"The Pistons roll over the 76ers as soon as the ball was in the air. The ExChampions of the NBA had a great first quarter. On the other side the 76ers had their worst quarter start in the whole season/playoffs. They appeared to be very tired from the Celtics series specially the inside players such as Samuel Dalembert and Udonis Huslem. K.Korver was letting Tayshaun Prince opened adn couldn´t help to stop Richard Hamilton from scoring. The inside offence of the Pistons lead by Rasheed Wallce was making the difference. The Pistons took a early 10 point lead. But soon the Palace was sileced as the 76ers started to play a lot better they were able to stoped the Pistons and start seen the open men under the rim. Eddie House did a great job managing the clock and making the assists. Before the first half ended an occour situatuion happened as four players got injured for the 76ers Udonis Huslem and Dikember Mutombo had to left the court soon afterwards Detroit suffered two lost Derrick Coleman and Antonio McDyess. When the first half finished the 76ers had a confortable lead by 11 points. During the whole second part the 76ers rised up by getting a 12 point lead that Detroit would never reach. The 76ers controled the second part because their bench players were able to help the team to get some rest. Detroit was closed at the end of the game but they were short on the last couple of shots."

-Quotes-
"...this is what we needed after a long series with the Celtics we needed the bench to help us to get some rest...." Allen Iverson
"...It now or never. We need at least one game on the road because they are going hard on us next week" Allen Iverson
"...I was mad the first 12 minutes. This was like a rookie vs All Star game(...) but we find the game on the second quarter and finished the half with some great energy..." 76ers Coach
"..Its going to be hard not to help them the next game but I want to be good for the games at home..." Dikembe Mutombo
"They did a great job after the first minutes they really surprised us with their level of play..." Chauncey Billups
"This guy show that their are here to win and we need to be at that level if we want to get the next game." Larry Brown Pistons Coach

-STAYING POSITVE-
Auburn Hills - Detroit - Michigan

"Second Round of this Eastern Conference Finals and the 76ers took it again by playing as a grup the whole game. Right from the begining both teams play high level for Detroit Billups was there the whole game to put his team closer for the 76ers the whole players put everything to win the game the bench did great getting more than 25 points. The Pistons were able to get the open spaces to errase all the 76ers lead. Lindsey Hunter was able to help the Pistons as he was trouble to 76ers. But after the second part the 76ers took a 10 point lead that was enought to win the game the Pistons fail to put their game. The Pistons thought that they had the game in their hands but as soon as the 76ers took the ball things changed. For the second time the inside defence of Phily stop the big man of Detroit Ben Wallace who only scored 2 points in the whole game. If the Pistons want to get the next game they must stop U.Huslem and Samuel Dalembert."

-Quotes-
"We worked the whole year to get to this point and we are not going to get slip from our hands...not now not ever..." Allen Iverson
"I was able to make the points for the group...usualy I dont get so many points but tonight they needed me to be OK so I help the team more than the usual...." Andre Iguodala
"We were able to played our game with some great plays in the paint.[...] staying positive the whole run was what we needed." 76ers coach
"They really surprised us with the plays tonight they were able to stay free for the extra pass. We are traveling to their court so its going to be hard to get it but we have been there before." Chauncey Billups
"We are crush we thought that we were going to be up by now since in the season we got the series but I now see why they are here.[...] We need to change our game plan it was embarassed to see that eazy alley-up in the paint. They didnt play to their level." Larry Brown Pistons Coach

-ONE STEP CLOSER-
Wachovia Center - Philadelphia

"The 76ers took a comanding lead in this series as they get the 3d game and make the series 3-0 on their side. As the game started the 76ers wasted no time in showing that tonight was their night. Kenny Thomas a player that didn´t play much this Playoffs was the key player to grab the lead after the injury of Udonis Huslem he was put in the starting five and tonight he show his level of play. With strong inside plays and good defence he was able to scored 14 points in the first quarter. K.Korver another player that during this Playoffs wasn´t getting the usual points found the way to put the points on the scoreboard. The 76ers were able to found the open spaces. Detroit on the other hand wasn´t defending so well as they used to. The player that was taking the face for Detroit was Chauncey Billups who took change of his team by scoring. In the second quarter the 76ers found the way to maintain the lead and keep the strong guys in the bench by playing with their bench players who stop the Pistons and spent the time on the clock On the second part Detroit was playing very unstable as they came closer to the 76ers their fail on defending them. Why the 76ers won? Well they took the early advantage and keep the lead throught the whole game. Detroit well....let just say that they didn´t play their level."

-Quotes-
"...this is a great opportunity for all of us to go to the NBA Finals... this team gave me a lot of confidence to play better as we closed the game..." Allen Iverson
"Tonight I was albe to help my team by getting the points near the rim we had a good game and found the way to hurt the Pistons were they had their best defence..." Kenny Thomas
"We are all happy for the game result I think they didn´t thought of us as a posible winner so this has doble taste. We need to close this up at home that will be good for our fans." 76ers coach
"...all of the guys are down because we suppose to win this game now they are 3-0 and total control of the series. We are the ex-champions and tonight we didn´t show it..." Chauncey Billups
"...it was a total blow up since the start of this game they had the control of the game and with only 10 points they stuck with the lead and we cound´t take the game flow. He had some chances but they play great as the game was finishing. Now we are against the wall we need to do a lot to take this series..." Larry Brown Pistons Coach

-MAKING HISTORY-
Wachovia Center - Philadelphia
Image

"All the bets were on Detroit hand they had a better team/ bench and coach but the 76ers show to the world that they are still standing. Tonight they defeat the Pistons and got a 4-0 record to close this series and advance to the NBA Finals. In this last game the 76ers play a lot better than last one from the begining they started getting the three points and finding the open spaces for the extra pass. They run well the quick turnovers lead by the poor control of the Pistons. As the first quarter the 76ers finished with a 5 point lead. In the second quarter Udonis Huslem took the offence of the game as he scored 14 points. But the Pistons fighted back as the starting five were in the bench Billups and Wallace would provided the Pistons some offence to keep the opportunity to win the game. In the second part both team started to play their worst level as they fail to scored but the 76ers found some offence to keep the lead on they side. On the last quarter the 76ers keep the advantage and came with the win. With this game they close a historical series agains the powerfull Pistons and advance to the NBA Finals."

-Quotes-
"Finaly we are here!..after four years agains the Lakers we are here! NBA Finals I think we deserve this..this guy played hard the whole season for this opportunity now we must focus on the next Team." Allen Iverson
"During this series I was able to help the team and get the important points I wasn´t eazy Rasheed Wallace is a very tought guy to defend." Udonis Huslem
"...Im happy for the team we manage to close the series at home with a 4-0 and pass to the Finals since the 2001. During this series we were able to stablished our kind of game with good inside plays. This is a great opportunity for this grup to get the tittle (...) its going to be hard to play against Sacramento after they dispacth the best team in the West but we are going with full fuel." 76ers coach
"I don´t think they would be that offensive in this series they control us from the begining. Its a hard lose for us. Now we need to go home and think why we didn´t get this series and afterwards get some rest for next season that all.." Chauncey Billups
"I told the guys that they didn´t have nothing to lose we on the other hand were the ex-champions and had to play the same level last year but we fail to stay positive." Larry Brown Pistons Coach

"All the team are waiting for this instance where to teams fight hard to get the NBA Trophy the best achivement in sport. Fourteen teams fail to by here onyl the best teams got here for the West Sacramento and for the East Philadelphia. This two teams played only two games during the season and the series are tie. When Sacramento visited Philadelphia they lost 120 to 127 but when Philadelphia visited Sacramento they lost 127 to 121. This series are going to be so close the media best this is going on 6 or 7 games. Sacramento is strong but it was long time ago when they faced Philadelphia. Both teams play similar games with strong players guarding the rim is going to be hard to get the eazy penetration on the paint. Sacramento has an advantage on the Center position since Brad Miller is better than Dalembert. Philadelphia has a better point guard Allen Iverson is not playing the normal level but he is ready to explote. Will the Sacramento keep the advantage over Philadelphia or the team revelation of this season will come strong and take it all."

"Game one happend and the 76ers took the first game of this series but not without efford as the Sacramento Kings gave battle until the end of the game. As soon as the game started the Kings wanted to speed up the game but the 76ers we solid in the first minutes of the 1st quarter. Allen Iverson was able to assist as the took the advantage with some nice plays in the key. As for Sacramento B.Miller was good under the rim as he took the offence of the team and errase the lead of the 76ers. As the quarter was finishing Sacramento could speed the game and unstable a little bit the 76ers. In the second quarter the 76ers started excelent scoring a lot of points but as the game develop and the starting players were sent into the bench Sacramento find the way to tie the game. Mainly because the 76ers started to be more tired from the first quarter. The key players of the game as the first half fiinished were Samuel Dalembert and Brad Miller both players were getting it done. After a quick chat with the coach the 76ers came big in the 3rd quarter making unstable the mind of the Kings by getting 7 fouls by the players. The offence of the 76ers came a lot better and the made some good defence in the key to stop the Kings. The change of point guard for Eddie House was usefull for the 76ers. Also Allen Iverson was able to scored some good points to make the advantage ever better on the Kings part. In the last quarter the 76ers were able to keep the advantage. The add of Eddie House and Allen Iverson playing on the same court wasn´t as productive as the coach thought. But the Kings fail to stay positive in the last part of the game and came with the lost."

-Quotes-

How important was for the team to get this game on the road?
Allen Iverson "Well it means nothing...in 2001 we got the first game but fail to stay for the other four so we are traying to think game by game we don´t need to rush anything. It´s important but he must keep our main objetive that is to get the second that´s when we can think of getting the series."

What´s the first thoughts after the game?
Coach Nadilo "Well they played good right from the start and show to the Kings that they belong to the Finals. We could stablish our game in the court and take advantage of the spaces finding the extra man for the eazy points. I dont think they spect us to play that good on the first game."

Do you feel that putting E.House and A.Iverson on the court was a mistake?
Coach Nadilo "Nooo....the whole season we play with House and Iverson on the court. Tonight they fail to connect as usual but I dont feel that it was a mistake we bacame a little unstable but that´s all."

From the outside it feel that you didn´t find the way to stop Stojakovic. What changes you think this team needs to take that offensive players?
Coach Nadilo "Yes he was shooting the whole game from 3TP and made some points. I told Korver that he must stay with the man at all times. He is a players that will score if you let him the space so yes..I think we need to change something in the defence to take that man."

"Game 2 of the NBA finals were the Sacramento Kings hosted for the 76ers who won the game. But it wasnt so eazy at the begining for the 76ers who had a bad start with poor defence on the paint and getting early faults. Chris Webber had a great game he was able to get those points and put his team on the top. Finishing the 1st half the Kings were in control and made a 10 point lead that would keep it until the last quarter. As far as the 76ers they keep fighting the offence of the kings. Eddie House was helpful leading the team to a close margin and the add of Allen Iverson to the roster was the key point of the game. This two players help Philadelphia to get the game in the last minutes but it wasnt so eazy as the Kings scored to tie the game in the last seconds Samuel dalembert had the change to win the game but he lost it. So the game was sent into over time. Allen Iverson scored fast and put his team up by 4 in overtime but a series of mistakes put the Sacramento very close M.Bibby fail to put the last 3pt play to tie the game. The strange thing in this game was that Philadelphia was up in the scored for only 2 minutes in total. The rest of the time (46 minutes) the Kings were up. Udonis Huslem was the player of the game with 24 points 13 rebounds and .579 from the floor. Allen Iverson had 15 assist tonight. The next game will be play in the Wachovia Center were the 76ers tent to fail. If the 76ers took next game this series will be olmost Over."

Nice to see you back and what a game! Dalembert played surprisingly well, Haslem did a good job as well. Although you still need to look out for Peja and Chris, they´re doing good job. Bring championship back to Philadelphia!

"Back to the Wachovia Center for game 3 of the NBA finals were the Philadelphia 76ers took a 2-0 lead in the first games of this series. Tonight the 76ers got it again and came with a victory at home. A lot of questions were around this team and the staff they played great on the road but when they played at home things tent to get bad. They started playing very lazy defence and that cost them a lot of points Sacramento on the other hand was taking good look on the paint and came with an eazy lead to finished the first quarter. WIth a lucky 3point play at the end of the quarter by G.Robinson the 76ers were trailing by 5 points with a ugly 37% FT they were forced to change their strategy game. In the second quarter the bench of the 76ers gave new energy and got back the game. E.House was able to organized more the offence and the rest of the team played a lot better defence. But Sacramento would take the 12 point lead by the 76ers by playing all around game. They would take the lead with only one quarter to be play. In the last quarter Udonis Huslem would be the player to get the lead as he press the Kings defence by scoring from the inside. Allen Iveson steal and the final dunk of Udonis Huslem put the game out of reach for the Sacramento Kings as they now face a 0-3 deficit with still two games on the road. Can the 76ers repeat the last championship since 83 or they would be the first team to fall with a 3-0 lead? Well will see next game."

-Game 4-

"It was 22 years ago went the 76ers got the Championship now 2005 the 76ers did it again and crash their opponents like that time with a 4-0 record they stand in the top of the NBA. It was all celebration on the Wachovia Center as the 76ers won the last game and finally put a stop to this franchise record of no tittle. Both teams started with some good defence and bad offence in the staring munutes non team scored until M.Bibby scored a open 3pt play to put his team up. The night was going to be long for the 76ers as they wanted to finish the Kings at home. Sacramento would take a 8 point lead in the first quarter but the add of Eddie House gave the team the energy they needed and came close. In the second quarter the bench of the 76ers play great and could stop the Kings as in game 3. In the second half the 76ers suffered an injury Udonis Huslem their strong inside player was foul during a eazy lay.up and since that happened the 76ers started to lose control of the game and let the Sacramento Kings took over the game. The 12 point lead of the 76ers crash down as the Kings close the 3rd quarter with a 4 point lead. The 76ers knew that in order to stop Sacramento they need strong inside defence to stop Chris Webber and a stop on Peja Stojakovic. Hopefuly for them U.Huslem was able to play. As soon as Huslem got the ball he make sure that it was going to be a parade next monday he force the defence of the Kings and scored big to get the game. Andre Iguodala wasnt focus in the first minutes of the game but he was put to the test in the last one. With a tie game and only minutes left on the clock Andre found space to made his move and dunk the ball on the Kings defence. That was all for tonight the 76ers are now NBA champions and for the first time in Iverson´s career he can now lift the NBA trophy. To bad for the Allen fans as he didn´t get the MVP trophy instead Samuel Dalembert was named MVP. Since this next coach he was change the bases of the 76ers be hiring Dikembe Mutombo who was on the team two years ago. Bringing Udonis Huslem a young player that nowbody gave much and trading Eddie House to the rest of the team was all he needed to build this team that´s a great coach."

-Quotes-

Finaly you get a NBA ring how do you feel?
Allen Iverson"..right now I fell great the whole year we worked hard to get into the playoffs we never doubt about our self...we knew that if we get to the Finals we were going to get the whole game. I wanna say thanks to the fans that stuck the whole year... all this years. This is a dream finaly..finaly..."

Finaly you won the NBA tittle but the MVP was for Samuel Dalembert. Do you think you reserv to be the MVP?
"If you asked me last year the same question I would see I was the MVP but now I think Samuel deserves to be the MVP I change I grow up...the team is all of as we made this..If I dont get the MVP trophy...well it will be next year..."

MVP of the Finals. Have you ever dream about this?
Samuel Dalmebert "Noo since I started in this team things were stuck but now all that change we shift 180 degrees with this coach It has been a year to remember..."

Coach your first NBA season and your first NBA ring as a coach. Your first thoughts
"Well I started working with this team as soon as I got hired..the team respond well to my commmand and they get their reward this trophy belongs to them and to the city of Philadelphia...."

There are rummors that you meay left the team next season. Is that true?
"...let me celebrate this moment ...will see ....its going to be a long summer there is a lot of time..."
