Wow. In my association I have BOTH Gasol and Ibaka. Then again, it was a fantasy draft, so it's a bit unfair...or isn't it?

I like the idea for you. I think to make it more realistic, make it a three-team trade, so that Perkins isn't stuck behind Marc Gasol, unless they decide to put Gasol at the 4.

It turned out it was the hard drive that was fucked, so now the menders are looking to order a new one, which will be costly and also take a lot of time. This sucks balls.

I'm going home on Nov 11th, hopefully I can pick up my laptop then. Haven't played 2K in so long, so expect immediate updates after that.
Also, been looking at GameStop stores here in Finland, don't have them in Estonia, and none of them still have 2K12 for any platform, while a large grocery shop with an electronics section already had it a couple days after the release.

Sorry for hyper-spamming, but just to let you know, it's fixed now, new hard drive cost 75 Euros, shop price for hd 99 euros (i got connections, actually my sister has). Will be picking it up this weekend.

gee, who pissed him off?

A combination of Durant making everything and not getting calls, just 2 free throws in the first half.

Ah I see, hahaha nice win

Thanks. More updates on the way.
Also have been playing a little of 2K12, first quick game beat the Knicks with the Heat, Wade made the game-winner at the buzzer. But don't really see anything in the gameplay I'd prefer to 2K11. Create-a-Legend with Scalabrine has been interesting though.

It was a duel for the ages between Flash and KD.

After less then 48 hours of the Thunder's defeat to the league-leading Miami Heat, the two teams have agreed on a deal which will send Serge Ibaka to South Beach for Marc Gasol. The trade will be a straight swap of the two Spanish National Team players as Oklahoma City can take on Gasol's bigger contract.
Gasol never really fit in with the Heat, averaging 6 ppg and 7 rpg since joining the team as the the starting C after the sudden LeBron trade. He had 6 blocks against the Thunder, probably his most memorable performance as a member of the Heat.
Ibaka grew impatient with the Thunder and made no secret that he was not going to stay with the team. The Thunder opted to trade him instead of losing him in FA for nothing and chose the Heat's deal as the best offer.
The original offer was reportedly Ibaka and the Thunder's 2013 first round pick for Gasol and the Grizzlies 2013 1st round pick the Heat obtained from the LeBron trade. Reports say the Heat responded with "get real, noob" type response to that offer. The Thunder gave up on adding anything to the deal and agreed to a straight swap between the two.
Ibaka will be in the Heat's line-up when they travel to Charlotte to take on the Bobcats. Ibaka had 8 points and 7 rebounds in his last match as a member of the Thunder.

haha beat them and take their star big man...major low blow to the thunder in only a short time
Sat Nov 19, 2011 4:05 am
Great trade for you. Now this team can get up and down the floor and can be great at rim protection
Sat Nov 19, 2011 6:43 am
Thanks for the positive replies.
KidJustin, actually I helped them out with the trade. Gasol was rated 1 point higher, Ibaka was -8 with his morale at 0. I'm glad I did the trade after the game, I'm sure Gasol would have hurt me a lot.
Next up : Finals rematch - Lakers @ Heat!

I like that trade for Ibaka. He's someone who will get his points without demanding the ball a lot; scoring will be a lot easier with LeBron and D-Wade setting him up. I also hope you beat the Lakers!
Sun Nov 20, 2011 7:13 am
Axel., Wade and Irving will be setting him up, LeBron's gone.
Sun Nov 20, 2011 8:12 am
Since Gasol didn't deliver, there goes some more athleticism for your team. Really sick athletic line up you have.
Sun Nov 20, 2011 12:34 pm
Not a fan of the trade, but I bet Ibaka is good in 2K11.

I guess I should change Artest's name in my stories too
Tough loss man.
Wed Nov 23, 2011 5:47 pm
If D-Wade doesn't score, it looks bad for you. I also expected more out of Bosh. I mean this guy was a franchise player in Toronto and now he takes like 13 shots?
On the other end when you look at the numbers, the POTG was Pau Gasol. Pretty much like IRL: Gasol gets highly efficient 18/12/2 on 9-16 shooting, but Kobe is the man with 32 points on 28 shots ...
Wed Nov 23, 2011 6:55 pm
Nice association, this is still going strong. But from what I see you depend on D-wade a little bit too much. . .

He is. I had him in one of my associations. He didn't play a lot of minutes, but every time he got close, he scores. He's one of my bench players, but he would still lead other scorers. I had fun with him for two years, until the sucker demanded a larger contract and forced me to throw him to free agency, where he remained for the next season.
