KOBE-LESS LAKERS 2ND HALF COLLAPSE GIVES SHAQ-LESS HEAT VICTORY
Dwyane Wade had 29 points, Jason Williams had 29 points and Antoine Walker had 26 points
to lead the Shaq-less Miami Heat over the Kobe-less Los Angeles Lakers, 114-98.
Shaquille O'Neal is out with a leg injury, while Kobe Bryant is still recovering from a torn achilles tendon he suffered during the Lakers' 2nd game vs. Cleveland.
The game was a tight one in the 1st half, with the Lakers leading by 4 at halftime. However, the Heat took advantage in the 3rd quarter by out-scoring them 30-22 and then blew the game open in the 4th.
Lamar Odom led the Lakers with 21 points. Kwame Brown scored 15 points-the 1st time he scored under 20 points in 12 games.

LAKERS WIN GAME BEFORE KOBE'S RETURN
Kwame Brown had 21 points in probably his last game as the Lakers' leading scorer to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a
97-94 victory over the Orlando Magic.
Lamar Odom also had 21 points in the win, including 3-of-7 from downtown.
Steve Francis and Grant Hill each had 25 points.
The game was close throughout, with most of the highlightes coming from the Magic. However, the Laker defense closed them down. LA was up 95-94 before Francis' dunk was blocked by Andrew Bynum to seal the win. Horry hit 2 free throws to set the final score.
Next up for LA is the Phoenix Suns, the game where Kobe Bryant and Jeff McInnis return to the Lakers' lineup.

KOBE'S 40, ODOM'S 29 COUNTER NASH'S 54
He saw their chemistry when he was out. He didn't want to disrupt it when he returned. After three quarters, Kobe Bryant scored 10 points and had 11 assists to his name. Then, when it mattered the most, he took over. Bryant scored 30 points in the 4th quarter and in overtime
to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 139-129 win in OT.
Last time Bryant played, he got injured in the a Laker loss to Cleveland--this was the 2nd game of the season.
Back then, it was Bryant scoring. Now, its still Bryant scoring the points, but now with a lot of help from a rejuvinated Kwame Brown as well as Lamar Odom and the pack of youngsters.
Though still not 100%, Bryant saw the need to step in.
Odom had 29 points and 12 rebounds, Brown had 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Steve Nash scorched hot with 54 points.
The Lakers now go home to face their age-old rival, the Boston Celtics.

NO ONE SCORES 20 FOR LA IN WIN
This is how the fans and Laker management want it. Kobe Bryant not doing all the scoring and getting teammates involved. Lamar Odom scored 19 points and Kobe Bryant scored 16 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to
their 3rd straight win, 100-91 against the Boston Celtics.
The Lakers are now at 10-7, the highest they've been over .500 this season.

BRYANT’S TIP SAVES LAKERS
Kobe Bryant was a human highlight reel tonight. But no highlight could ever match his tip in of Robert Horry’s missed shot with 5.2 seconds left to help the
Los Angeles Lakers escape the Detroit Pistons, 99-98.
At first it seemed as if the Lakers would coast, leading by fifteen, 55-40, at halftime. However, Detroit fought back and LA only led by one at the start of the 4th.
The Pistons led 92-85 before the Lakers started to come back. Ben Wallace’s dunk gave Detroit the lead once more, 97-95. LA turned the ball over on their next possession, but Kobe Bryant stripped the ball away from Chauncey Billups. However, Lamar Odom turned the ball over again. Billups missed a runner, and Kwame Brown’s dunk tied the game. Ben Wallace was fouled on the next possession, and split his free throws. LA called for time.
Horry was sent into the game to be one of those to take the last shot. Bryant received the inbounds pass, drove inside and kicked the ball out to Horry in the wing. He let fly a three pointer, which fell short. Rasheed Wallace was there to secure the rebounds, but Bryant came out of nowhere to tip the ball in. Rasheed missed the last shot.
Kobe had 34 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Kwame Brown had a triple-double of 16 points, 13 rebounds and 12 blocks.
Billups led the Pistons with 31 points.
