Rookies ain't got a chance.
Thu Sep 09, 2010 3:15 pm
Yeah, I expect the rookies to get crushed. Looking forward to seeing the all-star teams! I think your guards will make it, but after seeing several Raptors making the ASG in one of your seasons, I wouldn't be surprised if 4 guys made it for you.

I don't think even my Lakers had 4 guys in it back in the day...

They did in the 90s with Van Exel, Kobe, Eddie Jones and Shaq I believe.

Currently my hope is that my All-Stars are like the 05-06 Pistons, who had 4 players on the bench, with the defensive minded SF not making the squad.

NBA.com wrote:Redd, White represent Bucks at All-Star SaturdayThe Bucks will have 2 participants for the second straight year at All-Star Saturday. Redd will participate in the Footlocker 3PT Shootout for the second straight year, while James White will make his highly anticipated Sprite Slam Dunk Contest debut.
Redd didn't advance to the final round last year and has high goals this season. Redd has shot 41/105 from 3PT range this season, 39%. Many thought the other Bucks sharpshooter, Kyle Korver, should have also made the cut, but there wasn't room for him. He has shot 31/71, .437 this season.
Redd will join Baron Davis, Chris Duhon, Chauncey Billups, JR Smith, Paul Pierce, Will Sit and Kevin Martin in the competition.
James White, known primarily for his dunking abilities and amazing vertical leap, will go up against Ruday Gay, DeMar DeRozan, and for the first time, as the fans got to vote for the fourth participant, Kwame Brown of the Detroit Pistons makes his Slam Dunk Contest debut.

Prediction: Kwame Brown wins the dunk contest!
You mispelled Chauncey Billups, it's a c, not an s.

Axel13, thanks for the heads up. And with Live 06's man-crush on Kwame Brown, he probably does win it.

Yea too bad Sit you have to take a back seat to me Denver's Icy Assassin.
I predict White ends up winning the Dunk Contest. If you can almost touch 13 feet you can dunk

Three point shootout... I'm not that good.

Too much of a streaky shooter.

Disappointing to see only one Buck make the game. Love Oden making it though!

I'm shocked that Kobe or Kd didn't go, wow! Al Harrington in the allstar game? I'm glad to see Deron Williams, Chauncy Billups and Chris Paul go.
