SG  J. Johnson
PG  C. Billups

SF  C. Anthony
SG  R. Allen
PG  A. Iverson
Coach  Don Nelson

Last Shot Win!

Summary
1st Quarter Early in the 1st quarter it was Iverson playing a dominate role as he got to the line twice and then getting Yao to line leaving Shaquille O’Neal stranded with 2 fouls. As the 1st quarter progressed both teams where solid and the game was a scoring feast which stayed tight. As the Quarter Progressed both teams found it hard to make a run as they stayed within 3 points for the first 5 minutes. Although this quickly changed as the West where tickling the twine as they went up 21-16. Although the Pistons all-stars began to click as Dirk drew a double team then kicked out to Billups for the three. The game then went into overdrive as the East and West tried to get a break on there opponent but some Ray Allen brilliance took them to a first quarter 30-22 lead as Allen had 12 points and 4 rebounds.

2nd Quarter Early in the Second the East went to work on the inside but Yao’s dominating presence inside again and again prevented the east and they then trailed by 12. The west then got some help from the bench, but this was just before the highlight reel began as Dir showed his full repute to get them back to 8 points. This inspired the East as Carter dew the attention with 3 Monster dunks, first a tomo-hawk then an Air Jordan followed by a monster reverse. The East then fed from this and got as close as 4 points. But the pressure the west executed was relentless although Bosh was demanding on both ends of the court. But this pressure eventually let down and the West broke away just before half-time as they took a commanding 59-46 lead

Players at the half
East  Chauncey Billups, 10 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
West  Ray Allen, 19 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal

3rd Quarter In the second half it was time for some catching up and Chauncey got them of to a great start hitting the first to, but the west quickly answered with a dunk a steal and then 2 successful free-throws. With this taken into context Chauncey knew if they where going to win he would have to be the man hitting a three then coming up with a big two. From this the East caused consecutive turnovers and got within 7 (57-64). The East then began to roll as they tied it up at 64-64. But the Western All Stars quickly hit back with a steal and a deep triple just to be shadowed out by some Dirk Nowitzki brilliance. Although the west once again hit the lead but Dunleavy was on a tear draining a tough shot. Although the constant runs didn’t continue there as the West got back out to a 5 point lead. But this was short lived as Shaq had it back to 72-73 in seconds. From this both teams slammed there way into what had been set up as a monster half thanks to 2 power dunks to finish the quarter of for the East by Carter. At the end of the 3rd it was all tied up at 80-80 with Billups dominating with 24 points and 8 assists.

4th Quarter The last Had been set up to be a beauty and it sure started of that way as Carmelo and Joe Johnson got proceedings kicked of with big jams. From this the East built a short lead of 4 points (86-82). But the West rapidly hit back and after 2 minutes led 88-86. Both teams then wanted this one not only for Pride but to show they where better. This was when Chauncey once again stepped up and dominated the game. Although Allen was relentless drawing fouls number 4 and 5 in sequence on East big man Shaquille O’Neal. This consequently didn’t stop the powerful East team (filled mostly by mostly by Pistons and ex-Pistons) as they got a mini 97-93 break. Players put bodies on the line in a Championship atmosphere but it was the East who looked the more Desperate and some all star play was needed by a Western All-Star. But it was Billups and Nowitzki combining to give them a 6 point lead just before a 1st time all star and unlikely all star stepped up again for the East, As Lorenzen Wright tore through a solid defence and kicked out to Johnson for a tough three. The East at this stage led 103-97. But the last two minutes where being owned by the west as they got within 3 points with 1:30 to go. All signs looked good for the West but then the veteran and so to be retire Grant hill too it back out to 5. This was not the end though as Anthony became a hero putting them up 106-105. Once again there was a twist as Johnson fired up an open three just to fall short and have the ball fall in Billups had under the basket as he hit a contested lay-up against Yao to win the game for the East 107-106 and take home the All-Star MVP.

The East have been re-named as the pistons? haha they should be, since your entire roster is on the team  nah you might want to fix that.....it is in the 4th qtr recap.

anyway, this was a great all-star weekend. one to remember :D

History Making Event

Postby 3PK on Sat May 05, 2007 8:08 pm

Sunday 25th of February Seattle @ Detroit

NOTE: this game was played on 8 minute quarter because I forgot to change it from the all star game, WOOPS

Preview:
This is a near impossible task for the Sonics as they head to face a 20-1 Detroit. Seattle sits a Measly 6-12 coming into the game and to win this one Allen will have to dominate. What makes it even harder for Seattle is that they already struggle to hard average and poor Big men but the Fact that they’re playing the most inform big men in the league is threatening. So it’s expected to be an easy win for Detroit as 3PK’S prediction is the pistons destroy the sonic 95-74 in what is a blow-out victory.

Detroit starting 5
C- S. O’Neal
PF- D. Nowitzki
SF- J. Howard
SG- R. Hamilton
PG- C. Billups
Coach– Flip Saunders

Seattle Starting 5
C- D. Fortson
PF- N. Collison
SF- R. Lewis
SG- R. Allen
PG- L. Ridnour
Coach- Bob Hill

O’Neal and Williams Record first Pistons Double-Doubles in History changing night

Summary
1st Quarter In the first Detroit came out with all weapons blazing. But Seattle where sticking right with them as it was deadlocked 6-6 after a minute. But then the pistons lifted a few notched and went on a 12-0 run to lead 18-6. The game then became ridiculous as the pistons jumped out to a 29-10 lead with 2:30 left in the quarter. The momentum then began to go into overdrive as they pistons made fun of the Sonics dismal defence going on a massacre scoring spree and ultimately taking a 45-14 lead into the 1st quarter break.

2nd Quarter The second quarter was a mimic of the 1st as Detroit Pummelled the Sonics on both ends. The pistons where literally playing as if they had no opponent as Williams dished out he’s first assist and the pistons 18th just two minutes into the second quarter. As the quarter progressed it was a simple training session for the pistons as they led 53-28 with 5 minutes to play in the second quarter. The New recruits then began to state there presence as Shaq grabbed rebound number 8. This Game then became to look like a history making one as the pistons led 75-35 with 2 minutes to play. They then played a solid last two minutes which where filled with plenty of highlight plays including two alley-oops to lead 88-43 at halftime.

Players at the half
Detroit  Shaquille O’Neal 16 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks
Seattle  Nick Collison 6 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists

3rd Quarter In the Second half Detroit where chasing History for the biggest ever win, As they set off in the right direction as they led by well over 40 points. Shaq then began a quest for a triple-double whilst during the mean-time Nowitzki and Hamilton where showing good form. The pistons then fed from Shaq as they dropped every shot given and went on a 20-0 run shooting 9-9 from the field. The scoreboard wasn’t reflecting Seattle’s effort as the continuously tried to yield there way into the game but tonight was the night where Detroit played the whole game as they ran Havoc to take an commanding and devastating 132-69 lead a whopping 63 point lead.

4th Quarter In the last Detroit set a third string goal which was to HAMMER the Sonics. This goal started of in the simultaneous fashion to the rest of the other quarter as the pistons 3rd tear side was humiliating Sonics best 5. The Pistons where able to control the game through wise decisions and great defence to take a 184-83 lead. The pistons then saw great scenes as there ex-Miami Trio where all dominating the game. Although Seattle began to show resistance as they went on a 13-3 run. But this was too little and too late to damage the score line in any way as the Pistons ultimately recorded the biggest win in NBA history finishing with a 175-103 win.

Image

surprise of the game
The surprise of the game was definitely Hard to pick so it went to two ex-Miami players who showed why they came to Detroit as Williams recorded a Double-Double with 15 points, 1 rebounds, 16 assists and 1 steal and Haslem also played Brilliant with 18 points, 6 rebounds 2 assists and 2 steals

3PK’s Game breaker:
Shaquille O’Neal  Shaq was a easy choice for MVP as he cleaned up the boards, scored in a frenzy, sent balls flying and got team-mates involved. Shaq finished with 24 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 blocks

Notable performers
 Shaquille O’Neal had a monster game with 24 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 blocks
 Chauncey Billups also dominated with 15 points, 18 assists and 2 steals
 It was a tough choice for the 3rd best player non P.O.G player but it had to go to Jason Williams who recorded a Double-Double with 15 points, 1 rebounds, 16 assists and 1 steal.

Player Of The Game  Dirk Nowitzki  45 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and 4 steals

You've told me how it is a :| and i have responded with a master plan to ensure i don't win everygame and everything is as realistic as it will be [hope you'll like it] (Y)

I had a plan which i wasn't going to use until next year but this calls for drastic measures one of my viewers isn't happy and therefore i will now change it so that i watch all 4 quarters on 8 minutes and then i have a full extent recap just like the All-Star game.

I'm goning to do this  So that i get a variety of wins and losses
 So that i still have in-depth recaps, infact now they will be even more in-depth
 To keep a loyal viewer that comments on a very regular ocassion
 So i can play more games more frequnatly
 More realistic scores
 More realistic stats E.G. No more 10 steal games no more 60 point games, no more 80% 3pt and FG shooting games

Thnx scoop [do you like this idea better], could everyone please comment on what there thoughts are or if they have any other playing styles to get even more realistic and exciting results please comment on that, Thanx  (Y) :D

Thnx for the support scoop becuase i basically did it for you and anyone else that was getting sick of it being so unrealistic.

Nice idea

Thnx for the support i think it will work quiet nicely
works for me...

Glad to hear i'm not losing a viewer and commenter, thnx for the comment

Sounds good, but boring on your side.

A well actually when i did the all star game i had a lot of fun watching to see how it pans out and i really liked it and actually i probably like recapping more then playing [because playing and recapping at the same time takes ages]

Well anyway thanx for the support everyone and i will probably have another game up today (Y)

And if anyone still doesn't really like the idea from what they've heard check out the all-star game because it will be very similar to that. :D

Alright, this should be good.

However, I think that the CPU will have more realistic scores on 12 min quarters. The sim engine works that way at least.
