yeah I am sorry Malfa, your CF was tilted up because the picture you gave had more of your chin and it got smaller when you moved up your face, you get what I am saying? If you are not happy, send me a more straight foward picture with NO TWIST TO THE LEFT/RIGHT OF THE HEAD AND NO UP/DOWN TILT

Part 2 – Montgomery Returns!!!

With 4 days left of training camp, Mike Montgomery walked into training camp followed by two youngsters, one Black and one Asian. The owner of the Golden State Warriors stared at them. The Black boy didn’t seem too tall, around 6’3’’ or something, and the Asian kid was even shorter.

“Who the hell are these brats?” though the owner, “I though Mike was going to bring us some basketball players that will save the franchise somehow. God…”
“Hey! How you doing, you guys missed me? I tell you I’ve haven’t been slacking off! Just happy to be back so soon, don’t envy Mullin, he’s got to go to like Australia and those Asian lands”. Montgomery proclaimed to the owner. “Now, let me introduce these kids. This his Jing Xu, he plays Ultimate Frisbee for the University of Massachusetts, and this one is Desmond Jackson, he is a early graduate from high school, one of the best players in Tennessee.”
“OK… so you brought me a Frisbee thrower and a early high school graduate? What do you expect them to do; they will be playing against Kevin Garnett, Shaq O’Neal, LeBron James, Yao Ming and the stars, if we have people like this on our team, we’ll be lucky to break double digits!” The owner screamed at Montgomery.
“Why don’t you them workout and then form a conclusion? I would not have chosen them if it were not for their individual skills,” replied Montgomery, “trust me, you wont be disappointed.”

Jing Xu played middle school basketball, and was one of the most accurate shooter in his school, but as he moved onto high school he looked to alternative sports. His reason for quitting basketball: he said he was too short. However at Amherst high school his decision for less popular sports was a good decision as he ran for the state champions Amherst Hurricanes XC and played Ultimate Frisbee for the national champions Amherst as well. Despite not being the star, he became a role player, the one who would make a diving catch to fire his team up, the leader that somehow is always hidden in the dark.

During his first formal “workout” for the Warriors, Xu managed to awe the owner. Despite being only 5’8’’, he showed pretty good foot speed and seemed to have never lost his accurate jump shot. Due to the lack of staff and lack of other players however, Montgomery and the owner didn’t see much of his defense, but Montgomery assured the owner that Xu is a player who will never let down until his has taken the ball from his man.

Desmond Jackson, he should be no stranger to the game of basketball as he grew up breathing it. He starred on his team and AAU club, proving himself to be one of the best in Memphis, and even the state of Tennessee. Due to hard studies, he also managed to earn a High School diploma in only 3 years, allowing him to graduate from school. Due to the special situation with the Warriors, the league somehow has allowed him to join the team.

In his workout, Jackson showed an all-around game, he could dunk, shoot, dribble, and do it all. His quick step and ripped body glided ever so smoothly to the hoop and every move and several times left Montgomery and the owner gaping with awe. He will most likely be a starter from the looks of how he performed.

“So, what do you think?” asked Montgomery after the two had finished their workouts. “I know they might not be the best, but we’ve got leadership and brutal talent already. Not to be optimistic, but I actually think we have a shot at perhaps doing something without those rich bastards”.
“I don’t know,” replied the owner, “but without the guarantee of high payroll, these kids will just simply be living their dream and play their hearts out, hell they may even do some things better. But… too early to jump to conclusions! I just hope Mullin and the other guys get back soon, we don’t have much time left in training camp; the season is sneaking up on us.”
