Keep it up!

New Orlean's Trade 2-Time NBA Champion James Posey for Portland's Jamaal Tinsley![]()
New Orleans, Louisiana- In an attempt to get a bacl-up behind Chris Paul, the New Orlean's Hornet's agreed to terms with the Portland Trail Blazer's to ship off James Posey in exchange for Jamaal TInsley. Posey, who has been on 2 Championship teams (The Heat and the Celtics) will look to bring his veteranship to the much younger Portland Trail Blazers.
James Posey is averaging 12.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assist's and 1.3 steals.
For New Orlean's, back-up point guard Antonio Daniel's seem's like a bust as he is only averaging 2.5 points and 2.6 assist's per game- but what can you expect when you play behind Chris Paul? The acquisition of Tinsley will forsure deepen their backcourt which consists of Paul, Stackhouse and Bonzi Wells. However, the thought of TInsley getting any significant minutes behind Paul is still uncertain.
Tinsley is averaging 3.9 point per game and 1.4 assist's per game as he joins his 2nd team after being traded from Indiana.

Statisically it seems like a terribly lopsided trade with Tinsley averaging scrub numbers and Posey putting up really good role player numbers. It's a good trade for you, but it's getting awfully crowded at the wing positions.

With Ford Back, Indiana Now Faces Another Injury
December 8, 2009
Indianapolis, Indiana- With the return of T.J. Ford to the line-up, the Indiana Pacer's believed they would be a much stronger team now that they will have a full line-up. However, during the teams practice, the team faced a nasty site when shoting guard, Brandon Rush collapsed on the floor in pain holding his leg. It appeared to be a major injury that could've sidelined him for the amount of time Ford was but doctors and personnel concluded that Rush suffered only a strained hamstring and that he should still be able to play.
However, full recovery was not guaranteed for 2 weeks which mean's Rush will be contributing less as he will look more towards resting and healing that leg rather play hard and possibly injure his leg even further.
This, to many others, was an ironic injury as it happened just hour's after Ford was announced to be full healed and ready to play against their next game against Philadelphia. Many are wondering how will this affect his status on the roster and Head Coach, Jim O' Brien has stated that, "Rush will remain the starter. As far as I'm concerned he can still play- however, if I do notice anything weird in his game or see him uncomfortable then I will pull him."
Rush averaged 13.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals this season with Indiana.
Updates on the Rush injury will arise as soon as more information has been given.

In a move that shocked waves through the NBA, the Indiana Pacers, the Orlando Magic and the New Jersey Net's have all agreed on an 8 player swap which higlight's Vince Carter as he now will be playing for the Orlando Magics. Key player's involved in the trade include: Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee, Mikael Pietrus, and Rodney Carney. Here is a closer look at each team's trades:
____________________________________________________
INDIANA TRADES- Rodney Carney, Rasual Butler
INDIANA RECEIVES- Mikael Pietrus
The Pacer's don't lose much here. They let go of a younger player who can shoot the three and defend for an older (But still very much young) player who can do the exact same. The only problem I see here is that Pietrus is on a 3 year contract whereas Carney is in the final year of his, so should Orlando release him, they will have a couple million dollars to spend in the off-season. Should Indiana try and release Pietrus, they would still have his contract under there salary cap so the best thing to do (If they decide to not keep him) would be to trade.
ORLANDO TRADES- Rafer Alston, Tony Battie, Courtney Lee, Mikael Pietrus
ORLANDO RECEIVES- Vince Carter, Ryan Anderson, Rodney Carney
This trade should put Orlando on the map as one of the top team's in the East. Dwight Howard now get a veteran guard who can make shots for himself and take a lot of pressure off the big guy. Carter is now on a team that has a chance to go all the way and with his addition, they very much might be able to do so this year. The Magic give up Courtney Lee who played great for them last year, however, the decision between Lee and carter was a no brainer for Orlando.
The only downside here is that they lose Pietrus, but Carney is just as young and is just as good as Pietrus.
NEW JERSEY TRADES- Vince Carter. Ryan Anderson
NEW JERSEY RECEIVES- Rafer Alston, Tony Battie, Courtney Lee, Rasual Butler
Losing Carter will be a big load off the Nets' salary cap. The player's they will be receiving can be building blocks for the future. Courtney Lee has definitely proved that he can be a great scorer in the league and with the loss of Devin Harris, the Nets get a great point in Rafer Alston. Tony Battie will most likely be released as he has one year left and will relieve the Net's of $6.33M next year.
Overall, I think the Nets are slowly rebuilding this team and they're getting the right part's to do so.
