Only one day left man. :)

Yeah don't have them very up in the standings here. Also Houston won't go very far without their two stars...

Posted the first Around The Association section. Also I'm editing the settings and schedule right now.

A tough test right from the start against the Mavs.. The 2nd week look a lot more difficult with Cavaliers and my Heat!

Expect a loss on the 6th week, when one young fellow will drop 55. :cheeky:

Whats the problem with Damp? He is one key to the Mavs success. I hope nothing too serious ;) Good looking, short (considering you wrote it ;) ) and nice preview. Good Luck ! (Y)

Didn't have time to make the whole lineup GIF again. Think of him getting arrested for DUI and not making to the game in time.

I wrote it but took the stats from the player profiles.

You put ALOT into the presentation in here and it looks great. Just hope all the hard work from presentation doesn't tire you out from keeping the games coming. (Y)

Those GIF's are really impressive, very innovative! I haven't read any of your older dynasties so I don't know if you've done them before, but they're a big plus on presentation factor.

Looking forward to the post-game review. :D

Thanks man. I did them in my last Nets association... I only lasted 10 games before it ended... I also had a Heat and a Magic associations (all this 3 in a 1-year span, just don't have any luck). I really like them... I had to come to work now, saved the game at halftime...

can't remember right now, I'm not sure but I was leading by at least 15 points, the Wizards were actually playing defense

Arenas, Jamison lead Wizards over Dampier-less Mavs
Preview | Recap | Game Info | Full Play-by-Play | Image Watch Highlights

The Washington Wizards were perfectly happy to miss Erick Dampier. With the Dallas Mavericks' center sidelined for getting arrested on the road for DUI, the Wizards took advantage to beat the Mavericks 108-89 on Tuesday night, in the season opener for both teams. Last season, the Wizards were without Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood almost the entire season; yesterday, the Wizards had all the stars on their lineup. Antawn Jamison took advantage of Dampier's absence and scored 21 points to go with 10 rebounds to make the Mavericks crash in their first game.

"It felt good to get a win in our first game,'' Arenas said. "Sitting on the sidelines with Gilbert last season, going through that depressing stage. You're itching to play,'' Haywood added. Arenas had 23 points and 6 rebounds, but Washington had lots of contributions from others. Caron Butler flirted with a triple-double with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Haywood finished with 12 points and 7 rebounds as the Wizards outrebounded the Cavs 50-38. Jamison claims to be friendly with Dampier, but was happy to see him wearing a suit instead of a uniform. "I didn't miss the guy at all. It actually felt pretty good. I'm good friends with him. I'm just kind of glad it wasn't tonight.'' The Wizards had a relatively easy time. Butler's jumper to end the first quarter gave Washington a 31-25 lead, and sparked a 20-6 run that put Washington up 58-43 at the half. Washington led by 20 early in the third quarter, which didn't make Dallas coach Rick Carlisle happy. "We didn't compete like we are capable of,'' Carlisle said. "There were times that we just didn't put bodies on bodies.''

"We can win games, but obviously we're going to have to get some bodies healthy for us to be able to get back to where we were last year,'' Dirk Nowitzki added; the German had 20 points and 9 rebounds in 7-of-13 shooting. Dallas cut the lead 74-64 with 1:35 left in the fourth quarter. But the Mavs couldn't get any closer. Playing at shooting guard, Josh Howard led the Texas team with 23 points and 6 rebounds, as Shawn Marion and J. J. Barea scored 10 points apiece for Dallas; Marion had 10 rebounds and Barea posted 4 assists. "More than anything, as a team offensively we have struggled tonight. Our shot selection, our decision-making - it's just not been good,'' Dallas point guard Jason Kidd said. Jason Terry played 32 minutes but only scored 1 point, shooting 0-of-7 from the field, 0-of-4 from beyond the arc, product of a superb defense by Wizards guard Mike Miller, who had 4, 5 rebounds and 6 assists, and Butler in some parts of the game.

Great win to open the season. Terry killed the Mavs. Question: Did Jamison or Arenas win Jordan Player Of The Game?

Thanks man, already making the next Around The Association... it will cover the starters' averages, any injuries, trades, rumors, and signings.

Question: Is the recap against the Mavs, the perfect recap length? Myself, I thought it wasn't very short or very long either.

Perfect length if you ask me. Good win by the way ;) The Mavs were a bit off especially Terry.

Yeah, he was never comfortable with Miller and Butler all over him in defense...

Yep. :cheeky: There's the first.

You will note little trophies there... Gold trophy is for the "Jordan Player of the Game Award"... the black one is, well, "The Ha Seung-Jin / Mario West Award".
