Hey man , very good trade , in real life and in the game. Chucky Atkins is a decent PG who can shoot 3's well , him backing up Luke Ridnour and Luke Ridnour backing him up you get decent PGs. Also , Brendan Haywood! This man is a beast , I like him game. He plays like a true C , he has an amazing inside game and he can rebound very well. Jared Jefferies will help too , he has long arms and he will be able to produce some good offence and defence.Good thing trading Fortson that much because he hasn't got an inside game even though he can rebound. In the C , position you get a gain (compare Fortson and Haywood , Haywood is just better :) ). The only loss is Nick Collison, he his a decent PF/C and he has got potential, he could've become something big on your team but Damien Wilkins was not much of a loss compared in this trade.

Good Trade overall and I like the way you're playing your dynasty. Keep up the good work. (Y)

I really like this deal, I consider Haywood and Jeffries to be a little more versatile than Fortson and Collison and Chucky is a better 3-point shooter than Wilkens and will make a better backup in my opinion. Good Trade!

I don't know where you're getting that from... :? I guess for you, it's not a change unless I go out and get Wade and Amare.

ShAuN wrote:No......That was a good trade for you. You got 2 good rebounders and shot blockers in Jeffries and Haywood, and a decent PG, and Atkins is a pretty good 3pt shooter....Good job man

Thanks, hopefully all those attributes come in handy.

You're right, and hopefully we can really benefit from this trade and continue the recent winning ways.

AI and C-Webb's 27 Each Not Enough, Sonics Beat Sixers

Image106 Image100

The supeb play of Chris Webber and Allen Iverson continued but so did Ray Allen's and the Sonics. Ray Allen netted a game-high 29 Points as Iverson and Webber cashed in with 27 each. Chris Webber also led in Rebounds with 12 and added 3 Assists but that was not enough to stop the Sonics.

The 76ers are enjoying a fine season and are glad to have Chris Webber in good shape playing alongside Allen Iverson but the red-hot Sonics were able to beat them in the Wachovia Center by a score of 106-100.

Allen Iverson had some big buckets near the end as Philly was trying to mount a comeback but Ray Allen's near flawless shooting and a Sonics great team effort got them the win against one of the Eastern Conference's top teams.

Luke Ridnour and Rashard Lewis were notable mentions as Ridnour scored 17 while Lewis netter 16. Brendan Haywood who played in his second game wearing a Sonics uniform had 12 Points, 8 boards and 3 Blocks.

The Supersonics now gain some confidence as they head to Florida to face the Orlando Magic and the Miami Heat.

Sonics Key Player Stats

Ray Allen- 29 Points
Rashard Lewis- 16 Points|2 Rebounds|4 Assists
Brendan Haywood- 12 Points|8 Rebounds|3 Blocks
Luke Ridnour- 17 Points
Drew Gooden- 8 Points|9 Rebounds
Ronald Murray- 9 Points
Jared Jeffries- 5 Points

Sixers Key Player Stats

Chris Webber- 27 Points|12 Rebounds|3 Assists
Allen Iverson- 27 Points|4 Assists
Andre Iguodala- 10 Points|2 Rebounds|3 Assists
Kyle Korver- 11 Points
Samuel Dalembert- 7 Points|8 Rebounds
Willie Green- 11 Points|2 Rebounds|4 Assists

Yeah, it is a big win and it went down to the wire. It'll be tough against Shaq & Wade. Two games versus tough Eastern Conference opponents.

I guess it's a bit disappointing for AI who averages 33+ but at least Webber was up there with 27 as well for Philly.

Wade, Heat Bury Sonics

Image102 Image100

The Sonics being back at Key Arena looked for another big win after coming off victories against the Sixers and Magic.

With Drew Gooden out of the Sonics' lineup already, an early injury to Guard Jason Williams of the Heat brought veteran Gary Payton into the game. But the big story was the play of Dwyane Wade. Wade led all scorers with 34 Points and fellow teammate Shaquille O'Neal followed with 13 Points and 9 Boards as the Heat knocked off the Sonics win streak with score of 102-100.

Ray Allen once again led Seattle in scoring, this time with 24. Rashard Lewis was able to add 14 of his own in the heartbreak loss to Miami.

James Posey and Antoine Walker playing in their first year with a Miami jersey, also were notable mentions. Posey netted 16 points as Toine cashed in with 12 Points and 8 Rebounds.

Gary Payton was obviously key for Miami as he had to replace the injured Jason Williams in the 1st quarter. He finished with 9 Points and 4 Assists. Other key bench players were Jared Jeffries who has looked solid for Seattle with 12 Points and 3 Assists and Alonzo Mourning with 4 Points and 5 key Rebounds for Miami.

Sonics Key Player Stats

Ray Allen- 24 Points|2 Rebounds|Assists
Rashard Lewis- 14 Points|2 Rebounds|2 Assists
Brendan Haywood- 10 Points|4 Rebounds
Reggie Evans- 8 Points|7 Rebounds
Jared Jeffries- 12 Points|3 Assists
Luke Ridnour- 2 Points|6 Assists
Ronald Murray- 8 Points

Heat Key Player Stats

Sonics Bench Solid, Victory Against Jazz

Image110 Image99

The Supersonics bench continued their recent success, as they outdueled the Jazz 110-99. Ronald "Flip" Murray led the Sonics bench with 15 Points with plenty of others chipping in. It was a rather quiet night for all Sonics starters in exception for Ray Allen who netted a game-high 29 Points.

The Jazz struggled for the most part of the game, Deron Williams led the way with 19 Points and 5 Assists as he enjoys a fine rookie season. Keith McLeod followed with a solid night off the bench with 17 and Andrei Kirilenko added 16 in the loss for Utah.

The Supersonics now improve their record to 24-17 as they slowly move up in the Standings. Ray Allen continues to shine as Rashard Lewis has cooled off a bit after a great start. Allen's scoring has been very consistant and the acquisitions have helped out a lot. Plus, the bench has picked it up.

The Sonics will face the Dallas Mavericks once again before facing off against Vince Carter and the Nets.

Sonics Key Player Stats

Ray Allen- 29 Points|3 Rebounds
Rashard Lewis- 11 Points|5 Rebounds|3 Assists
Drew Gooden- 12 Points|5 Rebounds
Ronald Murray- 15 Points
