Well, I started my Association (Alby`s roster & sliders) with Miami Heat. After "couple" of trades "my Miami" is:
PG: D.Rose/J.Bayless
SG: B.Roy/E.Gordon
SF: K.Durant/K.Azubuike/A.Tucker
PF: A.Stoudemire/C.Landry/T.Thomas
C: G.Oden/J.Petro

Well, quite a good team, but even after 20 games and 15-5 score, team chemistry is still around 6%. And every player have -1 or -2 rating. With every win, team chemistry goes up by 1%, but with every loss it goes down by 4-5%. WTH is going on with that???

Oh, yes, and every time I try to "develope" any player with close & midrange shooting or 3-pointers, more than 80% of balls doesn`t even reach the basket. So many damn airballs! And I cannot fint answer for that in this forum...

I would go with Bulls since they are your favourite team :P Then you can tinker with the roster as you wish.

well, what i mean by ownage pgs are basically...PG PGs...if you get what i mean
Wizards have the most "un-PG" PG in Arenas (scoring PG)
but i cant really decide between the four teams..maybe i'll draw them outta a hat or something

Well look at this team .. I mean its clear that there is no chemistry. You pulled many trades and acquired players that just cannot exist together on one team.

Roy, Durant, Stoudemire and Rose are all Franchise players. I think its good that the game takes this into consideration and kind of "punsihes" you with a bad chemistry. Your Starting Five could be an All-Star Starting 5 in 4-5 years (okay, they are East and West, but you know what I mean).

Why dont you try to bring in more role players and about 1-2 stars and some talent, like most NBA teams just have it.

Valor, go with the Bulls then. Your all favourite team and further they are not only Rose. Rose is important but you wont win by just jacking up shots with him. Youll need to try to get a decent low post scorer and you have lots of gifted players you can deal like Noah, Thomas, Hinrich, Hughes. Should be fun :)

Well, nice suggestion. I will start it all over as soon as Albys make new rosters and sliders. Thanx.

I'm almost at the playoffs in my Raps chise. I am 67-14 with one game left, which is against Cleveland. I've already locked up home court throughout the playoffs. I am really looking forward to starting the playoffs.

I'm on 4 game road trip, winnig against the Nets and losing to the Pacers and the Bulls. I beleive the next game is against the Bucks.
The Bulls game was a deja vu, as I was again down by two with around 5 seconds left in regulation. This time though, Jrich missed his shot.
So my record is now 4-2.

Oh and I signed Mutombo to a one year deal. :scold:

Okay I played the Pistons and lost by 8 points although they were without AI. Stuckey came up big just like in real life and I think I just did not deserve the win. We didnt execute well on offense.

But after that we played the Celtics and hell yeah .. finally a win on this roadtrip. 85-76 in a defensive minded game. Dirk had a career high grabbing 25 (!) boards! I mean this sounds kind of unrealistic .. but hes averaging about 9.5 this season which is only 1 over his career average in real life ... but with the big three choking big time FG%-wise he just grabbed a ton of boards.
25p and 25r for him. Howard added 28. Nice game.

After that we went back home to face the Warriors. This game was quite fun. I just tried to keep up the tempo they dictated and thus played with a small lineup with Dirk at C and George at PF.(Biedrins was in foul trouble all the time .. putting Dirk at C was a mismatch all the time against Brendan Wright). So the game went up and down and we were up by 3 with 5 seconds left, but Maggette drained a WIIIIIIDE open three (how did he get open?) and forced OT.
In OT we simply owned them. 110-106. Jason Kidd had his 2nd triple double of the season: 15points, 15boards, and 16 assists. He was simply amazing. I love this guy .. I want to resign him but I hope he does not want to much money.

buzzy, nice addition in Mutombo. You lost to the PacerS? Hell Granger is just sick in this game I guess he was their main man again. Remember the last game were he killed me with a buzzer beating three with Stack ALL over him ...

It's actually pretty cool since the Pacers had some surprise wins in real life too.
And yes, Granger was their man, he made shots with a hand in his face all night.

I forgot to add: Steve Nash suffered a bruised hip in the Bulls game, but fortunately it's not too severe, he's Day-to-day, and he's only lost 6 points in his overall. I'll still start him next game.

Gallinari seems to do it all for you off the bench. Not many changes but thats what I like .. its realistic. Nate seems to be underachieving .. you could trade him .. his value is nice.

What are your rookies like? Always interesting to draft some guys and look how they do in the league. Keep it up.

Well after a my last game against the Warriors I was able to win my 3rd straight beating the Heat ... not many points .. something like 90-85. Dirk had 32 points again. He was named Western Player of the month for the first time after being player of the week two times in January. His first award. LeBron had all three player of the month in the East so far .. hes doin fine.

So before my first game in January I trained some players. After two workout to strenghten his driving and dunking, Josh Howard trained his quickness and his ball handling this time. Desagana Diop trained his Post D. I really want to keep him and make him a decent defensive force when Dampier leaves.

I also have a trade worked out .. but Im still not too sure about it .. the Pacers would offer me Marquis Daniels for Jerry Stackhouse. Stack is not satisfied with his role so far and despite his abitlity to produce on the offensive end I dont need him necessarily (Green, Terry are good scorers, too).. whilst Marquis is solid on both ends of the court and 6 years younger. Further I like the fact that he was picked up by Dallas and really turned out to be a solid player here. He would also not mind to be a role player which is nice. His D would be interesting for me ... the Pacers would receive an expiring contract which helps them .. imho they get the better end in this trade so maybe I would ask them to throw in a 2nd rounder .. what do you think ?!

Daniels and pick for Stack should be a pretty good trade.
Talking trades: I put Goran Dragic on the Block - I didn't even know him before so I wasn't expecting much for him. He averaged about 1 point per game so far, I really didn't think any team would be interested in him. After some days I checked the offers and the Hawks and the Nuggets offered my Acie Law and Linas Kleiza, respectively. I was like wtf and traded him for Kleiza immediately. I also signed Jeff McInnis to a minimum deal.
I'm now pretty stacked, here's my rotation.

Steve Nash/Leandro Barbosa/Jeff McInnis
Jason Richardson
Matt Barnes/Linas Kleiza/Grant Hill/Jared Dudley/Alando Tucker
Amare Stoudemire/Louis Amundson
Shaquille O'Neal/Robin Lopez/Dikembe Mutombo

The one SG and 5 SFs look bad right now, but of course I'm playing Barbosa, Hill and Barnes on SG too.

I already won a great game against the Grizzlies with this lineup, Kleiza had 20 in his debut.

Okay, your awesomely stacked, but just in case you plan to play this association for longer, your best players are quite old. Looks like a Championship run this year and maybe next year but not longer ;)

You pretty much raped the CPU ^^ but hey if they offer you Kleiza and you like him its okay. Hes also on the trading block in real life. But I dunno why Dragic should help the Nuggets ... maybe they saw more potential in him and he will be Billups' successor :)

So is nobody complaining about his PT? Imho guys like Barnes, Kleiza, Hill and Barbosa could have problems if they dont play enough ... just like Stack and Damp do for my Mavs.

Ok, here's my Bucks association roster:

Starting 5:

C - Andrew Bogut (15 / 11)
My inside option no.1. He may not be spectacular, but he usually puts it in without a fuss.

F - Charlie Villanueva (10 / 10 / 5 as / 1.7 bl)
I tend to underuse him. But he's the perfect allrounder for me. I can use him on offense and defense alike.

F - Richard Jefferson (28 / 4 / 4 as / .56 3pt% / .60 fg%)
My superstar. After I sent Redd away for Webster and a first-round-pick, he became my best option on offense. I was really surprised by his 3pt-ability. But his shooting stroke is pure genius. It feels just natural.

G - Martell Webster (19 / 3 / 2 bl / .45 3pt%)
I love his quick release. Also, he's really great at blocking most other SG's when the clock runs out.

G - Ramon Sessions (9 / 3 / 11.3 as)
I can't seem to find my shooting rhythm with him. But he distributes the ball awesomely.

bench:

PF/C - Chris Wilcox (10 / 8 / 1.8 bl / 4.8 as / .58 fg%)
G - Charlie Bell (9 / 2 / 6 as)
G - Daniel Gibson (10 / 1 / 5.5 as)
F - Joe Alexander (6 / 3)
F/G - Ersan Ilyasova (4 / 2 / .55 3pt%)
C - Dan Gadzuric (3 / 3 / 1.3 bl / .62 fg%)
G/F - Mickael Gelabale (4 / 1 / 1.0 bl)

inactive:

G - Kareem Rush (4 / 1 / .44 3pt%)

I am currently 12-2, which is a bit disappointing, because I thought it would be a bit more challenging. So I switched to the next higher difficulty two games ago. Won them both against Boston (I think) and Orlando. :D Still, it's awesome fun to play this game. The only thing that kinda bugs me is that I ALWAYS score over 100, although I turned the AI defensive sliders all the way up.

Okay, I swept the Sixers in four straight in the first round, then I swept Milwaukee in four straight in the second round, and I just swept Orlando in four straight in the Eastern Conference Finals. I now have a playoff record of 12-0. I now face Greg Oden and the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Finals.

debiler, nice trade. Very realistic and I dont know many guys who give up their franchise player. Maybe you need to adjust your shooting sliders ... I mean RJ at 60% is really sky-high ..scoring +100 every time aint normal either imho (at least I am not blessed with such a badass offense ;) )

Why did you choose the Bucks ... I mean interesting choice, but we all know Milwaukee is like the most unpopular place in the NBA ^^. Are you a supporter?

Ive lost to the Magic and the Blazers .. both games not really close .. 5-6 point losses. Just could not get good shots ... my offense is my problem right now which sucks because a long time I had problems rebounding and now Ive really managed to grab those boards .. and the offense doesnt work anymore. Dirk is still hot like fire .. but the others do not contribute regularly.
Terry cold, Howard average, Stack cold, Kidd freezin ice-cold, since his triple double he is shooting like .20% from the field.

I have 2 weeks left to get some deals finalized and it looks like Marquis Daniels is pretty much a Mav .. Im still looking wether or not other trades would be good, but I think I will get Marquis.

raptorsfan21, well your on a nice run. Good job. Seems to be too easy for you ;)

Well, all the other guys on my team (except Sessions, can't get anything to fall) shoot decent percentages. So I don't think it has to do with my sliders, which are quite average. But I just can't miss with Jefferson. If he's open, he hits it. Every time. I just love his shot animation, it feels fluent.
And no, I'm not a Bucks fan. As a matter of fact, I support the Mavs, just like you. (Coincidence, since we're both from Germany...) But I like the appearance of players like Villanueva, Bogut, Jefferson and Gadzuric.
That's why I signed Gelabale, he looks cool. Their ratings aren't bad either. ;)

Well I lost my 3rd in a row. 110-106 against the Jazz. Ak47 was lights out 25 and 10 for him. Dirk had 33 points once again but just not enough.

Before this game I wanted to trade Jerry Stackhouse for Marquis Daniels a 2010 2nd rounder but the Pacers didnt want to do it. But suprisingly they countered my offer and added a 09 2nd rounder of me to the trading table. No problem for me since we already have Houstons first rounder this offseason and I think the Pacers 2nd rounder will always be a higher pick than our.

So Marquis had a quiet but very decent debut scoring 19 points on 9-11 shooting, 1-2 3PT and added 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. I like him. He is a better defender than Stack, I like his release more (its quite fluid) and he just looks cool with his dreads ;) But he is a bit slower on offense than Stack ....

I am now up to a 3-0 lead on Portland in the finals, giving me an overall playoff record of 15-0. I need just one more win to take my second championship in a row.

Well, I won the championship with a clean sweep of Portland, giving me a final playoff record of 16-0! I have now won two championships in a row. Here's what happened in my offseason. First off, Robert Horry retired. I kind of expected that, though. I then declined the option on Kelvin Cato. On the other hand, Chris Bosh accepted his player option. I then released all of Vitaly Potapenko, Andrea Bargnani, Ray Allen, Dion Washington and Kelvin Cato. The CPU re-signed Cato and Potapenko for me later on, though. In the draft, I selected Noel McDonald in the first round and Horace Bell in the second. I did not sign either of those players. When free agency came around, I saw that Lebron had declined the offer from Cleveland. That made me excited, because it looked like I would get a chance to sign Lebron. However, when the free agency period actually started, I saw that Lebron re-signed with Cleveland. Oh well. Easy come, easy go. I then made offers to free agents Lamarcus Aldridge, Joe Johnson and Ben Wallace. Out of those three, I was able to sign Aldridge to a five year contract.. Wallace signed with Orlando while Johnson went to the Thunder. I then signed Shareef Abdur-Rahim to a one year contract. The CPU then signed Jerome James to a one year contract for me. I probably won't be playing James at all. I then traded Jason Kapono to Utah for Kyle Korver. Finally, at the start of the preseason, I used my mid level exception to sign Luke Ridnour to a one year contract. Therefore, my new roster is as follows:

Chris Bosh
Lamarcus Aldridge
Anthony Parker
Shawn Marion
Roko Ukic
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Kris Humphries
Clarence Baldwin
Kyle Korver
Luke Ridnour
Vitaly Potapenko
Kelvin Cato
Jerome James

As you guys can see, I've brought in five new players.

Good job on bringing the trophy to TOR once again. Why does the CPU sign players for you? I mean Jerome James and Vitaly Potapenko arent the guys I want the CPU to sign for me.
Your squad is still quite talented but imho not championship team right now. Well see wether or not you get the threepeat done.

Ive lost my 4th game in a row to the Bulls. Hinrich was freaking hot from downtown. 7-15. Sick. Well I hope I can turn things around soon or the playoffs will be in danger.

Had a showdown against the Rockets. 2 of the four best teams in the League squaring of, only Golden State and Washington are better ( I know).
It was a hard battle till the last seconds, Yao and Alston weres on fire all night, TMac not so much.
Last seconds I was down two, but they had the ball. I had to foul and send them to the line and hope the best.
I fouled Rafer Alston, he missed both shots, I started a fast break and just attacked the basket with JRich. Hit two free throws to tie the game. About 2 seconds left.
After a TO they swung it to Rafer. He hit a three point buzzer-beater from at least five feat behind the line to burn me.
Richardson was completely in his face. Incredible shot.

So Rafer Alson missed the chance to seal the game at the line, but comes back to hit an unbelieavble shot to sink me.

My next game was against the Kings in Sacramento, I completely blew them out. They had no chance guarding Amare - He dropped 50 on them. (Tied his career high).

Hova-, good luck on getting back on track. What's your record and where are you at in the season?

Tough loss against the Rockets. Its quite often that you just are all over the shooter when he takes the last shot and he just drains it. But it happens in real life .. almost every game winning shot is contested (remember Granger @the Suns 2 days ago). Good bounce back against the Kings. Amare must be awesome to play with. He was injured last time I met the Suns so he couldnt kill me that way.

Well Im at 25-25 (or 25-26 not too sure) and one game before the ASG. I will post the All-Stars later on here. Quite realistic they are. Only 2-3 decent players missing. Dirks in it 4 sure ;)
Im really playing all these 82 games, quite nerdy but I have to say that this game is fun to me, and right now, while Im on my civilian service, I just have nothing to do (learning or stuff) and is friggin cold, so I just play whenever I can and my girl lets me ;)

Im still looking for trades. But theres just nothing nice on the block right now. Well, I am a "realism first" so Im not willed to do any extravagant deals. But maybe some minor changes.
