THE 2010 PLAYOFF CONTEST:

This contest will take place in this thread only. Not the Bobcats thread. This thread.

All you have to do is make a bracket (playoffs are best of 5-7-7-7) and the person who comes the closest will be featured in the 2010 draft.

Use my prediction as a template:

Round 1:
West:
(1) Dallas vs. (8) Portland - Dallas wins in 3.
(2) LA Lakers vs. (7) Golden State - LA wins in 4.
(3) San Antonio vs. (6) Utah - San Antonio wins in 4.
(4) New Orleans vs. (5) PHOENIX - Phoenix wins in 5.
East:
(1) Boston vs. (8) New York - Boston wins in 4.
(2) Cleveland vs. (7) Orlando - Cleveland wins in 3.
(3) CHARLOTTE vs. (6) Chicago - Charlotte wins in 4.
(4) Washington vs. (5) Toronto - Toronto wins in 5.

Round 2:
West:
(1) Dallas vs. (5) PHOENIX - Phoenix wins in 7.
(2) LA Lakers vs. (3) San Antonio - LA wins in 6.
East:
(1) Boston vs. (5) Toronto - Boston wins in 5.
(2) Cleveland vs. (3) CHARLOTTE - Charlotte wins in 6.

Western Conference Finals:
(2) LA Lakers vs. (5) PHOENIX - Phoenix wins in 7.

Eastern Conference Finals:
(1) Boston vs. (3) CHARLOTTE - Charlotte wins in 6.

NBA Finals:
(3) CHARLOTTE vs. (5) PHOENIX - Charlotte becomes new NBA Champions in 6 games.

Yep, the 86 game season is some weird glitch that happens when you add a 30th team in Live 2003 (The Bobcats aren't in the game orignally as they formed in 2004)

But yes, Boston is on fire.

BD, the first round of the playoffs can only go to 5 games, like back in the old days.

Yeah it's 03, and z02's scores for his recaps reach up to the 150's, 160's at times. Tried telling him to play lower minute quarters, but he's too stubborn to take my advice.

You haven't read my recaps lately, have you Axel? Most scores hover between 90 and 120 now with 6-7 min. quarters. Sometimes I even bump it down to 5. Only really important games or games I really want to play I jump to 9 or 10 minutes.

Well, haven't checked out the scores for some reason, but I do read the paragraphs. But yeah, looking back, I guess it's fixed.

How do you decide who wins? Point system?

Durantula, you're going for a lot of sweeps aren't you? :D

You said the Lakers would win against SAS but you advanced SAS. Mistake?

Yeah, pretty much what I do is I look at what you've predicted, I give you a point for the correct team winning and another point for getting the number of games right.
