Yes, Brad has a point. The pictures are a nice touch to the game, but maybe you should try to minimize the size or put them in a thumbnail format.

It can get pretty annoying when you scroll down and suddenly the screen moves and you lose track of what you were reading because of some pictures loading.

Thanks, yeah i was glad that i had someone decent to help out AK47 and Okur on the boards. Yeah I'm loving CJ Miles

Yeah AK47 has been producing sweet games for me this season... glad you like the pic... and at the quote, i was trying to be funny

I'm glad the lakers suck... i love the birdie scores, it's a great invention.. yeah AK and Okur are playing well... i think CJ Miles is doing well too... he isnt worth a (N) .. and leave me alone about Lorinza

C.J. Miles also won the highschool shootout with Webster too. It sure as hell is starting to look like C.J. Miles was the steal of the draft.

Yea it was getting close and i was like what? but i got the win
Yeah CJ Miles is a great shooter.. he is looking very stealistic..

Yeah Randolph was the reason my team won... i cant wait till Deron comes back

Minnesota Timberwolves travel to Utah to play against the Jazz

Image

The Jazz play their toughest game in the past week today against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Starting Line-Ups

Image

Key Match-Up

Rashard McCants vs. CJ Miles

Which of these exciting rookies will prevail tonight?

1st Quarter

The Jazz started the game strongly but they did not capitalise on the offensive end which kept the Timberwolves in the game. Things began to look bad for the Jazz as Kevin Garnett began dominating on both ends of the court and Andrei Kirilenko got into foul trouble. The Wolves looked like they had this quarter in the bag but a Ron Mercer inspired comeback, the Jazz regained the lead after Okur made an impossible shot plus the and 1. The Jazz were lucky to end up with the lead at the quarter break, but kind of deserved it as the end of quarter scores were 20-19.

2nd Quarter

The quarter started with a Jazz lay-up then Wally Sczerbiak hit a 3 pointer but CJ Miles answered back with a 3 of his own but then on the next play KG hit the alley-oop slam. The Wolves started to play some consistent basketball as the Jazz began to break down on the offensive end, taking stupid shots and not passing well. AK47 tried to inspire some comebacks but McCants was on fire on the offensive end. The Jazz made some defensive stops and Palacio actually made a lay-up which evened up the scores with 2 minutes left in the half. Greg Ostertag rejected Kevin Garnett on the fast break and then made a lay-up on the other end to give back the lead to the Jazz. Ostertag and Mercer continued their strong play but the Wolves made a mini-comeback towards the end of the quarter as the scores at the end of the quarter became 46-43.

Key Players at the Half

Kevin Garnett and Andrei Kirilenko

3rd Quarter

Jerry Sloan decided to start Ron Mercer over CJ Miles in the 3rd quarter because Ron Mercer was having a great game and CJ Miles was in foul trouble and he'll probably be needed later in the game. Both teams came out strong in this quarter then Carlos Boozer made a shot over Kevin Garnett which placed KG into some foul trouble and this might hurt the Timberwolves, all the Jazz need to do is exploit the Wolves non-confidence and they might win. The Jazz actually did start to play some awesome offence but were absolutely crap on defence and on the boards, giving away too many second chances for the other team. The Jazz continued the crapiness and their lead was decreased to 2 points. Then AK47 went on a scoring rampage to put the lead back to 10 points but the quarter ended with the Jazz leading only by 77-71.

4th Quarter

The Jazz made more mistakes at the start of the quarter and the Wolves cut the deficit down to 1 points then McCants scored a lay-up and the Wolves took the lead. The Jazz made an 8-2 run to grab a 5 point lead and so the Wolves but back on Kevin Garnett but that didn't bother the Jazz much as they continued their run, making it a 14-2 run. Andrei Kirilenko was placed on the bench and the Jazz kind of lost their run but they still held on to their 10 point lead. The Jazz lead was cut to 5 points but a Jarron Collins fastbreak lay-up and the push he received from McCants and the ball that went in and the and 1 that he missed, pretty much sealed the game for the Jazz as the Timberwolves began to foul the opposition. AK47 nailed a 3 pointer with 22 seconds left and that was the win for the Jazz, as the Jazz won 112-97.

Player of the Game

Andrei Kirilenko
He managed to score 28 points in the 2nd half and end up with a double-double with 11 steals.

Andrei dunks it again
Wally Sczerbiak makes the shot after getting hit by Ron Mercer
Ron Mercer dunks it over McCants
CJ Miles with his only highlight of the match with a dunk on the fastbreak
Jarron Collins possibly makes the play of his career.. if he scored the and 1
Ron Mercer scores over Wally..
Ostertag blocks Garnett who was on the fast break.

Robert Skrnjug was happy with the way Andrei Kirilenko, Mehmet Okur and Ron Mercer played. He was also pleased how the defence managed to keep Kevin Garnett to 13 and 8 but he wasn't pleased with the overall defence, but was glad they got the win. The Injury staff also announced that Carlos Boozer has fully recovered from his injury. This is the 3rd victory in a row for the Jazz, they also play another 4 home games until they go on a 5 game road trip.

Jugs: Well, i'll most likely sim either 2,3 or 4 games then play an away game then sim another 2 away games then play some more to end the month...... School is in the way so i'll have to get some simming done.

I had a headache the whole game so you better fucking read this, Jugs.

Looks like it was tough overall, but you managed to put them away in the fourth thanks to Kirilenko. Lmao at his double double of 37 points and 11 steals (although with Andrei's defensive capapbilities in real life it doesn't seem very unrealistic). He better be an MVP candidate/ player of the month or I'm going to be pissed.

P.S. Mercer is teh r0x0r!

Utah Jazz vs. Seattle Supersonics

The 1st quarter was Seattle's finest quarter of the year, outscoring the Jazz 40 to 21. The 2nd quarter was quite even as the Jazz only regained 3 points of the Sonic's lead. The 3rd quarter saw the Jazz take off another 11 points off the lead as Andrei Kirilenko began to fire up but they were shut down by Rashard Lewis in the 4th quarter as the Sonics scored 22 to 8 in the last quarter to win 95 to 76. Player of the game was Rashard Lewis with 30 points and 7 rebounds. Ray Allen also scored 29 points. Okur was once again good for the Jazz with a double-double, same with AK47.

Utah Jazz vs. Portland Trailblazers

The 1st quarter belonged to the Trailblazers as it looked like the Jazz were heading for their 3rd loss in a row but the Jazz turned it around in the 2nd quarter as the half ended 44-42 in favour of the Blazers. The 2nd half belonged to the Jazz as they rallied to a 97-80 point win. Mehmet Okur was player of the game with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Carlos Boozer managed only 3 points but grabbed 17 rebounds. AK47 managed only 15 and Humphries scored 11 off the bench.

Robert Skrnjug announced that Mehmet Okur sustained a bruised elbow and will be playing with that bruised elbow. He also announced the return of Devin Brown to the line-up. Deron Williams was announced back into the team but he'll be carrying a minor knee injury for a few days.

Well, there's some updates... i might be playing a game now.. (most likely not (N) ) with a semi-healthy line-up , Jugs.

Guys... I think I have to stop this dynasty... when I simulate to the end of December.. the game crashes and it says error from Player.dbf from the workingdb folder or something (N) so that means i did something wrong even though i only .dbf signed.. so I have no idea what went wrong... So i'll just like to say thank you to all the guys who read and followed this dynasty.. hopefully your posts weren't meant to be spams but they weren meant to be supporting/helpful posts (Y) ...

If I have enough support, i might make a Denver Nuggets/Toronto Raptors/Milwaukee Bucks or Boston Celtics or Atlanta Hawks or Portland Trailblazers or New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets dynasty... depends if you guys like my dynasty style...

tough break....definitely a dbf-editing related error....I had a couple of those before my dynasty got underway....don't use Excel to edit dbf this year as it causes the crashes....be very careful with dbf-editing....

Yeah, it really sucks when a dynasty crashes after you have got off to a good start. cocbee's right, you should always backup the dynasty before editing the .dbf-s.
