Well you shut down Iverson pretty well and T-Mac stepped up but the Sixers just have too many offensive weapons with guys like Coleman and Van Horn. It has been very tough for the Magic. So is this a best of 7?

Thanx, I take care of Iverson but Coleman was right there in the end. Coleman kept knocking down perimeter shots, Kemp did played tight defence on him though.

I double teamed Iverson so he did not scored that much points, that was good. You got to give credit to Coleman and Van Horn, they stepped ups when Iverson did not provide his usual scoring. For us to win Game 5, everybody will need to stepups and play their best defence. Yes, this is a best of 7 series. So a team must win 4 games in order to advance to the next rounds.

Game 5 Sixers VS Magic Preview

Sixers lead the series 3-1

Like Game 3, the Magic continues to struggle on their offensive ends, especially in the first half. The Magic trailed by as many as 18 points until McGrady and Armstrong let a steady comeback but still they came up short in the end. McGrady had increased his scoring from 16 to 28 points since Game 3 but the Magic supporting casts did not provide enough contribution with the exception of Armstrong. The Magic tightens their defence on Iverson, who scored just 17 points but Coleman was too much for the Magic in the end. The Magic will need to regroup and stay off elimination if they want to get to Game 7. McGrady said, “The pressure is all on us right now, we down 3-1 and hopefully everybody stepups in Game 5 including myself.”

We'll good luck this will be your last chance, you better pray that Coleman doesn't go crazy on you!

Thu Nov 03, 2005 11:46 pm

Well obviously T-Mac will need to play like T-Mac, Armstrong should continue to play well and hopefully the Magic can stay alive. Try to hold AI, Van Horn and Coleman.

Fri Nov 04, 2005 12:40 pm

Kemp needs to keep Coleman in check somehow. Maybe tell Derrick to go lose some weight or something. Hopefully you can turn it all around.

I hope Coleman have a horrible shooting night in Game 5, else my 2003 playoffs will comes to an end. :|

Thanks for the advice. If T-Mac don't put points for us, then I guess the series is over. Defence is the key to win Game 5 for the Magic.

He did played tight defence on Coleman, even put a hand in Coleman's face but Coleman was hot throughout the whole game. I doubt Larry Brown will tell Coleman to lose some weight before Game 5.

This game was all about Tracy McGrady, his leadership carries the Magic behind his back and leads his team to the victory. McGrady finished the game with 30 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Great win and the Magic stay alive. T-Mac did his job racking up 30 points and Armstrong was there as well when called on. You won this one but you got to come back and win another one in Game 6, this is far from over. Keep this going, good luck!

Fri Nov 11, 2005 1:24 pm

Thanks for your support. I did not expect to win Game 5 so easily because we struggled on our offence throughout this series. The Magic played great, shooting 67.7% from the field was unbelievable. We contained Iverson, Van Horn and Coleman very well, not allowing them to make any easy shots. I hope the Magic can continue with their hot shooting in Game 6.

Well, you're at the do or die situation again, it won't be easy. Hopefully you can carry the momentum from game 5 into game 6, good luck!

Sun Nov 13, 2005 1:03 am

Thanks. The Magic can't make any more mistakes, else we are out of the playoffs picture. I just hope we can contain the Sixers big 3, not allowing them to score more than 20 points. I hope McGrady can lead us again in Game 6.

Edit: Nice 04-05 review you got there in your 06 dynasty. (Y)

Is all right . Yeah, I am glad that I was able to get a win back in Orlando. McGrady was terrific, he does it on both ends. But we play on the road again. It's going to be tough. Anyway, I will do my best to get to a Game 7.

Damn, so sad that this has come to an end...tough series kemp, you survived the first one but the Sixers were able to hold their ground. Van Horn's wearing the legendary #4 of Philadelphia so had to play well. :) I really like that pic of McGrady on the fast-break.

Btw, I've been thinking about this...would you be interested in doing a franchise together with you, me and Diogo if he can...? My game is completely updated, I can send you guys some patches and my rosters and we'll be good to go. It'll be a lot of fun if you're up for it.

Fri Nov 18, 2005 10:22 am

Yeah... it's a shame too see the Magic going away so early...

Well, the Sixers are a better team than the Magic, not just in my playoffs but also in real NBA. Goodluck to them in their next round. Yep, Van Horn has Webber's number, that's why he was able put on a good performance in Game 6. Thanks for your comments about the McGrady's pic, very appreciated.

I am currently playing NBA Live 06 and I enjoy playing it alot so I don't think I would do a Live 03 franchise again. Thanks for asking anyway.

Having see you for a long time, good to see you are still checking my 2003 playoffs. Unfortunately, is game over. :( Eventhough the Magic loss, I am very satisfied that we made it to the second round and put up a show against the Sixers. Thanks for your support since Game 1 of the Wizards-Magic series. :)

Thanks. Well, the Magic did not have enough fire power to match against the Sixers talents. But as you said, it was great while it lasted.

Thanks for asking again. I made my final decision, to continue to play Live 06. Between, I was looking forward to see me playing in your franchise.

Thanks for visiting my 2003 playoffs. :) Well, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. The Magic just did not made big plays in the final minutes but the Sixers did.

Sun Nov 27, 2005 9:47 am

Okay well think about it even though you said that you had made your final decision. And it won't be my Franchise, we'll start a whole new one with all three 03 players. Come on Diogo's in, it'll be a good way of putting Live 03 back on the map and plus you could do this and 06.

Sun Nov 27, 2005 12:37 pm

yea contiune with 06 is a good idea
