First QuarterIndiana began the game well with Mike Dunleavy hitting every single one of his shots (10 points total) from both the field and the free throw line. The Pistons seemed to lack their regular passion to win the game and due to this Indiana got out to a 25-10 lead. In the final 2 minutes of the quarter, their passion grew back all thanks to a play by Ben Gordon, Rodney Stuckey and Tayshaun Prince. Ben Gordon stole the ball from T.J. Ford, passed the ball up to Rodney Stuckey who threw a perfect alley-oop to Tayshaun Prince for the jam. This evoked roars from the crowd and hyped up the Pistons whom scored a further 9 points in the final 2 minutes to narrow the lead to 4. The Pistons were down at the end of the quarter, 25-21.

Tayshaun Prince on the beautiful alley-oop from Rodney StuckeySecond QuarterThe Pistons came out this quarter ready to play, playing off their run from the previous quarter. This quarter saw the defensive abilities of Ben Wallace and the scoring abilities of Rodney Stuckey begin to show. Ben Wallace blocked 4 shots this quarter, most notably one which saw the ball fly directly into the 5th row, catching a man drinking a soda off guard. Rodney Stuckey was punishing the Pacers scoring 10 points all off lay-ups and dunks. The Pacers however were still in the game thanks to persistent play by Danny Granger. At the half the score was 47-44, Detroit's way.

Ben Wallace on the put-back dunkThird QuarterThe third quarter was tightly contested with both teams going back and forth, point for point. Chris Anderson played the entire quarter and scored 10 points to go with a tremendous block on Danny Granger. Granger stole the ball from Stuckey, raced down court for an easy dunk, only to be surprised by the Birdman soaring through the air for a huge block. Charlie Villanueva was pulling down boards in this quarter, with a ferociousness that hasn't been seen from him since his 52 point night. He pulled down 8 boards in the quarter. Ben Wallace was also scoring well, scoring 8 in the quarter. Brandon Rush was also scoring well, scoring 15 of his teams 22 points. The Piston's were up going into the final period of regulation, 69-66.

"Birdman" Chris Anderson rejecting Danny Granger on his fast break dunk attemptFourth QuarterThe Pistons gritty play, most notably the gritty play of Rodney Stuckey was what solidified the win for them. In what would seem to be a tightly contested final quarter, Rodney Stuckey was going to the line on nearly every play, sinking all but one of his 12 free throws. Stuckey after his 11 points off free throws wasn't done, he was throwing more alley-oops, he was throwing amazing lob and bounce passes for easy baskets and in the end amassed a total of 12 assists. Ben Wallace was also slamming them down, off the Rodney Stuckey passes. Thanks to tremendous defensive play from Ben Wallace and the "take it to the rack" attitude of Rodney Stuckey, along with his fantastic passing, the Pistons won the game 91-83.
