he goes out of contract and jordan finally retires, u will have 360,000 extra. sign a few good players or one good player.
there just my thoughts.

Wed Feb 26, 2003 5:36 am

lue for tmac sounds like a realistic trade...just playin. A player that u have to get is RAFER ALSTON! I am so happy i live in toronto and get to watch him cross players up, braking there ankles, 3s, amzing canadian dimes. The First trade sounds good and realistic, gotta love Tracy Murray

Wed Feb 26, 2003 10:02 pm

So far, one vote for making the 1st trade, and a vote against making the first trade. I'm not gonna start the season until this has been decided out of 7 votes! Like the playoffs, best of 7.

Thu Feb 27, 2003 8:14 pm

I couldn't wait for you guys to vote on a deal. I didn't make a trade, but I started the season with a bang! I humiliated the 3-0 Boston Celtics 97-56 with pure team play by Larry Hughes, who was POG. 13 points and 14 assists by Larry.

Stackhouse had 19 to lead all scorers, Kwame had 13, Jeffries had 16, Haywood had only 4, and Jordan had 11 off the bench.

good stuff
i just beat the bulls 103-91 with great play coming from tskitsvili
i rested donnel harvey and put tskisvili in the 5 and he was great with 17pnts in 19mins.
Camby got pog off the bench with 12pnts 10rebs 3blks.

Fri Feb 28, 2003 8:27 pm

Looks like I may have to up the level to superstar. I just crushed the Sacramento Kings 101-67 in Washington. Stackhouse led the way with 22 points, but Hughes was once again POG with 12 points and 12 assists. Kwame added 12 points while MJ had 9 off the bench.

Just wanna post here since Wizards are my franchise team. Currently in 2007 with 16-0 win-loss card and have 3 titles. Here's my current line-up:

Starting PG: JUAN DIXON 3
Starting SG: JERRY STACKHOUSE 42
Starting SF: VINCE CARTER 15
Starting PF: BEN WALLACE 4
Starting C: YAO MING 11

Bench Warmers:

Richard Hamilton 32
Antonio Davis
Jared Jeffries
Tyronne Lue
David Robinson
Tyronne Rogers (7'6" Center, 1st round 2004, 29th overall)

Sat Mar 01, 2003 12:30 pm

I have probably made the Playoffs now that I am sitting pretty in fifth spot in the East, 6 games in front of ninth placed Indiana.

I have won the last 5 games, if I make the playoffs how do you all think i'll go?

2007, wow. What are the ratings then? (For your team)

Sat Mar 01, 2003 9:46 pm

Here is a trade I want to make with Portland:

Wizards trade
Bryon Russell (82)
Tyronn Lue (79)

to Blazers for
Andre Miller (82)
Scottie Pippen (78)

Do I make the deal?

Sun Mar 02, 2003 8:23 pm

I've made a deal, it sent Russell, Lue and White to Portland for Miller, Pippen and Hardings (rookie)

I also gained serious cap space from this deal.

Sun Mar 02, 2003 8:51 pm

In the 3 games I've played since the deal, I've gone 2-1, the loss was a heartbreaking defeat in Boston, Kwame Brown missed the FT that would've kept the game tied after Delk made his FT's. And Stackhouse missed a long 3 with 2 seconds left.

Sun Mar 02, 2003 11:34 pm

Nice trade there Troy.
Ive played 3 games lately, lost to the Hornets 113-103. B-Diddy lit me up for 47pnts.
lost to the Spurs 95-87.
And in Shawn Marions Debut for the team :D we lost 101-98 to the Wolves
Marion had 26pnts 7rebs 7asts on 13/30 shooting. He is really good at going to the hopp and cant be beat in the open court just like real life.

I traded Marcus Camby and Chris Whitney for Shawn Marion and Scott Williams.
I now line-up with C-Hilario Pf-Howard Sf-Marion Sg-Yarbrough Pg-Harrington.

I decided to keep harrington coz he averaged 9ppg 8apg 5rpg off the bench since i announced i was about to trade him lol.

Mon Mar 03, 2003 8:04 pm

To be honest with you guys, although I think I made the right decision with the trade, I kinda miss Lue and Russ.

Mon Mar 03, 2003 8:25 pm

Is anyone even interested in my franchise what could I add to my site to make it more interesting. Bearing in my I can't have a a highlights page cos' I have the PS2 version.

Wed Mar 05, 2003 7:57 pm

Played two games today, in Orlando and at home against Atlanta. I won them both, the game in ORL was by 14, and the Hawks game was by 8. Stackhouse had 22 and 28 in those games respectively.

Should I try to get Stackhouse 30 plus points a game?

Thu Mar 06, 2003 2:10 am

well if hes ur goto guy troy, then yer go for it

as for marion, hes averaged 30+ since joining my team and had 41pnts today in a win vs the blazers.
ive gone back to superstar coz it seems pretty easy to beat good teams now(and im with Denver lol)

Thu Mar 06, 2003 7:38 pm

Well, I played Orlando again, this time in Orlando, and I believe Stackhouse may of had his breakout game. He scored a season high 38 points and dished out 4 dimes in a 102-87 win, that included a 15-2 run in the final minutes.

Now I play the 7-6 Memphis Grizzlies.

Thu Mar 06, 2003 8:06 pm

Don't ask me why, but for some reason I want to trade for Vince Carter to keep the Tar Heels going in DC. I won't make a trade, coz then it slows down the developement of JJ, Kwame, and some of the other young guys.
