Nice recaps man, I'm going with Brandan Wright in draft prospects.

i think hibbert is a good center but not a good fit for your team, as i see the bulls as young and athletic and hibberts lack of mobility would probably slow down your team, although running the offense through him would work real well as you noted his great size and passing skills

Exactly what I was thinking. Players with speed are so dangerous in Live, while Hibbert is like a Zydrunas Ilgauskas type. Solid, but may slow me down.

i wouldnt take noah because he reminds me a little bit of tyrus thomas and i think thomas is more athletic and provides that little extra with his dunking ability and shot blockin as well, i just think noah is raw, undersized ans just not great at anything just good

Same here, Noah is like a more refined Tyrus. Since Tyrus will be at his level come next season, theres probably no point in going for two very similar players.

wright could be a nice fit down the line with his size and athletic ability, he can rebound and block but again as you noted in year one size can be a concern

If I can't get him stronger he will never contribute. He is quick for a big but he can't play SF, so the only matchup problems in my favour will come against big, slow bigs. I like Wrigth alot but I am really planning on just 2 seasons with this dynasty and IMO Wright can't really do a whle lot till he's 2 or 3 years in.

so in conclusion if you want a gator go for al as he can contribute right away i think he does alot of things well and if he can develop an offensive game like an elton brand that would really help the fans forget

I agree. If I only have one more season in this dynasty, I naturally am gonna need the most NBA ready player to do anything. I am struggling with this team since I can't score consistantly in the post (except with Luol Deng), and my major scoring threat is an undersized two that struggles defensively. Hell, I might even miss the playoffs.

My only concern with Horford is the fact that would leave my frontcourt really under sized, with no guys over 6"10 - Thomas, Ben, Horford and Sweetney. I probably won't resign Marcus Haislip (probably will ask for too much).

Thanks for the interest and your opinions, appreciate it. :)

Bulls Dropped In Overtime At MSG

    Bulls 114 | Knicks 121

The Bulls dropped their second game of a back to back series against the Knicks Monday night. Chicago held the lead for most of the game until four minutes to go in the final quarter, when ex Bulls center Eddy Curry began to heat up on the offensive end. Curry finished with 28 points, 7 of those coming in the final four minutes of the 4th. The Knick center also had by far his best rebounding game of the season - finishing with 20 boards while going head to head with All Star Ben Wallace. However, Luol Deng came to the rescue late, just 11 seconds after scoring the game tying points on a tough mid range fadeaway, Deng blocked Steve Francis' layup attempt that would of gave the Knicks the win. In overtime, the Knicks had their way with everyone on on the offensive end of the ball and easily scored on most possesions. Ben Gordon fired up 6 3's in the final 1:30 alone, trying to get the Bulls back in it, 5 of those 3's missed. Gordon finsihed with just 15 on 5-21 shooting, finishing 2nd on the team to Luol Deng's 30.

Sefolosha Misses Game Tying Three, Bulls Lose

    Bulls 100 | Celtics 103

Thabo Sefolosha had one of the best games of his young career against the Boston Celtics Wednesday night, finishing with 17 points on 6-11 shooting, and also added 4 rebounds. Sefolosha played just 15 minutes - entering the game for the first time halfway through the 3rd quarter, and immediately got hot, dropping point after point with an array of smooth dribble drives and jumpshots. However, he couldn't hit the most important game of the night. The Celtics took a 3 point lead with 10.4 seconds left in the game and the Bulls took a timeout. Sefolosha inbounded the ball to Ben Gordon, who hesitated for a moment, got a screen from PJ Brown and had a good look, but decided to pass up the shot to a wide open Sefolosha in the corner. Thabo took the shot just as time expired, but missed badly, barely hitting the rim. This is the second straight loss for the struggling Chicago Bulls, they look to win their next game which comes at home against lowly Atlanta Hawks.

Gordon Drops 28 On Hawks, Bulls Cruise To Win

    Hawks 91 | Bulls 103

Ben Gordon made shots early and often, finsihign with 28 points as his Chicago Bulls cruised to an easy win over the Atlanta Hawks and the United Center. Gordon's 18 first half points gave the Bulls a 19 point lead come the start of the 3rd quarter, and the Bulls never looked back. Point guard Kirk Hinrich also had a good game, finshing with 21 points and 9 assists, just missing out on a double double. Luol Deng struggled to score against arguably the most athletic player in the NBA, Josh Smith, finishing with just 12 points on 4-13 shooting. Atlanta got great production from their swingmen, as Joe Johnson had 24 points and Josh Smith added 20 of his own. Despite some great individual efforts for these Hawks, they lost yet another game - which is great news for one of the leagues best teams, the Phoenix Suns. The Suns own the Hawks first round draft pick, which comes in a draft featuring 2 of the best prospects of the last decade, Kevin Durant and Greg Oden.

Pistons Beat Bulls, Now Hold League's Best Record

    Bulls 91 | Pistons 107

The Detroit Pistons are now on top of the league, sitting at 32-8 after an easy win at home over the Chicago Bulls. Ben Wallace was welcomed with loud boo's from the Pistons crowd, however, 'Big Ben' had a fine game - finishing with 13 points and a season high 7 blocks to go along with 6 points and 3 assists. Chicago had trouble scoring on the Pistons tough defence, as just 4 Bulls broke double figures - two of them rookies. One of those rookies, undrafted Kelenna Azubuike who was aquired from the Golden State Warriors earlier this season, provided one of the most amazing plays of the season. Late in the fourth, Azubuike recieved the ball on the sideline and dribbled out to the top of the key. He then made a quick move by Chauncey Billups and came flying through the lane, finishing with a vicious jam that left the rim shaking and both teams benches standing, with the Pistons crowd jumping in awe. However, that was the only highlight from the Bulls tough loss, as they drop their 3rd game of the week.

Man, I haven't visited the dynasty section in a while because I was struck with depression after I reformatted my computer and couldn't find my back up saved files, but I just wanted to pop by.

Sick dunk by Azubuike. He is my sex.

Bulls Blow Out Hawks Behind Big Game From Thomas

    Bulls 116 | Hawks 94

The Chicago Bulls beat the Atlanta Hawks by a large margin, embarrasing the struggling Hawks on their home floor. Rookie Tyrus Thomas had a monster game for the surging Bulls, dropping 16 points, 18 rebounds and 3 blocks in 35 minutes of action. Thomas wowed the crowd with numerous athletic dunks and blocks, including one alley oop that he put down over two helpless defenders. "I think Tyrus is really proving why he was picked so high. He is raw as they come but to still be putting up numbers like that, it just shows what he can become in a few years time. It's a scary thought, actually" Bulls' head coach Scott Skiles said of the fan favorite rookies' performance. Other notable performances in the game for Chicago included Ben Gordon's 21, Kirk Hinrich's 16 and Luol Deng's 15 points. Atlanta was once again led by star shooting guard Joe Johnson, but he had little help outside of a 13 point effort from sophomore Marvin Williams. Johnson finished with a game high 34 points in 43 minutes of playing time.

Gordon Comes Up Big Late, Bulls Deny Nuggets

    Nuggets 102 | Bulls 109

Ben Gordon scored 29 points at home against the Nuggets, but it was his final 7 that got his Chicago Bulls the win. Both teams went bucket for bucket, keeping the scored tied for over 5 minutes with neither team able to pull away. However, with just 1:12 to go in the fourth, Gordon began to take over. Gordon scored 7 straight points - the final 7 points of the game from either team, including a 3 during a clutch moment to get the run started. The undersized shooting guard is well known for his clutch ability and has sunk several teams already this season with his late game heroics. Carmelo Anthony, also known as a clutch performer, congratulated Gordon on his outburst. "He's a tremendous talent. At his size, he's so strong and quick, he's hard to stop. When he's on, he's as great a scorer as anyone in the league. I knew we had to answer him on the offensive end because no one can stop Ben late in games. Unfortunately we couldn't do that and we came away with a loss" Anthony said of Gordon. The Bulls look to grab their third straight win as they take on the Charlotte Bobcats next at the United Center.

Bulls Take Care Of Business At Home, Drop Bobcats

    Bobcats 107 | Bulls 115

A 39 point effort during the fourth quarter for the Bulls handed them their third straight win as they beat the Charlotte Bobcats 115-107. Ben Gordon once again led the way for Chicago with 24 points, followed by Deng and Tyrus' 17 each. Thomas also added 9 rebounds and 4 blocks in the game, playing 26 minutes. Thomas may be starting due the Bulls next game due to a scary injury to starting power forward PJ Brown. Brown was kneed in the shoulder by Bobcats forward Emeka Okafor after he slipped on a wet area on the court. Bulls staff said after the game that PJ would be able to play the Bulls next game, but suggested sitting him out for a few days to make sure he doesn't re-injure the shoulder. With Tyrus Thomas stringing together some very impressive performances over the last few weeks, he seems to be the frontrunner for the temporary starting job, ahead of Nocioni, Haislip and Mike Sweetney. The Bobcats were led by Raymond Felton and Emeka Okafor, but their bench couldn't give enough to get the team the win. Rookie Adam Morrison added 18 points and Gerald Wallace finished with 11.

Hinrich Narrowly Misses Triple Double In Win

    Celtics 96 | Bulls 102

Kirk Hinrich starred for the Chicago Bulls in Saturday nights win over the Boston Celtics, narrowly missing a triple double while dropping 22 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists on a spectacular 7-13 shooting display. The Celtics were lead by fine performances from Paul Pierce, Sebastian Telfair and Al Jefferson, but it wasn't enough to get the win. Rookie Tyrus Thomas made the first start of his young career, but only played 20 minutes - less than he usually gets when coming of the bench. Thomas definately did not dissapoint however, putting up 12 points, 5 boards and 2 blocks, destroying fellow rookie Leon Powe time and time again. Along with the impressive performances by Hinrich and Thomas, 'unsung hero' Luol Deng added a team high 24 points, while Ben Gordon finished with 13 and Ben Wallace chipped in with 12 of his own. The Bulls cruised on to their 4 straight win with relative ease, closing out January on a high note with the win. With the recent hot streak, Chicago now sits at 23-19, good for 4th in the Eastern Conference.

Wow, four wins in a row. Rolling high right now.

Some great highlight dunks there too.

Are you going to be releasing those converted jerseys (if you can get permission?). Because I'm probably just going to stick with 05 and play 07 just for the Street version.

Just past the half-way point of the season and you are over .500 (Y)

I think you are about an 90-95 percent chance of making the playoffs at the moment. Good that you are in the East, which gives you a much better chance. Very good team play, and that is what will take you deep into the playoffs. Bulls for 06-07 champs!

Love your picks!
Little notice: you always (or almost) grab 100+ points; but instead in the reality the teams often score less points (80-90). Maybe reduce the quarter length?

Sorry for my english, a little poor

I have a question, Shannon.
What aiact are you using? Everytime wehn I play 05 the cpu team always gives the ball it to the best shooter and the shoot a 3 with 22 seconds on the shotclock.
For example, against the Heat, Rasual Butler dropped like 30 points on me, just with threes.

Yep, that was the AIACT with SF dominance. I recommend the original MM07 aiact, very realistic. Thanks for the interest man.

k-durant, I'll probably leave the quarter length like that. I just gotta learn how to control the game a little better.

jonthefon, Sorry man I can't release work that isn't mine. I guess after the JUMP 07 patch is done I might be able to get the BMPs off Lean and put them into 05 files then send them back to him and he can release them.

Scoop, Yeah, I think I have a pretty good record. The East aren't doing to well and I'm starting to get a better feel for his team.

Sacke12, Thanks for your continued interest, great to see your enjoying it.

Yeah, that SF domination was painful. I put Dirk on Rashard Lewis when using that aiact and he STILL managed to score 60 with 15 threes.

Still, Seushiro's done wonderfully well.

Yeah, I'll wait and hopefully Lean can release those jerseys...although CJU is coming around the corner (I think), I have Arget's jerseys and Jao converted some of Conrad 07 ones over...too much of a good thing :P

    Around the Association - January

The Bulls began to heat up through the first month of the new year, posting an 11-5 record which bumped the team up to 4th in the Eastern Conference. Chicago was lead by the young nucleus of Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon and Luol Deng for the most part, but rookies Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefolosha didn't fail to impress either. With the hot streak through January, the Bulls look to finish on a high note before the All Star break, a break that may feature some players from this young Bulls team. Tyrus Thomas has publically said he would like to participate in the slam dunk contest, which comes as good news to Bulls fans around the globe that are familiar with the high flying rookies' ability to wow the crowd, home or away.

On the business side of things, no trades or signings seem to be in the works. GM John Paxson said earlier in the week he was very happy with the teams recent performances and also loved the way his new players were playing. The two "newly" aqcuired players - guard Kelenna Azubuike and forward Marcus Haislip said they were enjoying playing for the Bulls and living in the city of Chicago. "Pax gave me a chance before the season, holding those free agent games. That gave me a chance to show my stuff, and that's what I did. Living overseas and playing basketball away from your family is a hard thing to do, so I thank John for bringing me back over to my home country. It's great to be back and I think I have shown the league I deserve to be here. I owe it all to Pax and his staff." Haislip said during a recent prss conference.

Bulls management recently sent scouts to watch two players on the teams list of draft day targets, this time focusing on the perimeter. Thaddeus Young of Georgia Tech and Julian Wright of Kansas. Bulls scouts said they were impressed by both of the young stars, citing Wrights mobility and passing skill, while Young's shooting ability and athleticism were a hot topic amongst management this week. Because the Bulls own the Knicks pick, they will have two first round selections. The Knicks record currently stands at 18-25, which means the Knicks pick currently sits at the 11th spot.

Woah just spotted this dynasty very nice presentation i commend you (Y)
question: How did you get the Knicks pick, I know in real life the Bulls have itm but how did you get it in the game? Is part of the roster update or something? (i don't knwo how these patches work)
anyways great job, but if your team is only around .500 I would consider making a move so that you can make a deep run
