Kirk Hinrichs Sore Toe Is On Track To Recover In The Next Couple Of Weeks, Which Has Left Scott Skiles In A Delemma To Play To Point Guard Or Sit Him Out, He Had Little Impact In The Loss Against The Lakers, And Will Have A Tough Time Trying To Stop Tony Parker And The Spurs When They Meet On Friday Night. If Hinrich Was To Sit This Game Out Chris Duhon Would Be The Likely Replacement, Averaging A Little Over 9 Points And 4 Assists A Game.

Tony Kornheiser: Welcome Back To PTI, We Have 5 Good Minutes With Bulls Center Tyson Chandler, Tyson Thanks For Joining Us.

Tyson Chandler: Thanks Guys No Worries.

Michael Wilbon: Tys, First Of All You Gotta Be Loving The Start To This Season 8-2, The Best Start Since Michael Jordan Was A Bull, How Are You Guys Handling Winning Opposed To Losing?

Tyson Chandler: Its Been Crazy Man, Ever Since I've Been A Bull It's Always Ended Up As Us Being Way Below .500 And Having Lottery Picks, So To Have A Start Like This Is A Real Confidence Booster And Hope We Can Continue Our Run.

Tony Kornheiser: Tyson, Many People Have Been Saying That You Need More Height In That Back Court Of Yours, You Have Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Chris Duhon And Jannero Pargo, None Of Them Tipping Past 6'3, How Have You Guys Been Successful With A Back Court With A Lack Of Height?

Tyson Chandler: Coach Skiles Has Emphasised Alot On Pushing The Ball Up The Court Using Our Speed, What We Lack In Height We Can Certainly Make Up For In Speed And Quickness, But You Forget We Have A 6'9 Luol Deng Who Can Slash The Lane Better Than Anyone In The League, So What We Lose With 1 Factor, We Make Up For It In Another Way.

Michael Wilbon: Your Statistcally In The Best Form Of Your Career At The Moment. Averaging Big Double Doubles And I Think You Have Had 3 17 Rebound Performances Already, What Has Helped You Improve?

Tyson Chandler: I'm Getting Older, More Mature. Over The Offseason I Joined Captain Kirk In The Weights Room And Out On The Court Practising To Get Our Chemistry Going, Im Grabbing More Offensive Boards Than Before Because I'm More Comfortable With What Coach Skiles Has Given Us And Im Getting More Active.

Tony Kornheiser: Speaking Of Kirk, He's Under An Injury Cloud At The Moment, Some Say That Was The Cause For Your Loss Against The Lakers, Do You Agree?

Tyson Chandler: No Way. We Lost Because We Didnt Play A Full Team Effort, We Should Have Played Harder Than Normal With Kirks Injury And We Failed To Do That, We Know That And Thats Why We Lost.

Michael Wilbon: Did You Think It Was A Good Move To Get Marvin Williams From Atlanta?

Tyson Chandler: Oh Man, You Never Really Know What's Gonna Happen, He Has Been Great For Us So Far, We Can Expect Much From Him So Far Coz He's Only 19, So He Has Complimented The Team Really Well, He Isnt A Scorer So He Doesnt Hurt Ben, Or Kirk, And He Aint A Rebounder So He Dont Hurt Me Or Luol Ha Ha.

Tony Kornheiser: Tyson Thanks For Spending 5 Good Minutes With Us, And Good Luck For The Rest Of THe Season.

Tyson Chandler: Thanks Guys

Tony Kornheiser: Comming Up After The Break, Are Kobe Bryant And The Lakers Back On Their Way To The Promised Land? And When Will The Nets Be Defeated? That And More Comming Up.

Its Been Rumoured Today That Mike Sweetney Will Be Starting At Power Forward For The Game Against The San Antonio Spurs On Friday Night, It Would Be A Hug Risk To Play The 19 Year Old Against One Of The Great Players In The Game At The Moment. Sweetney Will Bring More Defense On The Inside For The Bulls And Will Be More Of A Brick Wall When Trying To Stop Tim Duncan Getting Into The Paint.

Hey Everybody Welcome To The Pre Game Show

Tomorrow Night Will Be The Second Game Between The World Champion San Antonio Spurs And THe Up And Comming Chicago Bulls. Bulls Leading The Series 1-0.

In Tonights Show We Will Preview Tomorrow Nights Contest, Look At The Line Ups, Player Stats And Look At Tonights Main Match Up.

Both Teams Are Coasting Through The Start Of This Season So Far, But Chicago Hitting A Road Block Against The Lakers Which Snapped Their 6 Game Winning Streak. They Are Facing A Much More Potent Spurs Outfit Then When They Last Played In The United Center 2 Weeks Ago.

Tim Duncan Has Hit His Straps In His Last Game Against The Warriors Scoring 26 Points, Going 11 From 20 From The Floor, Grabbing 16 Rebounds And Blocking 5 Shots, He Also Added 3 Assists. Duncan Again Leading An Elite List For MVP So Early In The Season. Manu Ginobili Will Be Another Threat Scoring 21 Against Golden State.

The Bulls Struggling To Get An Offensive Flow Against The Lakers, But Spirits Have Been Lifted Today With The News That Kirk Hinrichs Sore Toe Has Recovered And Will Be 100% For The Clash.

Well My Fantasy Line Up For Tomorrows Clash Will Be

San Antonio Spurs
Image N. Mohammed [3.1 ORPG]
Image T. Duncan [26.6 PPG, 12.4 RPG]
Image B. Bowen [12.0 PPG]
Image M. Ginobili [17.7 PPG, 5.9 APG]
Image T. Parker [6.4 APG 2.3 SPG]

Chicago Bulls
Image T. Chandler [6 Double Doubles In 10 Games]
Image M. Sweetney [8.3 PPG]
Image L. Deng [11.5 PPG, 8.0 RPG]
Image B. Gordon [6 20 Point Games]
Image K.Hinrich [Recovered From Sore Toe On Thursday]

Well Player Stats Tell The Story And We Have The Top 5 For Both Teams In Point, Rebounds And Assists

Chicago Spurs
1. K. Hinrich 17.9 1. T. Duncan 26.6
2. B. Gordon 17.6 2. M. Ginobili 17.7
3. T. Chandler 15.5 3. T. Parker 13.2
4. L. Deng 11.5 4. B. Bowen 12.0

Chicago Spurs
1. T. Chandler 12.2 1. T. Duncan 12.4
2. L. Deng 8.0 2. N. Mohammed 9.0
3. M. Sweetney 6.5 3. B. Bowen 5.6

2. C. Duhon 3.1 2. M. Ginobili 5.9
3. L. Deng 3.0 3. T. Duncan 3.7
4. B. Gordon 2.9 4. N. Van Exel 2.4
5. M. Williams 2.0 5. B. Udrih 1.5

Tonights Match Up Of The Night Will Be Kirk Hinrich And Tony Parker, The Teams Point Guards. With The News Of Hinrichs Toe Fully Recovered Tony Parker Will Have To Bring Both Sides Of His Game. He Is Going To Have To Stay On His Toes Defensivly With Hinrich Both A Flashy Passer And Explosive Score, And What Makes Hinrich More Dangerous Is He Will Be Avanging Last Games Loss With Nothing More Than A 110% Effort On The Court. Hinrich Will Have To Pull Out His Full Defensive Repetiour Tonight, He Must Pick Up Parker From Half Court Which Discourages Parker From Getting A Clear Vision Of The Court, And Must Force Him To The Sidelines, Parker Does Not Play Well When Pushing Up Against The Out Of Bounds Lines.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- The Coaching Move To Add Michael Sweetney To Be Physical On Tim Duncan Worked To Perfection. Tim Duncan Scored A Season Low 8 Points, Nearly 18 Points Less Than His Season Average. His Last Bucket Came At The Start Of The Last Quarter When He Dropped An 18 Footer Under Tremendous Pressure. Duncan Continued His Good Rebounding Season Pulling Down 15.

Kirk Hinrich Made A Welcome Return Back To Form Scoring A Team High 28 Points, Which Included Four 3 Pointers, Also Added 6 Rebounds, 8 Assists, 3 Steals, A Block And Player Of The Game Honours.

Manu Ginobili Dazzleing The Spurs Crowd Once Again And Ended Up The High Point Man Tonight With 30 Points And Dished Out 7 Assists In A Losing Effort.

Both Teams Benches Played A Big Part In Tonights Game With Four Players From The Bench Reaching Double Figures. The Bulls Bench Outscoring The Spurs Bench 27-26.

Luol Deng Could Be Under Some Scrutany Again With Another Sub Par Scoring Performance. In His Last 3 Games Has Had More Rebound Than Points Which Included His No Field Goal Made Effort Against The Sonics.

This Loss Puts The Spurs At 8-5 Where They Play Another Tough Team In The LA Lakers. The Bulls Cant Let The Win Sink In As They Play The 5-8 Houston Rockets Down The Road In Houston.

Hey Everybody Welcome To The Pre Game Show

Tonights Matchup Is Between The 9-2 Chicago Bulls And The 5-8 Houston Rockets.

In Tonights Show We Will Preview The Nights Contest, Look At The Line Ups, Player Stats And Look At Tonights Main Match Up.

The Chicago Bulls Are On Fire Arnt They? And How About That Performance From Mike Sweetney, Talk About Having Reliable Bench Talent, That Guys Defensive Effort Was Nothing Short Of Excellent, He Took A Guy Who Was Averaging 26 Points A Game And Turned Him Into A 18 Point Turn Around.

Houston Are Limping Along At The Moment, Tracy McGrady Is Playing With A Sore Thumb Which He Sustaind In The Game Against Memphis. The Injury Caused T-Mac To Put Up Only 4 Shots For 8 Points. A Player Chicago Have To Watch Out For Is Derek Anderson, He Shot 6 For 12 From Behind The Arc And Ended Up With 27 Points.

Marvin Williams Has Been Reinstated At Power Forward And Will Go Head To Head With Stromile Swift Who Is Comming Off A Superb Double Double Of 11 Points And 15 Rebounds.

Well My Fantasy Line Up For Tomorrows Clash Will Be

Houston Rockets
Image Y. Ming [25.2 PPG, 2.31 BPG]
Image S. Swift [10.8 PPG, 9.6 RPG]
Image T. McGrady [18.8 PPG, 2.00 SPG]
Image D. Anderson [17.7 PPG]
Image R. Alston [6.2 APG, 2.00 SPG]

Chicago Bulls
Image T. Chandler [15.3 PPG, 11.9 RPG]
Image M. Williams [7.8 PPG]
Image L. Deng [10.7 PPG, 8.1 RPG]
Image B. Gordon [17.6 PPG]
Image K.Hinrich [18.8 PPG, 6.5 APG]

Well Player Stats Tell The Story And We Have The Top 5 For Both Teams In Point, Rebounds And Assists

Chicago
Rockets
1. K. Hinrich 18.8 1. Y. Ming 25.2
2. B. Gordon 17.6 2. T. McGrady 18.8
3. T. Chandler 15.3 3. D. Anderson 17.5
4. L. Deng 10.7 4. R. Alston 13.8
5. T. Thomas 10.7 5. S. Swift 10.8

Chicago Rockets
1. T. Chandler 11.9 1. Y. Ming 9.8
2. L. Deng 8.1 2. S. Swift 9.6
3. M. Sweetney 6.5 3. T. McGrady 7.0
4. M. Williams 5.8 4. D. Anderson 3.8
5. T. Thomas 4.0 5. R. Alston 3.5

Chicago Rockets
1. K. Hinrich 6.5 1. R. Alston 6.2
2. C. Duhon 3.1 2. B. Sura 4.8
3. B. Gordon 3.0 3. T. McGrady 4.5
4. L. Deng 2.9 4. Y. Ming 4.4
5. M. Williams 1.9 5. D. Anderson 3.9

Tonights Match Up Of The Night Is Between The Two Young Centers, Tyson Chandler And Yao Ming. Both Teams Are Going To Rely Heavily On The Output On Both Big Men. The Key For Yao Is To Open Up With A Couple Of Quick Baskets To Get Chandler Out Of His Defensive Groove. And Secondly Use His Height On The Defensive Boards, Tyson Is A Monster On The Offensive End And Thats Where He Get Most Of His Points, Yao Must Use All Of His 7'5 To Out Rebound Chandler.

Chandler On The Other Hand Must Bring His In Your Face Game To Yao, Smash On Him A Couple Time So He Starts Second Guessing Whether To Go Up For The Block Or Not Play Any D, Once You Have Yao Out Of His Comfort Zone He Will Be Easy To Exploit And May Have To Use Double Teams, Thats Where Tys Uses His Passing Game To Kick It Out To Hinrich, Gordon Or Duhon Who Are Waiting In The Wings For A Catch And Shoot, Luol Deng For A Hard Drive Or Marvin Williams For An Easy Lay Up.

Well Thats The Preveiw Show For You, Hope To See You Tomorrow Night When These Two Teams Square Off.

Thu Nov 03, 2005 1:50 am
