thanks, for those last 6 games, Duncan managed to score at least 50+ points and 10+ or 15+ rebounds to average a double-double and get him in the #1 spot for the MVP Voting.

GAME RECAP

San Antonio took control of the series by beating the Warriors in Game 1. San Antonio was ready and this is what they've been waiting for this whole season. Tim Duncan who is one of the candidates for the MVP award, wants another MVP award and this other one is the NBA Finals one, he belives by the way the Spurs played today he belives that they can reach the Finals and beat their opponets, no matter who it is, Pistons, Heat or the Cavs. The Warriors battled out there the whole night but didnt have enough. Warriors didnt have anybody down low that can guard Duncan. Duncan was absolutely amazing out there, 20/20. Actually he had 30+ pts and 20 rebounds. Baron Davis was the high point man for the Warriors with 24 pts. Spurs will try and close out the series in Game 2, when they take on the Warriors at the Oakland Arena.

GAME RECAP

Just like it was expected, San Antonio won the series by defeating the Golden State Warriors moments ago. The Warriors had a bad series or is it just because San Antonio outplayed them. Duncan and the Spurs are now 30-1 with the season record. They shot 60% from the field as the arriors shot 43% and 23% from beyond the arc. San Antonio really played well and they earned it. Everytime DUncan touched the ball the crowd booed him but he just kept on firing. The player of the game award went to Tony Parker with 24 pts, and dishing out 9 assists. Spurs will have to wait a couple more hours to see if they're either facing the Rockets or the Mavs in the Western Semi-Finals.
