MINNEAPOLIS - The scores seems unrealistic for these two teams, but both showed potential hoops. Huge bench production of Clippers against the balanced scoring for the Wolves, yet the Clippers prevail.

Maybe one of the most bench scoring of the history, Clippers' bench shared their 83 points of their total, 142, but only 21 for the Wolves. The bench was led by Steve Blake who had been sensational these last few games, he ended up a 26 points, 8 assists performance. Don't be fooled by the following stats, 23 points, 5-9 from trifector, Steve Novak a.k.a Video Game shocked the Minneapolis city by coming off the bench and from an injury and shined. Novak set a career-high for points, he played the full third quarter and scored 14 of his all in all points. "No wonder, Video Games was his nick, he was streaky and deadly, I trust him a lot, not only him, but all of my players." Dunleavy said. Eric Gordon added 22 of his own including 7 steals, Chris Kaman had 19 points an 6 rebounds, Drew Gooden who went perfect from the field, 6-6 scored 13 points off the bench. As you can see, the bench outcasted the starters that night.

Clippers started the first slowly, their shots were blocked and wasted, Wolves led by one point 28-27. But sooner, no one expected that Mike Dunleavy subbed in five of his bench to replace the starters for the whole second quarter. The killing begin and Clippers ended the quarter 36-18. "Glad it worked pefectly." the coach smiled in the interview. The Clippers went 16-28 from three-point range, and as of now, they lead the league in three-point FG. Swatted 13 shots compared to only one of the Wolves.

Ryan Gomes play hard till the end and tallied team-high 23 points, joined by Kevin Love who had double-double 22 points and 11 boards. Newly acquisition from Trailblazers, Rudy Fernandez had 20 points, 4-8 from trifector. The Spaniard seemed to be adjusted for the Wolves and playing great. Al Jefferson was out with a injury and didn't play that game.

This win for the Clippers also help them to surpass the .500 mark, they are now 12-11. Wolves still playing poorly in the season and dropped to 7-13.

Udonis Haslem injured for the rest of the season
The Miami Heat is sucking very badly right now and suddenly a tragic came, Udonis Haslem injured his knee and reportedly will not recover throughout the season. Haslem is averaging for about 5.9 points, 8.7 coming off the bench as the Heat's sixth man. Heat now is facing more troubles and finding a replacement for the forward. The team now is holding a dismal 11-19 record, last at their division.

Carlos Boozer : I'm testing the free agency next off-season
Carlos Boozer posted a tweet on his account and says he opts out and will find his new team in the off-season. This summer is a pool of superstars playing for their last contract. Jazz somehow is playing well (not really well) and accepted Boozer's decision. Energetic forward is currently averaging 18.3 points, 11.6 rebounds on .552% shooting, this attributes will surely help wherever Booz land. Teams that looking to buy Boozer services are Knicks, Bulls, Heat, Kings, or Wolves.

All-Star Saturday Events, participants announced

January 26, 2010 - With about a span of few weeks before the All-Star celebration, the much coveted All-Star Saturday Events participants was announced yesterday, somehow couple of events was been cancelled due to its lack of popularity. It includes the Playstation Skills Challenge, Haier Shooting Stars and the Geico H.O.R.S.E. Competition. "We are cancelling those few events because as we see, people are much awaiting for the 3-point shooutout as well as the Slamdunk competition, I don't think the evicted events will return for the next years." commissioner Davis Stern announced.

The same day as Stern announced the cancellation, he also announced the participants for the remaining events. The Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout will be composed of league leading in three-point percentage, rookie T.Y. Lawson, league-leader in three-pointers made from Pacers, Danny Granger, sharpshooter from Celtics Ray Allen, sophomore Eric Gordon, rookie standout Stephen Curry and shooter J.J. Redick from Magic, last year defending champion Daequan Cook will unable to participate due to family issues. The fan favorite Sprite Slamdunk Competition will include four highflyers, defending champion now in Celtics, Nate Robinson, energetic Shannon Brown, rookie bigman Blake Griffin from the Clippers and lastly returning to the scene again Amar'e Stoudemire. These two events will be held on Cowboys Stadium on February 13th, while the All-Star game will be on Valentine's Day.
