He's Steve Francis re-born. He now went from playing 30 minutes to being Kobe's sub.

Orlando looks fine after the trade, I hope Lopez will turn out to be their man. He's always been a beast in 2k.

I am more like sixth man of the year and the Lakers' future superstar.

F that. Never wanted to see Nash in a Laker uni.
Wed Jan 04, 2012 7:36 pm
Wow, J-Kidd still going strong. Just noticed that Nash also went to LA in yours. The Lakers are having a sick season so far in my D ... 7-0, but they did not really give up anything important for Nash, whilst your trade involved LO.

Rookie Rankings - Dec. 2
Perry Jones separating himself from the rest of the class
The season is still young, but the rookie class looks like one of the best in recent years with loads of potential. And ahead of the class this early is the Nuggets Perry Jones, picked #4 by Sacramento.
The Nuggets traded Nene and Ty Lawson for the pick, 2 of their main pieces last season after trading Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks. Nene had hinted that he won't re-sign with the Nuggets and the Kings had agreed to sign Nene, and a sign-and-deal trade was completed.
Jones looks like the best thing to happen to Denver since Carmelo. After 17 games, he is leading all rookies in ppg (17.0), rebounds (7.4), blocks (1.5) and double-doubles (5). He has scored in double-figures in 15 games, including two 30+ games.
Behind him are Kyrie Irving, #2 pick of the Heat, who is the main ball-handler in Miami with Dwyane Wade playing more off-ball then last season. Irving has plenty of options on offense, with Wade, Chris Bosh, Rudy Gay and Serge Ibaka in the line-up and key reserves Udonis Haslem, Jimmer Fredette and Joel Anthony. Irving scored a rookie-high 38 points against the Celtics.
The #1 pick Harrison Barnes of the Wizards ranks third with 12.1 ppg and 6.4 rpg and with John Wall and Javale McGee, the Wizards have a great young core full of potential.

Nice game from me
And great to have Dwight aboard!
Sun Jan 15, 2012 4:42 am
Yup, Deron picked up 2 fouls in the first 5-6 minutes or so, so you got more time. In the fourth, you caused a lot of problems for me.
Sun Jan 15, 2012 7:14 am
is the plan to only play defense for 3 quarters?
cause i mean LeBron's pregame powder is just a setup for his disappearing act in the end
Sun Jan 15, 2012 10:32 am
What's Dwight Howard doing shooting jumpers?

He looks bad in a Nets uniform btw
Go out there and kick LeBrick's ass
Sun Jan 15, 2012 4:35 pm
That sucks for KD!
Mon Jan 16, 2012 1:19 am
KidJustin, we'll see. He was a good closer for me last season, I hope his lack of clutchness kicks in.
Valor, He actually made a few of those, this one was so predicable and Joel denied access.
Sit, yeah, I was hoping the Thunder make the Finals, where hopefully I will also be.

Mon Jan 16, 2012 3:32 am
Wow, big time shooting by LeBron, and not to mention the help he got from Mayo. Still, at least Rudy Gay came up with a fabulous poster.

With no agreement on an extension, the Clipper and Hornets have agreed on a deal to send Chris Paul and David Andersen to the Hornets for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman and Al-Farouq Aminu. This will give the Clippers a good core with Paul, Blake Griffin DeAndre Jordan and Stephon Mayberry. To fill a few roster spots, the Clippers have signed Marquis Daniels and Matt Janning to 1-year deals.

LeBron went for 51 points, breaking the Grizzlies franchise record for points for the third time this season. Still, it wasn't enough to beat the Western Conference leading Rockets.

The Raptors finally won a game, but changes to the team or personnel are very likely.

Nash, at 37, has a year or two still in him and believes the Lakers have a chance to win the title.

The Pistons and Bulls have agreed on a deal to send the #3 pick of the draft, Leo Lai, to the Bulls for James Johnson, Jordan Farmar and the 2013 first round pick. Lai grew up as a fan of the Bulls. The Pistons didn't fully utilize Lai, playing more experienced players like Ben Gordon and Corey Brewer. Lai had a season-high 25 points against the Heat, going 7-8 from deep and coincidentally, he will be making his debut against the Heat when the Bulls visit Miami

Kevin Love is interested in a contract extension with the Timberwolves, good news for Minnesota.

LeBron James and the Grizzlies have not been great, so the Grizzlies have traded Darrell Arthur to the Nuggets for veteran big man Al Harrington. Will this lead to more wins for the Grizzlies? Only time will tell though with Harrington, the Grizzlies get an extra shooter into their starting line-up.

Not a very merry Christmas for Jimmer. Despite averaging over 12 points per game, Fredette is not happy with his role on the team. As he is playing mostly off-guard for the HEAT, playing time isn't easy to find with Dwyane Wade in front of him.

The Trail Blazers and Wizards have agreed on trade, which will send Marcus Camby to the Wizards and Nick Young and Hilton Armstrong will be going to Portland. Good deal? Bad deal?

After trading Dwight, the Magic surprisingly acquired Michael Redd for JJ Redick. Redd will probably be relieved, as he leaving the worst team in the league. Redick probably won't be the scorer the Suns really need.
Mon Jan 16, 2012 8:56 am
Heat acquired Paul?
Mon Jan 16, 2012 11:02 pm
Hmm, didn't even notice that. I added my 2nd rounder to do the deal but at no point did I acquire Paul. Oh well.
Mon Jan 16, 2012 11:52 pm
Defeat would be too great. Gay has shown that there is no worse than Lebron.
