I'm finally done with NFS2 and I was able to play 6 games during the weekend. My 9 game winning streak was ended by the Magic last night. I was playing without Wade who is out with a sprained ankle and will continue to be out for at least 4 to 5 more games. Mobley made 12 of 12 shots and Francis scored 27 points for the Magic. Dwight Howard has developed well both offensively and defensively and was a big factor during the game, he made the play of the game by making a follow-up dunk over Parker. The Magic are rated 99 and the Heat is only rated 92 without Wade. The Magic was able to extend their lead every time i was able to cut it to 4 so the game was frustrating.
I did win against the 76ers after i lost to the Magic. The 76ers have been on the bottom of the league for 3 years now but they gave me a hard time during the game. I only won by 3 points and if O'neal didn't get hot after halftime then i would surely would have lost the game. Shaq had 32pts, 11rebs, 5blks, and 2 asts. Wolf contribute 22pts, while Parker and Abraham scored 14pts each. Abraham has replaced Wade in the starting lineup and he is averaging 13pts and 5 asts for the 3 games he has started.
Random Notes:
Penny Hardaway scored a season high 27pts off the bench against the Bucks. This was the game before they lost to the Magic.
Shaq is the East Player of the Month for December. He had an average of 24.4pts, 8.1rebs, 3.56blks, 2.1asts, and 1.2stls for the month.
I have inserted grant Hill in the starting lineup. I replaced Constantine as the starting SG and Hill is laying better now than he did during the start of the season. He is averaging just 5pts but that is still better than what Constantine is contributing to the team.

Who was the Parker that Dwight Howard dunked over?
Wed Apr 20, 2005 1:48 am
Stephon Parker is my 7'2 PF.
Wed Apr 20, 2005 2:00 am
The Heat lost again against the Pistons but not before winning against the Raptors on their previous game. Shaq scored 26pts against the Raptors along with 11rebs, 4blks, and 1 asts. Grant Hill scored a season high 16pts and Wolf had 25pts, 2rebs, 3asts, and 5stls. Wolf has started to play well after having a slow season wherein he was only averaging 11ppg, this year was supposed to be his coming out party but due to his 43% freethrow shooting percentage, he is only averaging 12.5ppg this season. For the most time this season he has been inconsistent.
The game against Detroit was difficult because their defense is so strong. They have Ben Wallace, Rasheed, Tayshaun, and Billups who are all very good defensive players. Shaq was the only player i have score in double figures with 30pts; he also had 13rebs, 7blks, and 1stl to win player of the game honors even when the Heat lost. Rasheed had 13 blocks!!!! Erasing everything in sight and left me with just my perimeter shots that didn't go in as well. Detroit had a total of 21blks for the game. They also made 8 straight 3 pointers and that gave them a 16pt lead in the 3rd quarter. I managed to slice the lead down to 6 in the last 2 minutes but I didn't have enough firepower to get me closer.
Wade is now ready to play on my next game but he is still at half strenght. He needs 3 more days to fully recover from his sprained ankle.

After winning 9 straight games, the Heat have lost 3 of their last 7 games. The Heat lost against the Bulls last night and team couldn't be any flatter than last night. The Bulls are only rated 89 and I still managed to lose the game. Shaq got injured during the second quarter and came back weak in the second half. Wade scored 18pts in his first game back from injury but nobody else got it going for the Heat. Gordon took charge for Bulls on the offensive end and Chandler got it going defensively blocking 10 of my shots!!!
Shaq is now going to be out for at least 10 days with an arm injury.
My next game was against Utah and I inserted Bashini Long to the starting lineup to replace Shaq. The Heat again started out flat and it didn't help when Wade got injured again in the second quarter and was going to be out for the rest of the game. This is the second time this season that i'm going to be playing without Shaq and Wade and i expected to see my team lose again as Utah build an 11 pt lead midway thru the 2nd quarter. Haslem ended up to be my savior as he scored 11 straight points to get me back into the game. The the half ended I already had a 3pt lead. Then everybody got together to build the lead as i go on and win the game by 21pts. Long had 19pts, 10rebs, 3blks, and 2 asts. The seldom used center Curt Dixon had 10pts, 4rebs, and 2blks. Wolf had 23pts, 4rebs, 3stls, 2asts, and 1blk for the game. Parker had 10pts, 8rebs, 3asts, and 2blks. And Haslem had 15pts and 6rebs to complete the balanced attack of the Heat.
I thought i was going to lose Wade again for a few days but it's a good thing that he has fully recovered from his ankle injury and is now 100%. Bashini Long has been a great back up for Shaq whenever he is injured. He has averaged a double-double every time he starts the game. Curt Dixon surprised me with his offensive skills and i'm looking to insert him in the rotation.
Wolf is now averaging more pts than Parker at 12.8 to Parker's 12.5. If Wolf is only a good free throw shooter i would have him average 25pts. Sometimes i don't want him shooting free throws so i don't give him the ball.
Thu Apr 21, 2005 7:46 am
bashini long.. ahah. sorry.
good job again man, lets see how well you fare without the big (fat) man
Fri Apr 22, 2005 1:31 am
Well, it seems like i'm doing ok without the big fat guy. I won 2 games last night without him, against the Nets and the Pacers. Wade led the Heat in scoring for both games scoring 28 against the Nets and 30 against the Pacers. Wolf has found his shooting touch and has scored 20 or more points in 4 straight games. He had 20 agaist the Nets and 23pts, 6rebs, 3asts, and 3 stls against the Pacers.
I don't know where EA gets the names of the rookies but Bashini Long is one of the weird ones indeed. But he's been playing a monster of a game without Shaq, he grabbed 15rebs against the Nets and grabbed 17 more against the Pacers. he scored only 8 pts in both of the games but he had 5blks against the Nets and 3 against the Pacers. Amazingly Alonzo is still playing for the nets and is still a great defensive player. He blocked 8 of my shots and had 8rebs for the game. Grant Hill scored 10pts against the Pacers as he plays a more defined role as the 5th option on the team.
Stephon Parker has been steady at the PF position, his season average so far is 12.8pts, 8rebs, and 1.56blks. Long is averaging 2.20blks, and Shaq is at 3.46bpg. Wade is averaging 5.23stls, and Wolf is at 2.11spg.

I played 8 games leading up to the All-Star wekeend and finished with a 4-4 record. I lost to teams like the Nets, Rockets, Phoenix and Hornets. I won against the Pistons, Denver and 2 other teams that I can' remember right now. Against the Nets, Kidd scored 24pts in the first half to totally dominate the Heat, the Heat just scored 36 for the half so i really had no chance of winning that game playing that poorly, Kidd ended the game with 36 pts and Jefferson had 22. It's good to see Mourning still playing for the Nets.
I encountered the same PG domination against the Pistons as Billups scored 29pts in the first half. Good thing that i was able to stop him in the fourth quarter and he ended up not scoring a point after the third. He finished with 36pts but the rest of the Pistons were so so. I had Ben Wallace in foul trouble for most of the game so i was able to score from the inside.
The Rockets built a 20 point lead in the 1st quarter and this is the biggest lead that any team had on me in the 1st quarter ever! I came back to within 10 after the Half but still lost the game. Wolf missed 3 free-throws in the last 10 seconds with the Rockets leading by 4. That basically caused me the game. The Rockets have a bunch of good rookies on their team as well as McGrady and Yao.
Shaq has not been his dominate self after coming back from injury but his free throw percentage is now up to 53%. He had 24pts, 18rebs, 7blks, 2asts, and 1stl against Denver. In all the games I played, only Wade was scoring 20 points or more consistently, he is now averaging 20.1pts and 5.73stls. He has been invited to play for the East in the All-Star game and will also be participating in the Slam Dunk contest. Shaq didn't make it to the All-Star roster as he has been injured for most of the season. He has already missed 13 games so far.

The Heat is back on track after the All-Star break winning against the Pistons and Cavs on consecutive nights. Most of the players got some rest during the break as only Wade participated on the All-Star game. It would be understandable to see Wade tired after participating the Slamdunk contest and the game but he led the team in scoring both times. Wade had 30pts, 5stls, 6asts, and 3 rebs against the Pistons and scored 26pts against the Cavs, including 6stls, and 5asts. The bench provided great support against the Pistons as Long and Abraham scored 8pts each. The Heat was down by 8 when the bench players came in with 2 minutes left in the third and ended up with a 4pt lead with 4:50 remaining in the 4th. Shaq had 21pts, 11rebs, and 4blks for the Heat as he battled the Wallaces inside. The Pistons was led by Billups' 26pts and Hamilton's 16pts. Ben Wallace had 10blks while Rasheed had 3.
The starting 5 played very well against the Cavs as the bench provided only 6pts for the game. Shaq had 23pts, 11rebs, and 5blks while Parker and Wolf scored 18pts each. James led the Cavs with 30pts while McGinnis had 22. The Heat is now 36-20.
At this point in the season Shaq is leading the league in blks with 3.75bpg while Bashini Long is 10th with 2.12bpg. Wade is still leading the league in steals with 5.53spg and Wolf is 5th with 2.02spg. Shaq is 2nd in Offensive rebounds with 3.8 while Parker is 6th with 3.3orpg. Haslem is 3rd on free-throw percentage with a 93% average while Constantine is 6th at 91%. Wade leads the league in free-throws made and attempted with 100 more makes than the next player behind. Shaq is 4th in scoring with 22.3ppg.
Gerald Wallace won the Slam-Dunk contest and the West team won the game, 118-111.
Wed May 11, 2005 1:07 am
The Heat suffered a major setback last night as they lost Shaq and Parker on consecutive nights due to injury. Shaq suffered a sprained thumb against the Grizzlies and is going to be out for 4 weeks, the Heat still managed to win the game behind Constantine's 20pts and Wade's 23pts and 8stls. Parker also injured his thumb against the Spurs and is going to be out for 2 weeks. The Heat still managed to extend the game to 2 overtimes but with Wade fouling out in the last 2 minutes of the 4th, the Heat just didn't have enough to win the game. 7 players scored double figures for the Heat led by Wade's 21 and Wolf's 20pts. Long played well as he had 11pts, 13rebs, and 5blks.
It's going to be a difficult second half of the season as they lose their 2 starting players but Wade is playing very well so if they go 50-50 in the next month, they are still in good position to make the playoffs.
Sat May 14, 2005 6:40 am
The Heat started the season with a bunch of injuries and they seem to be in that state again this time of the season. As if it was not enough that Shaq and Parker are already out with injury, Bashini Long had an arm injury in the first quarter against the Wizards and wasn't able to come back and play. Fortunately, the Heat still won that game behind Wade's 24pts and 6stls. Curt Dixon, the Heat's 3rd string center came out to play and contributed 12pts, 4rebs, and 2 blks. Freije came off the bench to score 10pts and Abraham scored 6. Haslem is starting for the injured Parker scored 14pts and grabbed 18rebs, his season high.
The Heat battled against the Knicks the previous night and got away with a 5pt win in overtime. Wade scored 41pts in the game and carried the Heat thru overtime. Haslem had 24pts and 11rebs as he continue his strong play as a starter. The same thing can be said of Long who had 11pts, 13rebs, 8blks, 2stls, and 2asts.
It's a good thing that Long will be able to play in the Heat's next game. I already lack a backup PF and i will be out of backup center if Long goes to the injured list.
I forgot to say that Kwame Brown was actually an All-Star in the 2008 All-Star game.

The Heat has now won 4 straight games without Shaq and Parker mainly because of Wade's great paly. Wade only averaged 14.5pts last season and this season he is averaging 20.8pts. But during Shaq'a absence it is actually Bashini Long who is providing the support the Heat needs to win games, he was named player of the game against the Pacers 2 nights ago as he exploded for 16pts, 10rebs, 5blks, and 3asts. He has stand as the focal point of defense for the Heat and has been abolutely steady on the floor. He followed that up with a 15pts, 12rebs, and 2blks performance against the 76ers the next night.
Wolf was the player of the game against 76ers as he poured in 31pts, 2rebs, 2asts, 2stls, and 1 blk against the 76ers defense. With an assortment of jumpshots and dunks nobody on the 76ers roster could stop him. he has also improved his free throw shooting and he is now at 48%.
The play of the bench players is also something that has improved during this stretch as they provided much needed points when the first 5 players are off the player. Penny has been oe of the major contributors as he scored 9pts to help the Heat win agaisnt the Pacers, he came in in the last 2 minutes of the game and immediately scored 5pts on a 3 and lay up and that extended the Heat's lead to 9 and that won them the game. Abraham also came off the bench to score 8pts. Matt Freije scored 10pts against the 76ers and Curt Dixon has been a great back up center for Long.
I have 4 players that are going to be free agents at the end of the season and I hope that i get to sign all of them back. I don't have any cap space at all but I hope i could resign them for less money, especially Grant Hill.
Curt Dixon
Matt Freije
Penny Hardaway
Grant Hill

The heat won 3 more games last week against the Clippers, Grizzlies and the Cavs. They are definitely playing better and the bench has really shown their worth in the absence of Shaq. Long was the player of the game against the Clippers as he had 18pts, 8rebs, and 5blks. Wade is still top scoring for the team with 25pts against the Clippers and 31 against the Grizzlies.
Freije made a surprise contribution against the Grizzlies as he had a season high 23pts. Haslem got injured during the start of the second quarter and Freije stepped in and did a very nice job of scoring. The Heat had a 10pt lead going into the last 2 minutes when Jason williams scored 6 straight points on consecutive 3-pointers and Gasol made a lay up. I had a 1 pt lead with 30 seconds left when Battier let fly a 3 that didnt go but was rebounded by Gasol. Gasol immediately tried to put the ball back but Long was their to swat his 7th and most important block of the game. Wade then got the ball after the block and was fouled. Wade made both free throws but Battier made a 3 on the next posession with 10 seconds left on the clock. wade took the ball down and pass it to Freije on the low post where he made his 23rd pts of the game and won the game for the Heat. Wolf had 15pts, 6rebs, 6asts, and 2stls.
Wolf scored 25pts against the Cavs and 6 players scored in double figures for the game. Wade had 21pts, 10stls, 4asts, and 2rebs for the game. Long had 16pts, and 10rebs, while haslem had 12pts, and 10rebs. Constantine and Freije had 13pts each.
Freije has a deadly mid-range shot and an accurate free-throw shooter. He gets his points by shooting over his defender and getting to the free throw line. I would certainly want to sign him again. Parker has been cleared to play and is going to play against the Lakers tonight.

And I'm back ladies and gentlemen, got sidetracked by Shadow of Rome and GT4 but i was still playing the game and the Heat is now 50-23 and we're up to number 6 in the power rankings, They actually got to number 5 before they lost to the Magic on Shaq's first game back after a month on the injured list. Shaq came back and scored 25pts and grabbed 10rebs but that wasn't enough to win the game. Hedo Turkolu made 3 after 3 and that basically killed the life out of the Heat. Cato was still blocking my shots like crazy so they really did their job in stopping the Heat.
Shaq played his second game against the Nets and had 32pts, 8rebs and 7blks to lead the Heat to a win. It seem like Shaq didn't lose any touch for the game and just came back and dominated the game again. It Shaq's absence, Bashini Long was actually able to lead the league in shot blocks made, He and Shaq are 1-2 in the bpg leaders and the Wallaces are 3-4. Long had a solid stint on the starting line up and he increased his stats to 7.2pts, 5.5rebs, and 2.64blks. This may seem low but he averaged almost 11pts, 12rebs, and 4blks in Shaq's absence.
Parker also came back and played better. he scored 26pts in his second game back and have actually increased his scoring average since returning from injury. He is averaging 16pts and 8rebs since his return.
Wolf also stepped up during Shaq's absence and he is now averaging 13.8pts for the season, he is number 2 on the steals leader board behind Wade.
Wade has been solid and continues to be the leader of the Heat. He is averaging a career best 20.9pts and an astounding 5.7 stls per game. His assist average is only 4.4 bec he needed to score more during Shaq's absence. He is leading the league in freethrows made and converted and that shows his agressiveness going to the basket.
The other players have also contributed magnificently for the Heat this season. Freije was the ultimate surprise, i have mentioned that he has great mid-range touch but he had a game wherein he made 3 3-pointers without a miss. Curt Dixon also played well at center and showed great offensive and defensive awareness. The Heat is now looking to finish the season strong and try to take first place away from the Detroit Pistons.
Mon Jun 27, 2005 6:15 am
And the Heat is back! Got stuck on GT4 for a while but now i'm back. First of all, congratulations to all Spurs fans out there, especially to big shot rob's fans. It would have been a different story if the Heat was in the Finals but maybe next year.
The Heat has 7 games left and is trailing the Spurs and Pistons by 3 games. I'm just going to try and win all the games and get a chance to get the best record and at the same time win Coach of the year again. The Heat is now no.5 on the power rankings and we only have 3 weeks left for the season.
The Heat played the Bobcats on consecutive games and won both. Wade exploded for 27pts, 22stls, 6 assist, and 1 reb! Yes, that's 22 steals, his previous best was 14 steals and on this game he already had 12 before the first half ended. Shaq had 38pts, 12rebs, 3blks, and 3asts. All starting 5 players had 3 asts or more. Parker scored 18pts and grabbed 7rebs. I beat the Bobcats by 30 on this game but the next game was another story.
The Bobcats stuck to me like glue all the way and even took the lead with 2 minutes left. I won by 4 as Mike James did a billups and burned me for 33 pts. Wade had 20pts, 12stls, 7asts and 3rebs. Wade is averaging 6.14stls per game for the season and that is sick! (never used that word before). Shaq had a sub par game with 17pts, 12rebs, 6blks, and 3asts. Wolf and Constantine made valuable contribution as they score 18 and 12pts respectively.
I'm already looking forward to the off-season but first the playoffs, where the Heat is looking for championship no.4
Tue Jun 28, 2005 9:19 am
As good as Wade is playing this season, averaging 21pts, 6.14stls, and 4.4asts per game, he is not even on the MVP candidates list. The player leading the list is Yao Ming, so it seems like he finally made it, averaging 23.6pts, 11.3rebs, 2.54blks, and some asts. Players included in the list are Jason Kidd, Baron Davis, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett.
Shaq has been good when he's playing but i guess he missed so many games this season to even be considered a candidate. He never won when he was healthy anyway!!!
Wed Jun 29, 2005 8:34 am
The Heat went up against the Spurs last night and ended up with a 99-89 win. The Heat was led by Shaq's 34pt, 17rebs, 6blks, and 3asts performance and Wade's 24pts, 7stls, and 8asts explosion. Parker was the only other player for the Heat to score in double figures as he had 20pts, 8rebs, and 2blks. No other Heat player scored more than 5pts! The Spurs was led by Brent Barry. It was surprising to see him start instead of Manu but my amazement ceased after Barry scored 19pts in the first quarter! He ended the half with 24pts but scored just 2 pts in the second half. Duncan was in foul trouble the whole night and wasn't a factor at all.
The only award that i wish i could take home after the season is the 6th Man of the Year award for Bashini Long. He has played very well throughout the year during the absence of Shaq and even as a back up to him. He is a back up center that is 4th in Blocks in the NBA.
Coach of the Year is still up for grabs but i think it's going to be hard for Shaq and Wade to be even part of the All NBA 2nd team this year. Wade is a lock for DPOY (I hope) and hopefully Shaq gets a nod even if he missed a lot of games. He does have the most blocks made in the NBA this season even after missing 20+ games.
Fri Jul 01, 2005 4:41 am
The Heat went up against the Celtics last night and won in OT 103-98. It's the second hard fought game as the Heat is trying to get to 1st place in the standings. Marcus Banks went Wade on me and scored 24pts, 6asts, and 3stls, but Wade did a Jason Kidd and had 20pts, 11stls, 9asts, and 3rebs. He scored only 4pts in the first half and did most of the damage in OT. The Heat was down 10 going into the 4th quater and was down 2 with 10 seconds to go. Wade got fouled and made both so the game went into OT. The Heat actually had a lot of chance to win the game in regulation but they had too many turnovers. One of them Shaq pushing Wolf out of bounds after he grabbed a rebound, and another is Parker passing to Wade who was still in the back court! It also didn't help that the Heat missed 5 free throws in the last 3 minutes of regulation.
Shaq was his usual self with 37pts, 8rebs, 3asts, 2blks, and 2stls. Parker had 18pts, 12rebs, 6asts, and 2stls. Wolf had 14pts.
Fri Jul 01, 2005 5:31 am
You should use fraps and put up some pictures. That way it would be much more interesting. and I'm not saying that it isn't now.
Fri Jul 01, 2005 5:45 am
Loving the short recaps. Your dynasty is probably the only one without pictures that I enjoy reading

! Nice OT win against Boston,Shaq came through once again.
Thu Jul 07, 2005 7:42 am
Thanks for the feedback guys. I do want to put pictures and show you the players and the stats that i came up with but i am playing on PS2 and the only camera i have is my camera phone. And that doesn't even work coz when i try to take pictures, black bar lines shows up in the picture. =)
Well Sacramento got the best of me yesterday, I thought that i was going to sweep all my remaining games but the Kings had other plans. Stojakovic and Bibby burned the net with 3-pointers all throughout the game and that did me. The Heat was led by... well you know who but again, lots of missed free throws, untimely 3-point attempts, and Wade fouling out early in the fourth was just too much to overcome. Long had 12points off the bench and i wanted to play him more but you don't sit Shaq when he's healthy, not even when he's missing 50% of his free throws!
I forgot to check if i still have a chance of overtaking Detroit as the best team this season but i'm sure that this defeat will hurt my chances.
Fri Jul 08, 2005 3:28 am
I just checked the standing and i don't think i'll make it pass the Pistons for 1st place in the league. As it stands now, I'm only 4th in the standings with a 54-25 record. Detroit is at 57-22 so unless they lose their last 3 games, i don't really have a chance.
Last night i beat the Blazers on my homecourt. Shaq had 34pts, 11rebs, and 2 blks, and Parker had 16pts, 8rebs, and 6blks. Wade had a soso game with 11pts, 7stls, and 4asts. Long had another good game with 10pts, 4rebs, and 4blks. The reason for his better scoring is that he finally learned the lost art of the skyhook. At 7'5 with arms the lenght of a cadillac, his skyhook is unstoppable. Shaq's skyhook gets block most of the time but Long has never been blocked on a skyhook. I did mention before that i had Long wear goggles that were similar to what Jabbar wore during his early year. The Blazers was led by stoudamire and Abdur-Rahim.
I finally had the time to check on draft prospects and although this draft strenght is very strong, i can't find a strong SG that i can get late in the 2nd round. I did find another 7'1 PF with a Good upside and i'm sure to pick this player on the 1st round even though he is undrafted prospect. I need to find a better SG coz that's the only position that i'm weak at. I have a 7'1 SG right now but i need somebody who can drain the 3 consistenly. I'm thinking of trading for Redd but we'll see.
Fri Jul 08, 2005 3:31 am
Nice win against blazers...a 7'1 SG

The 2008 season is over and as the Heat win their 4th consecutive championship in Shaq's era, they are looking forward to the 2009 season with new players. Just to give you a recap on what happened before the championship game.....
The Heat finished the season at 57-25, finishing third behind the Pistons and the Spurs. The Heat beat the Bobcats in the first round (yup, the bobcats made it into the playoff on their 4th year of existence.) Then they beat the Raptors in the second round. Then beat Indiana in the conference Finals behind Shaqs, 34pts and 23rebs performance. then finally beating the Kings in the Finals. Shaq won the Finals MVP and that is the only award he won this season after missing 27 games. He had averages of 24pts, 9rebs, and 3.87blks for the season.
Wade was 2nd team All-NBA, 1st team All-Defensive, and Defensive Player of the Year. Wade finished the season with 20.4pts, 6.16stls, and 4.5asts. I was hoping that Long would win the 6th-Man award but he lost.
Yao Ming has finally come to his own and won season MVP. Joining him in the mythical selection are Tim Duncan, Ron Artest, Paul Pierce, and Jason Kidd. Rookie of the year was given to a Knicks rookie. Coach of the Year was given to Hubie Brown of the Grizzlies (yup, he's still coaching.)
What was supposed to be the breakout season for Wolf turned out to be premature as he averaged 13.4pts, 3.3rebs, 2.3asts, and 2.16stls (5th in the league). Parker averaged a similar 13pts, 8rebs, and 1.5blks.

Yeah, Tyler Constantine, he's not very talented though averaging just 4pts for the season.
