Good trade man, but you're going to bench Wally now aren't you, I don't think that Rip or Wally could play as PG's ... Damn...So what's your lineup going to be?

Anyways, nice win, too bad your last quarter turbo thingie isn't wearing off :?

1-1 for us isnt too bad...and i had my avg output of 15-5-5(ish) :)

ps:  at the Gay pic where he's caressing Drew's head :P

Nice trade (Y) I rekon Rip is a better scorer than Wally, so some of the scoring pressure should be taken off P Double and you will still have Wally off the bench for impact points.

RIP’s First Game Ended In Dissapointment As Pacers Pull Out Overtime Win

    November 15, 2006
    Boston Celtics – 100
    Indiana Pacers - 115

In Richard Hamilton’s first game as a Celtic, the game just didn’t go his new team’s way. Hamilton wore #5, which he bought from 2nd year player Gerald Green for an undisclosed amount; Nazr Mohammed will wear #9. Early in the last quarter, Jermaine O’Neal took out Al Jefferson and Hamilton while driving to the basket, yet the foul was called on Jefferson.

Indiana’s rookie sensation Adam Morrison brings his northwestern game to the basketball hotbed state. Morrison torched the Celtics with layups, dunks, spins and more. Things didn’t get any better when O’Neal rose above and over Rudy Gay to totally jump over him for the dunk; it totally silenced the Celtics fans.

Mohammed didn’t really have a good debut on a Celtics uniform, shooting only 1-4 for 4 points and 2 rebounds. Hamilton scored 12 in 47 minutes of play. Wally Szcerbiak told press before the game he didn’t mind coming off the bench as a 6th man, as long as he gets his share of shots and his team is performing well. Delonte West led Boston with 22 points while Paul Pierce had 21.

Morrison and Tinsley both had 20 points; 7 players on the Pacers’ team had double-digit points. Tinsley was named POTG because he also had 9 assists.

Shiet what's going on.
Two loses in a row for this Jailblazers team.
Shit game for both me and Lpasso vs. Cleveland.
Nice trade for Monta.
Man does Ea gotta fix that CF.
Someone make a Monta Ellis. Haha.

that's right. the spurs taken down by the 'cats. awesome.

Tue Oct 24, 2006 7:21 am

aahh Marquis Daniels 10 points!!

Tue Oct 24, 2006 7:42 am

Morrison pwnt Gay. Rip Hamilton should be a nice complimentary player to Paul Pierce, especially since Pierce likes to attack the rim so often.

god damn back spasms

Tough loss, I put up 15 again, but man has my shooting been poor.

Maybe you might need to tweak your teams primacy since you've done the trade....

True... most of the NLSC teams are not doing so well... I think Pdub and Sit's Hornets are the only NLSC team over .500

Tue Oct 24, 2006 2:44 pm

Ah I see, Umm well I think Pierces Primacy rating might have dropped with the roster reordering of the rosters, as with the other players, you might want to look into that (Y)

Rudy Posterizes Magloire To Win The Game

    November 17, 2006
    Boston Celtics – 125
    Portland Trailblazers - 121
Click on team names for Boxscores!

Boston was up 89-80, but the Blazers, led by super rookies Lpasso Sor and Sam Anurak stormed back and forced the game to the last seconds. Boston had pulled ahead 118 – 103 with just 2:39 left in the game, but that’s where the rookies got hot. Anurak went 2-3 from downtown while Sor drained 2 in a row for 12 points in just fewer than 2 minutes, making it a game.

Anurak even pulled the Blazers ahead when he drained a his 3rd and final 3 pointer of the game. With only 4.9 seconds left, it was 121-120 Portland. Boston called timeout right when Anurak’s three swished in. With Kedrick Perkins inbounding, Rudy Gay cut to the ball, and drove into the lane. With the ball in his hands, the clock ticking down, and only Jamal Magloire in his way, Gay simpily rose up, and slammed it down. What it sweeter was that Magloire also picked up his 6th and final foul when he was dunked on by Gay, sending him out of the game. Gay sank his free throw, and it was 123-121 Boston.

Darius Miles took the ball with 1.9 seconds left and inbounded, but his pass was off and hit Kedrick Perkins in the head, which deflected into the arms of Gerald Green; Sor commited the intentional foul right away. Green sank both of his free throws, putting the game out of reach.

Paul Pierce was named POTG with 30 points and 8 rebounds, as well as 3 steals. The Celtics’ savior Gay had 15 points. Delonte West and Kedrick Perkins also had notable performances. On the other side Sor had 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists while Anurak was a monster with a 43 point, 4 rebound, and 8 assist performance in the loss. The big difference in this game was free throws, the Celtics made 12 more free throws than the Blazers even attempted.
