Mavs4Life, Well, he's shooting very efficient in three-point land.

Thierry •, He's just keep jacking shots! But I can't stop either, whenever I face the Spurs, Manu always went berserk

Larvae, Yes he did. :)

Valdis, Let's hope for the MVP award too man!

KidJustin, Okay that's good to hear man, give me few days to send some infos about the Clippers, the last time I checked, they are already leading the West.

Dmastawwe, They are mediocre, but I can't managed to beat them :(

ThreePoint, Thanks man

Jhiane, :headbang:

George7, A tough news about Chicago is, Marcus Thornton is injured and done for the season (N)

Another recap that is pure recaps, sorry, too lazy to write  After Paul's poor game against us, he's morale is already getting low, the Hornets is sure sucking atm. I thought about getting him? What do you guys think?

Get CP3 and you will get bored. Anyways how did you removed the player indicator during the replays?

Cp3 no. I'd rather see you with Nash if you want to trade for another All-Star to pair w/ Dwight

Larvae, That overrated Joe Johnson is hard to stop :shake:

dare, I am bored with Nelson! I want a PG who can slash through the defense and make plays, and CP3 is just the perfect example. As for that, I think KidJustin gave me gamedata file which will remove the replay indicator, I'll check it and PM it to you.

KidJustin, My starting SF is Jordan Hamilton, but he's currently injured right now for 1-2 weeks, I hate Turkoglu, Clark is even better  So I decided to put Q-Rich right there, he's effective filling the void so far (Y)

qfrmcpt310, Thanks for the suggestion, Nash is a good option too, might check it out soon!

He refused to sign with the Suns. The Nets picked him up in free agency :)

[22-6] Blue & White Ignite | Trade!

Postby Justine. on Fri Aug 26, 2011 10:50 am

Magic acquired Granger from Pacers in exchange for Nelson and Turkoglu

    Image Image Image

The Orlando Magic announced today that they had send their long-term guard Jameer Nelson and disgruntled
Hedo Turkoglu to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for All-Star forward Danny Granger.

Since the off-season, Magic had been searching for a team that could receive Nelson, and they have found Indiana
who's been in dire need of a point guard. The 29-year old guard is averaging career-high numbers in terms of points,
assists and steals but he's also leading the league by turnovers made, 3.5. His shooting percentages also is way off
compared to past seasons. Nelson could either take the starting spot or play behind Darren Collison in Indiana.
While in the case of Turkoglu, he requested a immediate trade after the rookie Jordan Hamilton shows early potential
and took Turkoglu's starting job. He averaged just 16.7 minutes of playing time, a career-low and producing just
4.7 points for Orlando. Magic is needing some true and pure scorer to pair with Dwight Howard to keep him in Orlando,
and they have found this type of player in the form of Danny Granger, the All-Star forward stated early in the season
that he wants to be on a contender team and he wants to win. He's currently averaging 18.4 points and can really
    improve the Magic's offense.

The Magic will also send their benchwarmer Chris Duhon to the Pacers. Granger will don the #10 jersey for the Magic.

    ----

Projected starting lineup of Orlando Magic:
    G - Gilbert Arenas
    G - Tony Allen
    F - Danny Granger
    F - Kenyon Martin
    C - Dwight Howard

Projected starting lineup of Indiana Pacers:
    G - Jameer Nelson
    G - Brandon Rush
    F - Hedo Turkoglu
    F - Zach Randolph
    C - Roy Hibbert

I'm not so sure about this. You should've tried to unload Arenas instead of Nelson. I haven't checked here often, but it looks like Nelson is doing pretty good here. Plus, I don't think Danny Granger is that good. His numbers aren't as great as they were a couple years ago.

What's worse, is that Nelson is being forced to play the 1 and the 4 in Indiana!

Oops, corrected  Nelson's FG is really mediocre. Iirc, he's shooting just 38% and his 3pt shooting is in 30 something too. Arenas contract + Hedo's contract is a very heavy load to Indiana, and the salaries don't match. I'll try to live with Arenas as the starting PG, and we'll see if Granger can fit into our system, I'll be making some minor moves in the future to solidify the roster.

Rightly so that you traded Nelson. So far as I have played with this team, you need a second scoring option next to Dwight (for my its DeRozan :P) but Granger I think is even a better option. Nice Trade.

I like the trade, too. Granger is most definitely a huge upgrade at the small forward position. And you shed a huge contract and a player who's shooting percentage is a cancer to the team. (Y)

Thanks for the positive feedbacks on the trade :) Let's all watch out if Danny can improve the team, and sorry I forgot to mention, A.J. Price is included in that trade. Will recap the last week of December. Granger got injured in his first game as a Magic.
