Big game tonight but I'm confident we can win! I dont even know who we're playing and if we've played. Right now theres Lithuania vs Qatar... Will watch a bit of it.. it's only 8-5 right now.
That brings me to my thoughts on Lithuania... sorta expected and unexpected that they would struggle without Saras and Siskauskas... both players I have seen in Olympic competition and I hold both in high regard. Great players and the team needs the experience. They should make the next round but I doubt they will get far after that. Not sure if that's what Marquis and the other Lithuanian supporters feel like but yeh, that's what I think.
They just scored a three.

EDIT3: Wow.... I didnt expect China to do so well lol... I expected them to struggle a bit against Puerto Rico but of course I knew there was a great chance they'd beat them... ANyways... only a three point loss. I have complete confidence in winning the last two games... I really do, H Rock, Jing and other China Fans (including my main Azn Andrew Watson-'Add Chinese Here') - We need to believe!!! Have faith!!!
EDIT4: Ok, Aussies play Greece, I think we will beat them acutually and I think Aussies can come 2nd or 3rd in the group with wins over Lithuania and Greece! C'mon Aussie c'mon!

EDIT8: A few straight plays where I havent seen Bogut touch the ball... as I had feared, Aussies still playing a very outside focused shooting game. theyre playing Bogut in and everyone out and lots of cutting and swinging around the permiter before a man is open on the arc... Bogut's there to set screens and all... I dunno, when someone dribbled in, Boguts man rotated on the dude, he shoulda passed in to Andrew for an open bucket... oh man, it pisses me off lol... I dunno, I can understand taking an open shot if ur open but if Bogut is open inside first, should u give it to him???
Halftime Edit: Ok Greece lead 39-34... We're playing pretty well, 50% from the field, 50 from behind the arc, even with greece on the glass and we got more assists by a little bit. We did turn the ball over a bit, especially in the time i was watching, when Greece put the press on us for a tiny bit... ah well, thats wat presses are sposed to do and its not like we struggled really bad.
Anyways, hope that Australia changes its strategy one day.

Well thats it from me tonight boys... might watch a bit of the USA Slovenia game if its on.... Well, For Aussies, I think we can beat Lithuania and Qatar and get 2nd place or 3rd place depending on what happens.
China Im a bit worried about, we need a big win against Senegal to get morale high and win with our backs against the wall against Slovenia...
New Zealand should beat Japan and if they do... they should be alright to beat Panama in two days...

I didn't see game or boxscore, how did Dickel help the team (aside from choking at the charity stripe at the end)?!? all we gotta do now is get by Panama to meet up against Argentina in the next round....the Panama game isn't a certainty....Panama has a handful of ex-NBA players who were college stars....it just takes someone like Ruben Douglas exploding for Panama to win a tight game over us....so nothing is a given....
