Did you really need to quote him and say the EXACT same thing he did?

Guy A: "Shaq got first team. "

Most improved player is Voshon Lenard? Well that is just crappity crap.

Why is Joe Johnson in Phoenix?

Overall, I think the presentation is pretty good for a console dynasty.

Duncan's Interview of the MVP Throphy

Voice of David Stern:

Tonight we are gethered here for Game 1 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals between the San Antonio Spurs (crown cheering) and the Houston Rockets (crown booing). Every season in the playoffs we award a player that has been the best during that season. Tonight a player that has averaged 34.8 PPG and 10.6 RPG, a double-double during the season, his name is "the two time MVP...and tonight his third, your MVP of the 2005/06 season Tim Duncan!

Q: Do you feel that you deserved this MVP throphy?

Duncan: I'm never going to say that this is the best of me, I did what I have to do this season and win this award.

Q: What does MVP mean to you?

Duncan: Well, It means alot, means a lot to me and my family.

Q: Saying that Duncan is the MVP, does that mean you're the best player in the NBA?

Duncan: I'm never going to say that I'm the best there is and the best there ever will be, because there is always somebody that is a better player than yourself?

Q: Do you think that this is your last MVP throphy?

Duncan: Never say never.

Q: Thank you for taking your time and chatting with us, and by the way nice cut.

Duncan: Yup, thank's...hhahha, thank you.

GAME RECAP

San Antonio has won Game 1 of the Western Semis. They played great through out the game. In the first quarter it looked like the Spurs will lose Game 1. Houston got on a quick start going onto a 8-0 to start the game. The crowd was stunned after the big celebration with Duncan's MVP award. Duncan and the Spurs werent gonna let the Rockets win on their own court and they played some great defense allowing the Rockets to score 25 points through out 2nd and 3rd quarter. In the fourth it was a pretty much balanced game but the Spurs outsored the Rockets 32-25. Spurs won Game 1 here at the At&t Center and they will take on the Houston Rockets tomorrow night at the Toyota Center in Houston. Rockets' crowd will be happy and they will be cheering on their team and make sure to win Game 2 sending it to final and deciding Game 3.

INJURY UPDATE

Image - LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers got injured last night in a game 1 vs the Detroit Pistons. He was going for a dunk and Ben Wallace fouled him and when LeBron fell, he broke his wrist. The injury will take 4-6 weeks to heal. He is unplayable and those are very bad news for the Cleveland Cavaliers as now all of their players have to step up their game and possibly beat Detroit, but we dont know.

GAME RECAP

The San Antonio Spurs are moving onto the Western Conference Finals by beating the struggling Houston Rockets. The Rockets got onto a quick start a 9-0 run to start the game, it looked like this was going to a final and deciding Game 3. The crowd was loud and everytime the Rockets scored it got even more louder. But in the second quarter everything turned around for the Rockets. Spurs played great defense and going onto an 11-2 run to close out the second quarter leading by four. In the third and fourth quarter it was pretty much all Spurs but the game was always 5-10 pts difference, Spurs were up. Spurs played great defense through out the game and through out the 2nd half and managed to win the game 103-92. The Rockets crowd left the arena hopeless. San Antonio will face the Phoenix Suns in the Western Finals, who came of the win in Denver, defeating the Nuggets, 2-0. Game 1 will be played in San Antonio, both teams came off from 2-0 series wins.
