don't quit man, you recap so well (Y) if you are going to quit, at least finish the season

Sat Apr 28, 2007 9:53 pm

 Hey yeh i seriously don't wanna quit but i just have no time to play 06 and it takes hours on end to do the amount of work i do with my recap and i think it is just boring for us all if i only do a recap once or twice a week but i'm trying my hardest to get a system to work.

P.S In the poll the 1st one is Yes and the second option is no but for sum reason it ain't working

Sun Apr 29, 2007 12:00 am

Um, I think you made a mistake with the last choice, Anyway I voted that it not be retired yet.

Sun Apr 29, 2007 12:32 am

Hey thnx for the votes everyone soz about the 3rd option stuffed it up just ignore it

Sun Apr 29, 2007 4:01 am

You really should just finish this. You are like 9 games away from completing the season, and this is a great dynasty. I know that 2K7 pwns this game, but we all need closure!

Sun Apr 29, 2007 4:17 am

i voted that you should keep the dynasty running. Like Lamrock13 said you only have 9 more games...finish them!!!

Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:30 am

I think i finally came to my senses, who cares about school work i'll get over it :D I am gonna play the rest of the season and playoffs then we'll see how wee go from there :D

Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:58 am

Glad to see that you're willing to at least finish off the season. It'd definitely leave us all hanging if you didn't at least get to the playoffs.

Breaking News :!:

Is a shock to the Whole Detroit and Miami public there has been one of the biggest trades in history. On the 8th of Febuary Detroit offered the Miami Heat Rasheed Wallace a 89 overall 11 year pro, Chris Webber 80 overall 13 year pro and Jameer Nelson 72 overall 2 year pro for Shaquille O'Neal 89 overall 13 year Pro, Jason Williams 74 overall 8 year pro and Udonis Haslem 71 overall 3 year pro. Miam where quick to accept which now see's these moves:

Detroit Acquire  Shaquille O'Neal
 Jason Williams
 Undonis Haslem

Miami Acquire  Rasheed Wallace
 Chris Webber
 Jameer Nelson

What the orginisation thought
Detroit GM 3PK then commenterd we really made this move to get some experiance into the playoffs and to try and improve our defence. Shaq is also a big Pick up because he is a bigger body then wallace who had been sturggling of late and this brigns 3 championship players to our system. Shaq will also draw a lot of fouls and this is vital to us as we are always the one's in foul Trouble. Jameer was involved because he had been having a let down season and we arn't looking as much to the future we want the Tital thiss year. We all wish the three ex-pistons good luck but this is the Detroit of now and we're going to win this Championship with Shaq, Williams and Haslem at Detroit.

P.S i also accepted to make it more fun for me and everyone else and i no so of you might think Shaq isn't gonna be any good because he will retire, well i made the move to win the title in the short future not in ten year.

P.P.S the jazz game will be up in a few hours

P.P.P.S tell me what you think on the trade :?:

sorry for swearing in this post, but it needs to be done.

Holy fucking hell! that is absolutely nuts!! talk about Blockbuster! holy shit!!

shaq for finals MVP(when u make the finals  ).....great trade! (Y)

Sun Apr 29, 2007 6:45 pm

Nice trade!

It's a good trade for you. You needed experience.

But if you've just needed a scoring big guy, then the guy for you would be Dwight..

But experience is what you need.

Great trade and overall a great dynasty!

(Btw, I think the Howard-Nowitzki trade is more the trade of the century..)

Sun Apr 29, 2007 7:52 pm

Thnx for the comments guys i really think this is the combo that can lead me to a championsip P.S Utah Recap is done and about to be posted

Sun Apr 29, 2007 7:52 pm

Saturday 10th of February Detroit @ Utah

Preview
This is set to be a absolute pearler with both teams set to make a statement. Detroit come off a big 3 week rest and will be rearing to go. A big key for Utah is not to completely shut down Shaquille and Dirk because on previous from that is impossible but they will try and keep them under 20 which will be vital if they are to contest this match. But expect B.B Carp to continue his all star from as he is averaging 34.75 ppg in his last 4 games. This should overall be a ripper and 3PK’S prediction is Pistons win 87-79 in what is a tightly contested game with lots of scoring

Pistons starting 5
C- S. O’Neal
PF- D. Nowitzki
SF- J. Howard
SG- R. Hamilton
PG- C. Billups

Utah Starting 5
C- M. Okur
PF- C. Boozer
SF- A. Kirelinko
SG- A. Barros
PG- D. Williams

Summary
1st Quarter In the first Detroit came out rejuvenate after a long break with a serious point to prove. The Pistons where looking seriously like a Championship team as they went out early to lead 10-4. The pressure then began to mount on Utah’s interior as Detroit punished them inside scoring all of there first 12 points in the paint. But then Utah found a inspiration from rookie A. Barros as he jammed on Shaq, they took this and quickly hit back to trail just 10-14. But Detroit then tired Utah as they continued to bang bodies inside, this then lead to the inside out game beginning as new recruit Shaq drew a double then kicked out the dirk for an open three. But Utah made a great move as they drew too quick fouls on Shaq to leave him stranded on 3 fouls. Regardless of this the Pistons strolled to a demolishing 26-18 lead.

2nd Quarter In the 2nd Udonis and Jason came on for the 1st runs as a Piston but the early nerves quickly went away from Jason as he drilled a pass to Mr. Unconscious [ B.B Carpenter] for a triple. Jason then went to Haslem as he got to the Charity stripe where he was able to score his first points. The pistons then powered to a 34-22 lead. The pistons then Began to “school” them as they went up 38-22. But Utah where determined to make this a close one as they went transition after transition basket on Detroit to trail by just 8. But Nowitzki sharpened the lead back out to 13 points 50-37 by the half

Players at the half
Detroit  Dirk Nowitzki 20 points and 1 rebound
Utah  A. Kirelinko 10 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal

3rd Quarter In the second half Shaq became the vocal point as he went into double figures whilst injuring Mehmet Okur at the same time. Detroit then put the medal to the pedal thumping the Jazz and raking out to a 62-45 lead. They then began to run a triangle offence Billups to Shaq who drew a double team which allowed an easy basket for Hamilton, Howard but mainly Dirk. Detroit then began looking like there old blow out selves as they went up 73-52. They then trampled into the last winning 84-60 after a unbelievable quarter.

4th Quarter The last Quarter was simply garbage time as the game was already sealed barring a miracle. This was an opportunity for Haslem to show he was a gallant pick up but the serious show was the B.B Carp one as he found the bottom of the net on a tough three, but this wasn’t time for them to quit as they got back to 15 points after two minutes. The Pistons then began to lose grip as Utah came within 11. But Detroit didn’t despair as they kept the at at least 9 points. They then gave mourning a run in the post as he set the lead back out to 20. Although this was short lived as they went on to win 108-94.

surprise of the game
The surprise of the game was definitely Mourning’s return to form now that he had 3 former team-mates back as he scored 7 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, dished 3 assists and had 3 Blocks.

Pistons Debutants

O’Neal  In Shaquille’s First game he played a solid role with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks but this was the least to expect as he played very little game time due to foul trouble only 10 minutes.

Udonis Haslem  Udonis had a solid performance off the bench with 10 minutes also as he had 4 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists

Jason Williams  Jason was quiet with 4 points, 3 assists and 1 steal but expect bigger things from him

3PK’s Game breaker:
Chauncey Billups  Chauncey Was the game breaker obviously as he was the difference with his assists (which set up 31 points) and 12 points off his own. He largely was helped by the acquisition of Shaq to as he drew several double teams to create major miss matches as Shaq and Dirk where doubled. In total he’s numbers where 12 points, 2 rebounds, 15 assists and 1 steal

Notable performers
 Dirk Nowitzki 33 points and 3 rebounds
 B.B Carpenter once again ripped up the net with 27 points
 Youngster A. Barros continued a strong rookie battle with B.B scoring 16 points, grabbing 3 boards and crediting 3 assists.

Underperformer of the game
 Derek Fisher shot a woeful 3-10 from the field for 6 points and 2 assists

Player of the game  Chauncey Billups  12 points, 2 rebounds, 15 assists and 1 steal

Statistic Leaders
Points  Dirk Nowitzki 33, B.B Carpenter 27
Rebounds  Araujo 10, Mourning 9, Howard a notable 8
Assists  Billups 15, Williams 4, Haslem 4
Blocks  O’Neal 4, Mourning 3
Steals  Hamilton 3, Giricek 2

Shooting percentage
Pistons  55%
Utah  48%

3-pt shooting percentage
Detroit  46%
Utah  28%

Bench points
Detroit  39
Utah  25

Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:05 pm

J-Will needs some more action though. i love that guy!

oh man you are upto what i have been waing for the entire season! the allstar weekend!! dirk for all-star game mvp. bb carp for rookie challenge MVP. dirk or bb carp for 3-point champ. and maybe howard for dunk comp champ!!

i really cant wait!!!

Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:18 pm

nice trade, not to my favor but prolly to urs, at least u have a good center now, got rid of webber who just didnt look all that good for ya and picked up haslem, J-Will, very nice pick up, will b good off the bench.... hope these 3 go well in ya season, they seemed to have played alright in there debut for detroit, give J-Will more time tho lol (Y)

Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:18 pm

Nice win (Y) and nice return by Dirk and not a good debut by Shaq, j-will and haslem :|

Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:41 pm

U have to be fair on Shaq in 10 minutes he's numbers where off the hook average more then a point a minute and he also had 4 blocks and 7 rebounds in real game time he probably would've got a double-double if not possibly a triple-double but anyways thanx for the comments i think i have realised why i kept this dynasty going now and for those who where wondering i will have a massive All-Star weekend preview Tommorw and then through the week i will begin to play all the 4 events and keep you informed on how they're going :D

Mon Apr 30, 2007 1:39 am

damn! that trade was well- yeah! haha, nice trade on your behalf...hopefully that squad will get you to the playoffs and the championships!!!

Mon Apr 30, 2007 2:11 am

actually, the Shaq move might bring you a better future. if he retires, he brings you about 20M? I see that the new guys are still somewhat adjusting. hope they get into your system before the playoffs (Y)

Mon Apr 30, 2007 4:40 am

Interesting trade. Looks like you have the best roster in NBA history! If you were playing 82 games, you would win well over 75! Pistons for the title! (Looks like you have to remove Sheed from your sig)

Mon Apr 30, 2007 2:26 pm

Oh jesus, Dirk and Shaq should be an unstoppable inside/out combo that could get you to the finals alone.
