Andersen Agrees to Sign with the Timberwolves
• Posted: December 16, 2011 8:22 AM EDT

MINNESOTA -- Earlier this morning, the Timberwolves has just announced that they had signed Chris Andersen or commonly known as "The Birdman" to a $480K for 1 Year. With the Timberwolves lacking one more true Center in their roster, they add Andersen for them to have more presence on the defensive end on the floor when Enes Kanter would be sitting on the bench. Andersen is uniting again with Head Coach George Karl whom he played for during his tenure with the Denver Nuggets. Karl said "It's good to have Chris here in Minnesota, he's a perfect fit for us. He can rebound and block shots, Kanter and Chris are very much same type of player as they block shots and play defense hard, but Kanter is a bit talented than Andersen with Kanter's style of play in the low block and ability to make mid-range shots. But we already have offensive threats in this roster, but what we need more is a defensive threat and our bigmen are the answer to that."

The 33 Year Old Andersen gladly accepted the offer by the Timberwolves as he didn't think twice of signing with the team. Andersen said on his Twitter page, "The Birdman" is ready to soar once more!". Andersen would be expected to play his first game as a Timberwolve tomorrow night as they face the Miami Heat.

Timberwolves land Lawson and Mozgov via Trade with Nuggets

Timberwolves Land Ty Lawson & Timofey Mozgov
• Posted: December 16, 2011 10:33 AM EDT

MINNESOTA -- Just hours after the Timberwolves signed former Denver Nuggets Chris Andersen to a 1 Year Deal worth $480K the Timberwolves yet again add 2 more Denver Nuggets players to the roster. The Minnesota Timberwolves offered Luke Ridnour and Wayne Ellington plus a 2012 First Round Pick for the guy who demanded a trade to the Denver Nuggets organization, Ty Lawson and Big man Timofey Mozgov. Lawson's agent said that Lawson was happy with the trade, and one main thing is that he is going to play once again for Coach George Karl whom he played for last season during Karl's tenure with Denver Nuggets. Yet again, the Timberwolves add another big man to their roster, another defensive minded guy and offensively skilled Timofey Mozgov. Karl said, "It really seems that my good 'ol boys are slowly coming back to me."

Ty Lawson described his recent relationship with the Denver Nuggets as "The Most Awful Relationship" and just last week that Lawson demanded a trade to the Nuggets' organization and the Nuggets were looking for the best offers for Lawson. The Oklahoma City Thunder was also interested in Lawson but the Nuggets accepted the Timberwolves offer. Also the Timberwolves got rid of Wayne Ellington's crappy contract for a 7'1 Center and Ridnour's for a more promising young Point Guard who is used to George Karl's system. Ridnour admitted that he was struggling to Coach Karl's system of play. The Nuggets would likely get someone on draft night to complement Derrick Williams who is having a great start to his career and Delonte West who has been starting for the Nuggets since he signed with them last August.

Signed him in the free agent pool? Well, Lawson was demanding a trade a week ago in my schedule in 2K and then right after my game against Toronto i saw that the Nuggets are looking to move Lawson for the best offer. And i don't like Ridnour so i tried for Robinson at first but i picked Lawson who's morale is "Fed Up" with the Nuggets. :|
Valdis wrote:They accepted this or you used trade override?

They accepted it, they didn't think twice. :|

Yeah, i killed the Nuggets in half  I hope guys you would still support me with this one.

Don't you think adding a First rounder would do? along those 2 no bodies for Lawson and Mozgov? If yes, i would re-edit the trade.

The Minnesota Timbernuggets

In 2009, Andersen did agree to a 5 year contract, so the free agency is a little bit of a shock unless there was a player or team option. But I don't mind, I think the Wolves probably need him more anyway.

Re: COTNE S01 • Nuggets-Wolves Trade Fix • The Birdman!

Postby KidJustin on Fri Jul 29, 2011 12:40 am

eh, i guess its okay....i would have not taken mozgov, but i guess its okay

btw, just because i dont like a trade u make doesnt mean i will stop following or anything...i mean Cruzerr took Blake FREAKIN' Griffin away from the Clippers for old man Jamison....but i still follow him

...so each their own...im just making a comment based on my opinion

....also Ty might takes some of Rubio's minutes...
or Rubio will play more and ruin Ty's young career
