Re: HEAT (6-5): WADE LIFTS HEAT TO 2ND STRAIGHT WIN

A great game by Wade with a nice 30+ game, try and keep that form up! Also, a really nice comeback too. One of the most gut-wrenching moments for me in 2K9 is if the opponent has the ball with the last 5 seconds of play, and goes for a perimeter shot.. My heart just dies for a second as I watch the ball travel towards the basket, and I just hope to hell that it hits the rim and bounces off.

I like it when you're the one who is down by say... 2 points. With 3 seconds left you give the ball to your best shooter. You release the ball and the horn goes off.... And its in!

Wow moment. (Y)

Good job keeping Melo under .50%. Seems like you get into it more. I think you should not make anymore deals now and just play and hopefully you'll win more games to make the playoffs. Keep it up (Y)

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - Dwyane Wade sure remembers the last time the Utah Jazz and Miami Heat faced each other, and on this night, he delivered an unforgettable performance.

Wade attacked the Jazz defense early and often and poured in 52 points in only three quarters as the Miami Heat pummeled Utah, 109-84. Miami has now won three straight, which is their longest winning streak of the season.

The Heat split the two-game season series with the Jazz, 1-1. Utah won the first game, 93-73.

He had 10 after the first quarter, then scored 19 in the second before helping the Heat pull away, scoring 23 of the Heat's 28 points in the third frame, relentlessly attacking the rim and scoring on an array of dunks and layups. He also dished out 5 assists and shot 23-of-30 from the field.

Deron Williams had 24 points and 9 assists and looked to be in a shootout with Wade in the first half, but in the end couldn't keep up.

"Such a great player," Williams said. "He kicked our butts tonight."

Jermaine O'Neal and Udonis Haslem each had 10 points and 7 rebounds for Miami.

It was announced after the game that Sun Yue has signed another 10-day contract, and might be signed for the rest of the season. Sun had 4 points and 5 assists.

Chris Tiu will be called back up to the Heat once the second 10-day contract of Sun expires.

RUMOR: MAGLOIRE ON HIS WAY OUT?

Image

MIAMI, FL - There has been a rumor posted on NBA.com that center Jamaal Magloire may be on his way out of the Miami Heat. The report was first posted on the rumor mill after the Heat's win over the Utah Jazz. It further states that a deal has been agreed and the team will be receiving JR Giddens.

"There are no truth to these rumors," GM Isaiah Cruz said. "We are not actively shopping Jamaal Magloire and he's not one of the players on the trading block. We like his contributions to the team and I think he might most likely stay until the end of the season."

i might have to end doing game-by-game recaps because its a little time consuming and i do have a life too  i might be going to weekly recaps after i post the recap of my latest game.

although i might do game recaps on "premium" matchups against top-tier teams and rivals still.

or do you guys have any suggestions on how i should do it? i really wanna move this association forward too haha

Do whatever you need to do to keep yourself moving the association forward, weekly re-caps are good because they're not as time consuming to read either, but the game recaps on big matches sounds like a good idea too. Take it whatever way you'd like to, just as long as you're still enjoying yourself when you do it. :)

TORONTO - Chris Bosh missed a potential game-tying shot as Miami escaped Toronto with an 86-84 win that wasn't expected in the eyes of those who watched the game.

The Raptors were controlling the game early throughout, grabbing a 24-8 lead at the end of the first and led 69-51 with a little over two minutes left in the third quarter. The Heat had sent their reserves in to give the starters a rest, and it proved to be the game's turning point. The Heat bench led an inspiring 14-0 run to cut the lead to four, 69-65, heading into the fourth. The starters returned and continued the run, eventually grabbing the lead and stretching it to 75-69, making it a 24-0 run by Miami.

Overall since the 69-51 deficit, the Heat outscored Toronto, 35-15.

Dwyane Wade had 26 points and 13 assists. Luc Mbah a Moute was pivotal in the run and scored 12 points and grabbed 6 boards.

CHRIS TIU CALLED UP FROM D-LEAGUE

Image

WASHINGTON, DC - Heat guard Chris Tiu was called up from the Sioux Falls Skyforce D-League team and will be in uniform tonight as the Heat end their two-game road trip against the Washington Wizards.

Tiu averaged 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists in three games with the Skyforce. With Miami he averaged 7.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists.

"We decided to end his first D-League stint early," GM Isaiah Cruz said. "It was a coaching decision suggested by Erik Spoalstera."

"We liked the reports that the Skyforce gave us regarding Tiu," Spoalstera said. "And we felt that the toughness that Tiu brings on the court could further help the development of Sun Yue."

The Heat plan on signing Sun Yue at the for the rest of the season after his second 10-day contract expires.

To make room on the roster, the Heat have placed troubled center Jamaal Magloire on the injured list.

A 24-0 run?! Top effort, I don't think I've ever done better than a 12-0 run, what tough defence you must of had. Congratulations on the win against the Raptors, I would consider that a nice ego-boosting comeback galore win. :P Nice record so far too, keep up the 5 game winning streak, and I'm interested in seeing how Tiu performs for your team. :)
