Cleveland vs Washington

This is Mike Brown, checking in after the home Washington game.
THe main story was Larry Hughes. People were saying he wouldnt feel good playing today, and wouldnt perform, but he proved them wrong, not by scoring alot, but by be very efficient and played awesome defensively.

LeBron got another triple double to continue what would be one of the best starts a player has ever had. Hes averaging almost a triple double for the season, I just hope he can keep it up.

Donyell Marshall wasnt feel too great before the game, he still wanted to play but suggested he come off the bench. This game Anderson Varejao alot of time to prove himself, and he did just that.

We took control over the game, not giving Washington one uncontested shot.
I dont know what else I can say. We played one of the best games a team could possibly play. Not just defensively, but offensively. We were all over them.

We travel to Philadelphia, to play a tough team who are currently 9-1.

Peace, Mike Brown.

Superstar, and Ive got fatigue on 40 or 45, and some sliders are lowered, eg, steals-10, and the shooting ones.

Ive played another few games, but Im changing the recap style a little bit, so they wont be updated for a day, or maybe even tonight!

Nice win, like the pics as usual, Lebron is playing great, keep it up.

Haha! Young 'Bron too good!!
And that's a lazy recap right?! Haha.. 8-)

Love the Boxscore of your last game. How did you that? I mean, winning by 50 pts in Superstar level, I feel like a newbie... What sliders do you use? Just curious...

Cu :)

Yeh I feel pretty newbie I can barely win a game in Superstar Level! Your play of the game videos are really sweet and I hope you can put more of those out... Keep it up and I hope to see your Dynasty as a submission to the Birdie Board! (plug plug) - Honor Glow

your stats are pretty realistic. I don't know people keep complaining about the offensive rebounds.. yours are kinda realistic.

[BOXSCORE]

Boy was this a tough game.
We had 2 days to rest up after our home blowout win against Washington, and we looked over rested.
The Magic though, looked ready to pounce, and we didnt expect it.
They came out with an 11-2 run. But after I called a timeout and rallied the troops. We did the exact same thing to them. And started to look in control.

The first half was tightly contested, with LeBron and Larry leading the way for us Cavs, whilst second year men, Nelson and Howard lead Orlando.
At the half we lead by 1, and we definitely wanted to come out of the lockers firing, and we did exactly that, taking a 11 point lead into the fourth.

Orlando wasnt done. They rallied all throughout the 4th, to cut the deficit to 3 points with the ball in the hands with 35 seconds left. Steve Francis drove and looked as though to take the shot, but through it high to Dwight who slammed it in for the wicked 2 pointer.
On the other end, the Cavs inbounded the ball but under the pressure of Francis, it bounced off Ilgauskas foot, Orlando timeout.
Of course they gave it to Francis and he called the iso against the taller LeBron. He waited until 6 seconds left before trying to pass LeBron, but failed and only got a half open look at a 3. He launched it, and the arena went silent, only to hear the rattle of the rim after it bounced off.
The crowd went nuts and LeBron was flexing his muscle.
We win again taking us to 7-2.

Shit man this is Crazy, the presentation is so professional, the pics are so great quality, Im lovin it :headbang:

I like those little Team logos, if you wanted to make it even a bit better you should make clicking on those logos take the viewer to the boxscores.

Shit dude keep it up im really enjoying this one (Y)

Sun Nov 06, 2005 8:14 pm

Thanks man (Y) :D

I think I gotta turn the offensive boards down, for both teams. Steals are already low, maybe turn em lower. And I also got to make it harder....although I have played 3 more games and have all been tightly contested...I wont say who won.
But yeh, keep posting ur comments or watever, I will do 2 game updates maybe 3 tommorow (Y)

Man, I love this dynasty, keep it up.
I always love the .gif's, because they tell you even more about the kind of game it was than the pics.

Next time could you post you renewed sliders then? I'm 7-2 too and it's getting a little easy at Superstar (never thought I'd say that).

Mon Nov 07, 2005 1:27 am

nice dynasty, nice back to back wins :D

Mon Nov 07, 2005 2:16 am

yah..i think you do have to tone down the offensive boards...Lebron got lk 8 offensive boards and only 5 defensive boards. Monster numbers my LeBron. That dwight howard alley-oop pic looks nasty (Y)

Mon Nov 07, 2005 4:22 am

Dunks, dunks and more dunks!
This is Coach Brown checking in after our game in Philly. The Philly 5 werent to be taken lightly.
Their starting 5 not only were all in double digits, but 4 of them had 20+, combining for 113 of their 120 scoring. Unbelievable, I know.
We werent doing too badly either, having all of our starting 5 in double figures, 3 getting 20+.

The game was all offence, fast breaks, dunks and 25 steals for both teams. It was excited to watch, but I was dissappointed we couldnt produce better defence.

I thought we had the game, there was 1.1 seconds left, with us up by 3. But Kyle Korver managed to hit the game tying 3 to send it to OT.
Where yet again, the period was full of offence.
Philly, through AIs clutch play and Webbers aggression, managed to pull out the come from behind win by 3.

We were disappointed, but not a whole lot. We were still 7-3. One of the best in the East.

Nate Robsinson 0 points :x :( . Tough loss, although it's good to see the Sixers players play so good, now lets see it happen in real life 8-). Keep up the good work.

Mon Nov 07, 2005 4:24 pm

nice iverson vid

Mon Nov 07, 2005 5:59 pm

Oh wow ... The Sixers really played well. Four players with over 20+ That's crazy. Of course Lebron did well despite the loss. I see your turnin him in a Oscar Robertson player with those triple doubles

Nice video of course and photos. Keep up tha work Z.

Coach Brown checking in.
After our current defeat to Philly, I decided we needed to train hard. Not cause we lost to them, but because we let them score so much.
I wanted to hold Boston, who is more of an offensive team, to less than 100. Mission accomplished.
Next I wanted to get our perimeter game and ball spreading going. That was also done good.
Then I wanted to win the game. That too was done, but not so easily.

We started off great leading at the first break by 6, looking pretty good offensively, and same with defense.
In the second, we let up a bit on our offense, but again we held them to an average score, and keeping the 3 point lead into the half

We opened up the third with a great 22-8 streak, but towards the end let them score 15-11. But we were looking good, with a 13 point lead, whilst keeping them at a good score of 71.

The guys wanted to control the flow of the game in the 4th, but a major problem arose. After Ilgauskas blocked a shot from Dan Dickau and then on the other end tried to dunk the ball, he appeared to have sprained his shooting hand wrist. We dont know the full extent yet, but he is currently getting X-Rays.
This hit us, and hard.
We seemed to have lost all inside game, and our defense wasnt as normal either.
They were making a charge, and with only 1minute left, they came within 5.
The ball went to Jones in the corner, and got kicked from him to Donyell to Hughes, right around to LeBron in the opposite corner, who rose over Pierce with the hand in his face, and took a fadeaway 3, which bounced off the ring as high as the shot clock, and looked from the angle I was looking as though it would miss, but it landed back on the rim and went in.
The celtics didnt get closer than 3 points for the rest of the game, and we just held on for the win.

The Ilgauskas injury update will be announced as soon as we find out, I really hope its not bad.....

Ilgauskas tells Dickau to get out of his house....just before he leaves the house with an injury

Scans came back negative on Ilgauskas' wrist. But he will still be feeling it for 3 days or so.
He will be able to play, but the injury will effect is game and minutes.

"The good news about this, is that AV, Anderson and James will get extended minutes, and hopefully help in the long run.
I dont plan on playing Z for too much of the games, because doing so will only make things worse, and we definitely dont need that." Coach M. Brown.

Good win, keep up the good work. Is it just me? Or did you only get 3 points from your bench with Ira Newble?
