it's probably just some roll-over effects from our previous '05 dynasties....I appreciate the support though and it keeps me going when time is limited....

Yea, if people loved your 05 dynasty, they will continue supporting your 06 dynasty. Cant wait to see some games!

HOUSTON HOBBLES AWAY FROM THE GAME
Today at a press conference at Madison Square Garden, New York Knicks' guard Allan Houston announced his immediate retirement after continual pain in his knee. He was able to come back and play some small but ineffective minutes during November, but in the end, the pain was too much. Allan Houston's salary will remain on the books until his contract expires at the conclusion of the 2006/07 season. Houston finishes his career during his 13th season in the NBA, including his 10th in New York. He also leaves the NBA as the 11th most profilic 3-point shooter in NBA history. His loss will weaken what was once considered a potentially dynamic backcourt combination (Marbury, Crawford, Hardaway, Robinson and Houston).
One of the nice guys around the league departs. So long Allan.
KNICKS CUT TIES WITH ANTONIO DAVIS
After Allan Houston's press conference today, GM Jimmy Dexter announced that the team had waived the rights to toughman Antonio Davis. The Chicago Bulls will likely claim him off the waivers in the next month. This decision has caused some stirring around the league that this was an agreed upon part of the Eddy Curry deal that the Bulls would get Davis back. However, since Antonio Davis did suit up for the Knicks for the majority of November, it is unlikely that David Stern will be able to find any foul play involved. Antonio Davis' huge contract will come off the Knicks' books at the end of this season, and will clear more playing time for rookies Channing Frye and David Lee, who figure to feature for the struggling Knicks as the season wears on.
GEORGIA TECH REMEMBERS JASON COLLIER
Recently departed Yellow Jackets' and Hawks' bigman Jason Collier was remembered in a moving ceremony on Georgia Tech's first home game of the season. Collier's family, including his widowed wife and 1-year old daughter, were on hand to unveil a commemorative plaque for the former Yellow Jacket. Collier spent 2 years at Georgia Tech after transferring from Bob Knight's Indiana Hoosiers.

His legacy lives on through his family and little daughter.
R.I.P. Jason

NY, NY, WHERE FOR ART THOU Q?!?
During their most recent home game against his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers, recently acquired swingman Quentin Richardson went down clutching his right foot.
I don't know what Quentin Richardson was more worried about - his aching foot or how rookie Channing Frye seemed to think his nickname "Q" had another meaning
The post-game prognosis was not good for Richardson as he was diagnosed with a broken bone in his foot. Usually the severity of his injury would cause a player to miss 2-3 months of action, which is the last thing that the struggling Knicks could afford.
Fortunately for the Knicks, prior to the start of the season, GM Jimmy Dexter hired trainer Dorgan Cowell, who specialises in foot and leg injuries. With Cowell on board, a recovery within 7 weeks is not out of the question for Richardson.
ANSWER BEING WORN DOWN IN THE CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE?!?
The Philadelphia Sixers' season took a hit when start guard Allen Iverson broke his foot, and is expected to miss the next 2 months of action. This injury leads to the question that is fly among NBA circles of whether Chris Webber can hold the Sixers together long enough to stay in the playoff race. The consensus is no.
Sixers' fans will be hoping that AI makes a speedy recovery from this latest injury
OTHER KNICKS' NEWS
Assistant coach Vin Lenard is reportedly working closely with SF Trevor Ariza on his offensive skills for the next couple of weeks. Larry Brown has inserted Ariza into the starting lineup to replace the injured Quentin Richardson. Whilst his athleticism and defense should stand up to the test of times, his raw offensive game means that opponents can lay off him. The main objectives of this specialist training is to improve Ariza's outside shooting and ballhandling skills.
Check out page 1 of the thread to see how the latest injuries and transactions leave the Knicks' roster.

RANDOM PICS FOR THE MONTH (NOV '05)
I'm trying some new things with Photoshop to add some uniqueness to the pics I take this year. I tried two different very basic styles. The first one with rookie Channing Frye highlights his play.
Rookie Frye has been a revelation for the Knicks as he has worked hard and is gradually earning more and more PT
The second one of Stephon Marbury uses black and white versus colour. I quite like this one better actually, and if anyone can make me a dynasty sig out of this then that would be sweet.
Who knows, maybe a sig with:
X's DYNASTY
"KNICKS IN COLOUR"
either way, here's the 2nd and final pic of the night....
The heart and soul of the Knicks is still Stephon Marbury. He can do it all, but can he make his teammates better in the process and help them win some ballgames?!?
Let me know if you like any specific style as I might regularly use it for pics....
that's all for tonight, time to sleep....will try and get last game of November played tomorrow night....we'll see about the recap....
cheers
X

Nice article you got there, nice read about Houston and Collier. Too bad that you loss Q for 7 weeks. You loss a good 3 point shooter. The good news is that Penny will get more minutes.

yep, I'm happy with how the team looks....I think I need to get a hold of a combo forward though....Rodney White is a free agent so I might look to him....let's see how David Lee handles that position first though before I sign anyone....
