The rookies were able to defeat the high-flying sophmores to earn a win aganist them. CP3 carried this rookie team through-out the game earning the MVP award of the game. He was scoring, defending, rebounding, dishing out some crazy assists to his teammates including all the alley-oops to his teammate Marvin Williams who had a double-double 30 pts, and 11 boards. The Sophmores had a couple leaders on their team, but they should be embarrased losing to the rookies. Almost every player on the Soph. team has an FSS ability but they couldnt beat the rookies. I guess we should respect these rookies some more as they beat the Sophs by 9 pts.

WINNER

Dwayne Wade had the fastest time throughout the 1st and 2nd round. Obviously the player with the fastest time will win. And he did it. Right behind him was Tony Parker who could have done much better, it wasnt there for him. Third place got Steve Nash and the fourth place got Chris Paul with a dissapointing performance.

ROSTERS

Houston
Tracy McGrady (Houston Rockets)
Sheryl Swoopes (Houston Comets)
Clyde Drexler (Houston Rockets - retired)

Los Angeles
Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers)
Lisa Leslie (Los Angeles Sparks)
Magic Johnson (Los Angeles Lakers - retired)

Phoenix
Shawn Marion (Phoenix Suns)
Kelly Miller (Phoenix Mercury)
Dan Majerle (Phoenix Suns - retired)

San Antonio
Tony Parker (San Antonio Spurs)
Kendra Wecker (San Antonio Silver Stars)
Steve Kerr (San Antonio Spurs - retired)

WINNERS

SAN ANTONIO

Tony Parker
Kendra Wecker
Steve Kerr

Teams have to make shots from six places on the court, with the final shot being from halfcourt. San Antonio went first. And they were amazing, finishing in just 25.1 seconds. Tony Parker made the half-courter.. Los Angeles up next. Lisa Leslie started badly, missing about five mid-range bank shots before finally making one. Magic johnson wasn't too great. Kobe Bryant did well, and nailed the half court shot. As a team, Los Angeles finished in 43.something seconds... Houston is up now. All three members did OK but not great. McGrady hit the halfcourt shot, using a wild one-handed technique. Houston finished in 47.2 seconds... Phoenix, who win it last year, is up last. Kelly Miller missed a few shots that slowed them down. It took them a long time to hit the halfcourt shot -- WNBA player Miller made it... San Antonio wins it! They shot an amazing 6-of-8. No one else was even close.

Another All-Star Game, another MVP award for Duncan. That's right. Duncan went out there and won the game with his teammates, he wasnt playing selfishly. He was doing all the things he was supposed to out there. He scored, rebounded, assist, blocked a couple of times, he did everything. His teammate and close friend of Duncan, Kevin Garnett scored 30 pts, and grabbed 15 boards. He had a nice game, too. Those two were dominating down low. Shaq and the other big men on the East side couldnt do anything that could stop them. Duncan got the MVP, because of his great playing and the game winning shot in the 2OT with 5.8 sec. left. Duncan told Pop the Western Conference all-star coach that he doesnt want to play a lot of minutes becuase his left foot is bothering him, and thats what Duncan told his teammates. They respected that and told him that they're gonna do the best they can and that Duncan is one of the best players in the NBA and this upcoming game. However, things turned. Duncan wasnt a starter in the game, but scored 12 points in the 1st quarter. His teammates were pushing him to play more and more and more and all of a sudden he had 30 something points at the end of 4th quarter. He was their main man. In the both overtimes, Duncan had 15 pts, he was mostly playing defense and helping his teammates score. Another Spurs' player was in the game, Tony Parker who had a double-double scoring 11 pts, and 10 assists. Spurs will start their second half of the season when they face Allen Iverson and the Sixers. Iverson and Webber coming off the All-Star game pumped up just like Duncan and Parker. We'll have to wait and see what'll happen when these two teams meet for the first time this season.
