Reply
Yeh my team are playing great together and i also think Billups has what it takes to win MVP but if you look on the 1st post i Have MVP Candidates, League Leaders, Standing etc and in the MVP candidates the Best Piston is 3rd. Thnx for the reply to

Nice wins, but it sucks about Howard. Oh well. This dynasty is turning out great! One more reply and your at the century mark!

Reply
Yeh it's tough without Howard because i have a much more fatugied team with only nine men.

Dear Readers,
Not to be at all cocky or iggnorant or anything like that but i am winning too easyily at the moment and then i was talking to Lamrock who gave me the idea of simulating the firtst three quarters then playing the last quarter on 12 minutes.

In the game against Lakers i am going to trial it, If i like the idea i will continue and if i don't i will go back to normal.

My settings have been updated on the 1st post if you are unclear on what i'm doing

What do you guys think :?:

P.S thanks for the idea Lamrock

First of all getting frequants recaps is something i pride myself on and it's got to be noticed for that (P.S i am about to do another match lol  )

Reagarding the intevention decision  I will be able to get through 29 games I already did 11 in like a week shouldn't be to hard. I also Have one strength and in my opinion it's my informative recaps so without them this dynasty is going nowhere, thats the reasoning behind my descision to not intervene game

P.S thanx for the reply

Summary
1st quarter Straight from the word go the pistons looked like they where on a mission but certainly Miami where matching them at both ends. Neither team was willing to give an inch in this contest. Then the Pistons went on a trademark run as the crowd helped them take a 8-2 lead after 3 minutes in what was a heavily defensive dominated game. The Pistons then turned it into a Fast tempo game, as they did this they where able to slowly increase there lead and then they went on a massive freakish run to have a 29-14 lead by the time 1st quarter was finished.

The pistons played another level above Miami as they hit the front by an astonishing 41 points when dirk hit a open three to bring up points number 50, 51 and 52 individually. The pistons then continued there run into the last quarter as they led 104-55

Sunday 7th January Detroit @ Clippers

Preview
The pistons are coming of two massive wins at home. Dirk will be looking to go back to back with 50 point games but overall his goal will be to pick up the win. The pistons will come in full of confidence so if the Clippers are going to win there are going to have to win the battle inside and force the Pistons guards to do a majority of the scoring which will more suit the Clips. 3PK’s Prediction Pistons win 95-81

Pistons starting 5
C- R. Wallace
PF- D. Nowitzki
SF- H. Turkoglu
SG- R. Hamilton
PG- C. Billups

Summary

The pistons then settled in and with 2 minutes to go Detroit where down by only 3 points 14-17. The Pistons then hit there comfort zone and by the 1st break had a 24-21 lead.

2nd Quarter In the second the pistons got out early and had a 8 point lead but from the it didn’t change from 6 or 8 points in favour of the pistons. Clippers  Chris Wilcox 3 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block

Although this had been Billups quarter all season as he quickly dished out two assists to take it back to an 8 point game. Before it became a scrappy match a slug-out something the Clips didn’t want. The pistons then slowly crawled out to a 12 point lead off the back of a 10-2 run and where looking that little bit better. Then they went mad on offence and had a 82-64 lead after 3 quarters.

4th Quarter In the last The clips where relentless on Offence but still couldn’t stop a Growing Pistons bench who ensure the lead was a big one. Soon the lead was out to 21 points, but the Clips weren’t prepared to stop there as they came coming and threatened single digits at one stage just before pistons hit a 6-0 run. Dirk then Came on to ensure a big win and in the process picked up 2 assists and a rebound to collect his first Piston triple-double as they went on to win comfortably 104-83.

Another big win. That is why Sim Intervene is such a great feature. You might have difficulty coming back from down 15, and you wouldn't have to write as much.

Dear Readers,
I am now in a situation of what to do should i intervene in the 3rd quarter and have really small not so great recaps but a more win lose stabilitized ratio.

Or should i have my in-depth recaps which are exciting and exclusive, the catch als i am winning to much in this and have already adjusted sliders. If i adjust the sliders even harder they won't miss a shot and it won't become fun for anyone, what's your opinion.

Please from someone otherwise then Lamrock or scoop because they seem to be my only frequant posters and i know where they stand on the Matter.

Thank you :D

P.S if you would like me to post a trial for each please tell me

might go by a little to fast. But you'll be able to go to the nest season faster. Good Work on The Dynasty (Y)

Tuesday 9th January Detroit @ Boston

Preview
The Pistons head to the famous Boston Garden to take on a youthful 7-3 Celtics who are a big chance to match the Pistons. The Celtic will have to contain Dirk Nowitzki who has raced up to Favourite for MVP honours and PG Chauncey Billups who now sits in the top five for that category and is in Career best form. Although it is definitely not impossible it’s going to be hard for Boston to win therefore 3PK’S pick is Pistons win 87-78

Pistons starting 5
C- R. Wallace
PF- D. Nowitzki
SF- H. Turkoglu
SG- R. Hamilton
PG- C. Billups

Boston Starting 5
C- C. Grant
PF- A. Jefferson
SF- G. Green
SG- P. Pierce
PG- S. Telfair

Pistons hold off Rampaging Celtics narrowly in last

Summary
1st Quarter In the 1st neither backing away as both teams fought desperately for the early buckets. Boston kept with Detroit as Big man and Sharpe shooter Hedo Turkoglu picked up his second foul stopping a dunking Gerald Green to put the pistons down to 0 SF’s early. The Celtics relished on this and took a 12-10 lead, the pistons then hit back but could never re-gain the lead until the last minute where they hit 4 consecutive 3’s which included a buzzer beater to put them 33-21 in what was a highly dominated Celtics quarter

2nd Quarter The Celtics came out proving they played better in the 1st quarter and to be down by 12 was an outrage. The pistons bench thrived on this though as Webber sank open shots from around the perimeter. But the Celtics kept getting to the line and with their 10/10 free throw they got the margin back to 7 points. The pistons then went basket for basket with the Celtics as the lead stayed around 6-8 points in favour of Detroit. The pistons then brought on a fresh unit and The Celtics handed them a spanking as the lead was back to 1 point (41-42) just a few minutes away from the end of the 1st half. Dirk then hit a big 3 but this could not even ignite the pistons as they went into the break up by 6 (52-46) with dirk only contributing 13 points and 2 rebounds.

Players at the half
Detroit  Chauncey Billups 6 points, 2 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals
Boston  Sebastian Telfair 11 points, 3 assists and 1 steal

3rd Quarter In the 3rd The pistons came out aggressive on offence and quickly had an 11 point lead. The Celtics where able to fight back though as they got back within 6 points but then the pistons went on a 6-0 run and saw the lead out to 71-59. The scoreboard did not reflect how hard the Celtics where playing as they kept the Pistons fighting and didn’t give up any easy baskets. Until later in the quarter when Detroit took advantage of an asleep Celtics outfit to take the lead out to a game high 17 points. Although a fighting Celtics team reduced it to 14 at the end of the third 69-83.

4th Quarter in the last both teams where scoring at a rapid rate and this meant there was a chance for Boston but they just couldn’t stop Detroit. As the pistons stabilized a 94-81 lead as both teams failed to score for about 2 minutes. Until one final Celtics surge brought them within 8 points with 2:30 minutes left. Boston then continued to stick with Detroit, until a pierce lay-up got them down by just 5. Flip finally called a time-out and brang on Dirk and Rasheed to prepare for one last Boston onslaught. The pistons then hit clutch free-throws and Boston came up short 104-98 due to late game execution from Paul Pierce who missed 3 uncontested three point attempts In the last minute.

3PK’s Game breaker:
Gerald Green  For the first time ever the Game breaker has gone to a losing team, although Boston Came up short the put in a gallant effort at then end and they would’ve never been there if Gerald hadn’t scored 30 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and dished out 3 assists

 Rasheed Wallace 12 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 4 steals

Friday 12th January Detroit @ Houston

Preview
Detroit head to Houston after holding a late surge against Boston 3 days before, The pistons could possibly face there toughest game of the season as Yao will limit Dirk and Wallace’s points whilst Mcgrady should cause a lot of match-up problems. Therefore 3PK’S prediction is Houston win narrowly 86-83

Pistons starting 5
C- R. Wallace
PF- D. Nowitzki
SF- H. Turkoglu
SG- R. Hamilton
PG- C. Billups

Rockets Starting 5
C- Y. Ming
PF- J. Howard
SF- S. Battier
SG- T. Mcgrady
PG- R. Alston

B.B Carp sets Houston Alight

Summary
1st Quarter On the 1st Play Houston Came out firing setting Battier up for the 1st points of the match, a big triple. Houston where out to prove a point as they dominated general play and early had an 8-2 lead. Luck and skill weren’t going the Pistons way as even with a surge and a big run they were still down 18-12. The pistons then put there foot to the pedal and drew level at 18 a piece. Both teams pushed in pursue of the lead heading into the 1st break but no-one got a solid advantage as Detroit went in leading 27-26 (Detroit only had 1 first quarter rebound).

2nd Quarter Webber found a touch on offence as he inspired the pistons with 1 assist and 3 goals of his own to give a 36-31 Detroit lead. Yao then re-entered and became the game Breaker as he prevented a simple Webber goal then assisted Battier for another 3 pointer (this drew scores level again). B.B carp began to show his shooting touch as Houston looked like they may have took the game in to there control as he quickly added a sharp 8 points on 3/3 shooting. Then Turkoglu and Mourning joined in as they made it 48-38 in favour of Detroit. The pistons then clicked into last gear as they went up amazingly by 15 points 55-40

Players at the half
Detroit  Chauncey Billups 9 points, 7 assists and 2 steals
Houston  Tracy McGrady 13 points and 1 assist

3rd Quarter Rockets began the road back into the game as they hit basket after basket just to get back to 12 points down. As if on que Houston began to get frustrated turning to ball over time after time. Detroit where not able to punish them as Houston kept a slim chance of being within striking distance going into the last. Billups then went mad and seeled the match right there and then with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter as he hit 3 consecutive 3 pointers to put Detroit up 81-54. Pistons then never let back and Houston looked a new addition to the teams Detroit had blown out as Rockets trailed 88-61.

4th Quarter In the last Detroit where not going to let down as there back ups proved they could get it done to get a 33 point lead. But Houston had to make it at least an attempt not only for them selves but also for the crowd. The rockets then made a brief but useful comeback as they had the lead less than 20 points with 2 minutes to go. Although B.B Carp had a point to prove as he destroyed Houston’s hope of a respectable score line as he got the pistons home 114-91 win.
