Sun May 20, 2007 1:10 pm

That shows that this is a realistic dynasty. You beat the shit teams, but struggle vs the good teams. I like it (Y)

Sun May 20, 2007 6:09 pm

It's okay take your time. (Y) Glad to see your back, and Wade was killin' you in that game.
Good luck in the next game!

Sun May 20, 2007 9:23 pm

Good to have you back. Take your time... (Y)

Mon May 21, 2007 12:06 am

buzzy, Yeah, thanks man.

3PK, Well you know, Wade is Wade...

Scoop, Well, you know I didn't lose on purpose. You have to work very hard to win with Orlando Magic, since they don't have a trully reliable scorer. Here's a proof, that Live 07 has some realism :)

Sacke12, Thanks man, I'm allways glad to see you checkin' my dynasties...

S.R.N.O, Thanks man, you and Sacke have been the most consistant posters in my dynasties, thanks guys.

Thanks to all who check and post at my dynasty threads, I won the DOTY(Dynasty Of The Year), with My '07 Lakers, thanks to you...

The Orlando Magic end their pre-season with a loss to Houston Rockets. Magic ended the pre-season with a 3-5 record.
Orlando had a tough start offensively, but were able to hold off Rockets too. Both teams had low-scoring 1st quarter and couldn’t do anything about it. Though Rockets scored 8 points in the last two minutes for the fragile 4-point lead, entering the second quarter. Magic finished the quarter with 14 points.
Rockets were able to transfer the momentum to the second quarter, and did a very nice job there. Magic were able to execute more successfully offensively, getting into the paint and making hard baskets, but Rockets were more powerful offensively. They managed to score 28 points and outscore Orlando by nine for a 13 point lead, heading into the second half. Houston was led by Tracy McGrady who finished the half with 15 points, J.J. Redick led Orlando with 11 points, heading into the second half.
Houston were rolling again in the third quarter, though Magic showed some resistance, even if it wasn’t something special. Orlando lost the quarter by 4 managing to score 26 points in the quarter. Yao Ming completely dominated the boards till the last quarter, collecting 18 of his 19 rebounds in the 1st three periods.
The last quarter, was a whole lot different then the whole game. Orlando came in motivated and ready to play. Even that they were loosing by 17, entering the quarter, they managed to find energy and motivation. Hedo Turkoglu and Dwight Howard were leading their team to success. Turkoglu made all of his 3 treys in that period to game his team back to the game. Orlando managed to cut the lead down to 3 points, with 1:31 to go. But Rockets’ McGrady managed to make very tough contested jumpers, when his team needed and hold off Orlando Magic for the win in pre-season finale…

Mon May 21, 2007 5:40 pm

Gee this is a very tought start, are you playing your best players with as many minutes as they will and i think you should chuck Hill into the starting 5 and maybe test out ariza at SG for a game anyway great dynasty keep it up :D

Mon May 21, 2007 9:28 pm

Slizz, Well so far, my biggest troubles are 3pt shooting and rebounding, these should be the keys to my victories...

Anthony15, Hell yeah...

3PK, Well Hill was in the starting lineup, in preseason games, box scores show the last lineup you were using, not starting five...

Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate your support...

The Orlando Magic began their regular season with a loss to Chicago Bulls.
Magic had a successful first quarter, winning it by 11, but loosing the second by ten and it was a single point lead after the first two periods.
Orlando got to a quick start in the third making a 8-0 run. But Chicago didn’t keep it like this anymore. They overtaken the game quickly and managed to take the lead to their hands. Ben Gordon led the team in the quarter. Bulls game looked almost perfect, but they had no stroke from the perimeter, their powerful offensive weapon. That let Magic to still stay in the game and make it only a two point deficit entering the last period.
Dwight Howard was doing everything for his team to win in the last period. Though his team-mates didn’t show such effort and Magic couldn’t get the lead back. Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon were keeping Bulls’ lead, whole quarter long and didn’t gave Orlando a chance to overtake it. Though, Magic were able to down it back to two with fifty seconds to go, but they couldn’t execute offensively anymore and were forced to face the loss…

Not a great start to the season, but Chicago are a good team and you only lost by 2 so I think it was a fair effort (Y)

I like the info about the team that you have at the top of the recap. This continues to get better!

Mon May 21, 2007 9:54 pm

Nice game by Dwight!

Tue May 22, 2007 12:02 am

Oh man ,two tough losses in a row. :x Dwight is doing his thing for you, but I think you need one more player who scores 20 points regulary. Good luck in the next game! (Y)

Tue May 22, 2007 12:10 am

ohh that was close. :) Howard was hot though (Y)

I really think you should try to trade for a player with FSS outside scorer, because you are obviously struggling with this kind of team. Maybe try getting Gordon, Hughes, or even Jason Richardson.

Good luck :D

Tue May 22, 2007 1:43 am

Scoop, Well in my DOTY '07 Lakers I had the same recap's, too bad you didn't notice it...

King_Lebron, Yeah, he's a monster at boards...

Sacke12, You are completely right, that player should be either Hedo, Grant, Jameer or J.J.

S.R.N.O, Yeah, one of my goals is to purchase or turn some player into a FSS outside scorer, this would help me a lot. I'd love to get Gordon, I'm a huge fan of him, but until I get a trully realistic trade it's just words...

Thanks for the comments guys, you know I really love it!

76ers-93

The Orlando Magic celebrated their first win this season, against Philadelphia 76ers.
Orlando had a stronger 1st, but a weaker second quarters. This lead to a small 3 point lead entering the second half. Grant Hill had scored 9 points in the first two, Green of the Sixers had 8.
Orlando executed a little worse offensively in the third quarter, but their defense didn’t change at all, this led to a 20:22 quarter and a very fragile 1 point lead, heading into the last quarter. Dwight Howard scored 6 in the quarter, Turkoglu had 9 in the quarter. While Orlando had a couple of guys leading the team through the game, Philly[/i] played a really team-basketball without their star [u]Andre Iguodala.
Orlando Magic completely exploded in the last quarter, making Philly pay for their pressure defense. Hedo Turkoglu had many open shots, which he made easily, the only problem was missing contested lay-ups under the basket, mostly by Grant Hill, Jameer Nelson and J.J. Redick. But Orlando managed to kill Philly with their powerful offense and took the win by 15 points.

Oh hell yeah now youre on fire starting this one. Nice win and monster game by Howard in the loss. I think a outside scoring option is really necessary, try to get Gordon, but actually you do not have many things the Bulls may want.
Good luck in your next games !! Loving the pics quality/your graphic card.

Tue May 22, 2007 3:10 am

Man you beat my Sixers :( (N)

Nah just kidding. (Y) for the first win of the regular season.

P.S that Nelson pic looks very next-genish

Tue May 22, 2007 4:01 am

Yes, nice win. Howard was a monster once again, and you got Turkoglu to score 25 points. Now keep this momentum into the next game and get on a streak! (Y) (Y)

Tue May 22, 2007 5:28 am

hova-, As I mentioned before, until I get a very realistic trade, it's only words...

S.R.N.O, Yeah it does... So does this:

Sacke12, Yeah I'm trying to do that, next game in ATL...

Hawks-83

The Orlando Magic celebrate their second victory in a row, against Atlanta Hawks.
Hawks had a pretty good start in the first, winning it by 6 and entering the second quarter with momentum, but Orlando fired up and won the quarter by ten points for a four point lead, heading into the second half.
Hawks were stopped again and couldn’t execute offensively, but Orlando had some problems too. Even that they did a very good job defensively, they couldn’t make open jumpers, this lead to a 20:16 quarter over the Hawks. Grant Hill led his team in the period, collecting 8 points, Kenyon Dooling dished out 5 assists. Atlanta learned before the game, that they will be playing, without their offensive engine Joe Johnson and starter Zaza Pachulia, this took away confidence from them and that really was noticeable in the game.
Hawks were completely stopped from the perimeter in the game, they missed all of their 16 3pt field-goals, but Shawne Williams showed the best of him, getting 16 boards(9 offensive) and helping his team-mates staying alive in the game. Without him, only two Hawks were showing some effort Josh Smith and Marvin Williams. The young Hawks managed to get a pretty good offensive quarter and cut down the deficit to 2 points, with 1:39 left on the clock. Then Magic executed pretty well offensively and Turkoglu’s jumper with 1:24 left, gave big confidence to Magic. Atlanta missed their next opportunity, but Magic didn’t and raised their lead. With 0:30 seconds left it was all over and the Hawks accepted the defeat.
