Thanks, yeah the Kings are kinda stacked in the game...as usual...

Devin112 wrote:Man I love your presentation, I just finished my first recap and it looks like crap compared to yours.

I'll put some more effort in it for the next game.

Man, Deron wasted no time handing out the whupass! Good game and tight recap.

Lol thanks, yeah you have to put a lot more effort in your recaps, then it'll be as good as mine :P

Its_asdf wrote:Lmao, 133 points. You completely rocked 'em man, good job.

Yeah, i didn't know the Jazz could score soo much.

[C]#4 wrote:Wow..133 pts..i never new that the Jazz could score that much wow. Good win and this is without AK47 (Y)

Me neither lol, yeah one more game to go and AK47 is back :D

Da BaLLa wrote:Beautiful win. (Y) Giricek surprised me in this game. Good job.

Thanks, yeah Giricek was penetrating well with his first step and he found a way to lay it in through the Grizzlies' Defence.

Kemp40 wrote:Good to see you won that game despite all these injuries. Too bad, Giricek will be out for 9 weeks. Why do you called Bosstertag instead of Ostertag?

Yeah now i got 5 injuries. I call him Bosstertag because he IS da Boss... plus it sounds better.

Mark #6 wrote:[b]Man youve got some pace on this dynasty, already well into the season. LOL Kirilenko is not only a denfisve dynamo but also and Offensive one, must be a sho in for MVP

Is it a good thing to have some pace? Yeah Kirilenko was awesome early in the season, luckily he comes back in 1 more game (that's gonna be simmed, so then i can play as AK47 quicker, woo)

Wow yeah, I completely 'forgot about Dre'. You should be able to make some noise in the playoffs when your keys guys are healthy.

Thanks Clitzie, yeah i hope all the guys are healthy... 5 injuries now

I had to include Bogut in the recap..

Devin112 wrote:Everything looks perfect Jugs, the score is realisitc enough for me. you don't think so?

The recap isn't quite the same without AK dunking on people or swatting the crap outta them.

That score was realistic enough but some of the others weren't that bad... lol yeah AK47 will be back soon :D :D

Okay well i might sim the next game tonight, and i'll also give you a Scouting Report too..

Simulation Result

Utah Jazz vs. Seattle Supersonics

The Utah Jazz had to travel to Seattle with a 9 man line-up to play against the Seattle Supersonics. The Jazz came out firing in the 1st quarter, outscoring the Supersonics 33-16 but in the 2nd quarter, the Supersonics came back to within 5 points at the half time break. The 3rd quarter once again belonged to the Sonics as they took a 1 point lead into the last quarter. The Jazz had no hope of coming back as Rashard Lewis was on fire all night and the Sonics ended up with the win with a score of 90 to 80. Player of the game was Rashard Lewis with 43 points and 8 rebounds. The best player for the Jazz was Mehmet Okur with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Boxscores

Robert Skrnjug was disappointed with the loss but the team lacked depth. He announced that fan favourite Andrei "AK47" Kirilenko was returning from injury on Friday against the Golden State Warriors at home. He also said that CJ Miles has recovered 100% from his minor injury.

Nestor Porter Scouting Report

Nestor Porter had just returned from Japan where he went to scout Asia's top prospect Christopher Nakamura and this is what he found out:

Christopher Nakamura is good at passing, has great defensive awareness and toughness but has weak shot blocking abilities and hasn't got much strength.

I also got Nestor Porter to scout our next opponent, the Golden State Warriors.

He provided a lot of vital information about Baron Davis and I'm sure Jerry Sloan will have an answer for him.

I hope you like, Jugs.

Wow, that 'Scout Next Opponent' is a great new feature!
The sim loss sucks, but at least it wasn't your fault.

Fri Sep 30, 2005 3:59 am

Great recaps man (Y) And yes, that Scout option is really really good.

With Ostertag playing so well lately, I think you should start him at C and move Okur to PF until AK return. Lewis killed you but I hope you can defeat Davis and the Warriors next.

Utah seeks revenge as the Warriors come visit Salt Lake City
Image

The Golden State Warriors travel to Salt Lake City to verse the Utah Jazz. The Jazz lost against the Warriors last time they met so the Jazz will hopefully use their homecourt to advantage.

Starting Line-Ups

Image

Key Match-Up

CJ Miles vs. Jason Richardson.

Which one of these highflyers will fly the highest tonight?

1st Quarter

Both teams started off the game quite evenly but the Jazz had more motivation and they took a small lead. But some mistakes on the offensive end gave the Warriors some easy fast break points and the Jazz lost their lead. The Warriors managed to keep their lead as the Jazz began to use the Warriors' foul troubles to their advantage. The game became very tight as both teams went on a dunkfest which the fans enjoyed and Michael Dunleavy Jr. scored a buzzer beating lay-up to give the Warriors a 1 point advantage at the break.

2nd Quarter

The Jazz began to play sloppy defence and not smart offence as the Warriors began to break away. A timeout was called for the Jazz then the Jazz came back on and made a run. The Warriors still held onto their lead as this frustrated the Jazz. The Jazz kept attacking at the Warriors lead but they didn't take advantage of their chances as the Warriors still kept their lead. Then Andrei Kirilenko scored a tip-in from his own miss to give the Jazz a tiny lead. After the tip-in, AK47 went on a dunk frenzy but that was cut short by a Michael Dunleavy 3 pointer. Another Michael Dunleavy 3 pointer to beat the buzzer cut the Jazz lead to 1 point to end the half.

Key Players at the Half

Derek Fisher and Mehmet Okur

3rd Quarter

A third Warriors three pointer gave the Warriors back their lead. Some more sloppy defence and offence gave the Warriors a 7 point lead as the Jazz called a timeout. The Jazz began to comeback but Mickael Pietrus singlehandedly took over the game for the Warriors. The Warriors shot out to a double digit lead as Jerry Sloan called another timeout. The Jazz played absolutely CRAP in this quarter as the Warriors ended the quarter ahead 107-92.

4th Quarter

The Warriors kept their groove on as the Jazz got completely frustrated and it was over. The lead did get to 30 but the Jazz somehow cut it down a little as the Warriors finished the game, winning 138 to 113.

Player of the Game

Baron Davis
He was the turning point in the 3rd quarter for the Warriors.

Robert Skrnjug was very disappointed with the loss and he blames it on the lack of depth. Robert Skrnjug was once again happy with Andrei Kirilenko's performance and Mehmet Okur's first half with his 8 rebounds.

shit, L. Harrington is your starting PG  this is the Nuggets of a couple of years ago all over again

get healthy

Wed Oct 05, 2005 12:33 am

hang in there man, you'll school them again soon! (Y)

Finally, it looks like I'm going to play the season opener later tonight or maybe tomorrow. I hope Haba's roster is bug free this time, cross my fingers.

Wed Oct 05, 2005 5:29 am

I have an updated roster file thingy.. it's updated as of 3/10.. even with the Knicks Bulls trade.. i'll have to put in the Rockets/Raptors trade in as well.. then it's quite up to date...

Yeah, X, injuries are killin me and thanks Kobe101 for stopping by.. good luck in your clippers dynasty, make Kaman a star

Wed Oct 05, 2005 6:24 am

C.J. Miles is playing pretty well in the starting lineup, I hope he replaces Giricek. I also never knew C.J. Miles was a very good dunker. I thought he was more of a shooter than a leaper......

Wed Oct 05, 2005 6:26 am

Yeah me too, his dunking rating is 34 or something similar... and i've seen him shoot the ball well (in the game) so yeah.... he just dunks it :? and shoots well too :?

Wed Oct 05, 2005 8:09 am

great job with the jazz man, ak47 is a frickin beast i tell you
you've been abusing with him and so have I so far XD
haha

I also found Harpring to be good at shooting, though girick didnt do too much for me.

Wed Oct 05, 2005 8:33 am

Ouch tough loss... yeah AK47 is great for you... good luck next game man.

Wed Oct 05, 2005 1:41 pm

The Warriors spoiled AK return! So far, Okur, AK and Miles are all playing well. Those Miles dunks are sick. Hope you can bounce back from here.

Thu Oct 06, 2005 2:58 am

Looks like they need a new staff due to booz, giri, brown and deron on the IR.

The Pacers travel to Salt Lake City to play against the Jazz

Image

The Jazz host the Indiana Pacers for the Jazz' last game of the month. Andrei Kirilenko has fully recovered from his minor injury and should be fully effective in this game, even though he did score 40 points but he wasn't effective on defence.

Starting Line-Ups

Image

Key Match-Up

Ron Artest vs. Andrei Kirilenko

Who will be defending who tonight?

1st Quarter

The Jazz started the game by making an 8-0 run as the home crowd was going crazy. The Jazz' only trouble was Okur was in foul trouble as the Jazz went out to a 16-3 lead. The Pacers then came back to reduce the deficit to 7 points but the Jazz were still holding strong. The Pacers made a comeback to 3 points but the Jazz scored 6 in a row to end the quarter ahead 30-21.

2nd Quarter

The Jazz continued their run as they started the quarter with a 9-3 run. The Jazz continued their dominance as Andrei Kirilenko was unstoppable again and the Jazz were playing exceptional defence. The Jazz finished the quarter ahead 55-41 as Andrei Kirilenko was a star, getting at least 1 in each stat category (the positive/main ones)

Key Players at the Half

Stephen Jackson and Andrei Kirilenko

3rd Quarter

The Jazz continued their dominance in the 3rd quarter but both teams began to miss a lot of shots. The Pacers then went on a mini run, to cut the deficit to 12 points so the Jazz called a timeout to bring back in AK47 but the Jazz still made mistakes on offence. The Jazz struggled to keep their lead but they did as the quarter ended with the Jazz leading 79-72.

4th Quarter

The Pacers started the quarter by cutting the Jazz lead down to 4 points but the Jazz played some smart defence and put it back past 6 points. A Jamaal Tinsley 3 pointer cut the lead to 3 points but the Jazz put it back out as Matt Harpring got fouled out. The Jazz were running fastbreaks and stuff then AK47 jarred his back! He was out of the game then Mehmet Okur got fouled out. Ron Artest alley-ooped it to Jermaine O'Neal and that cut the deficit to a single point. The CJ Miles fouled out to make Ron Artest earn the lead from the charity stripe. He of course sunk both free throws and there went the Jazz lead. With 1:54 left on the clock, the Pacers held a 1 point lead so Jerry Sloan called a timeout. Ron Mercer went up for the lay-up and got fouled and scored both free throws to give back the lead to the Jazz. On the next play, Jamal Tinsley got around his defender but a charge was called as he knocked over Kris Humphries. Milt Palacio called for a pick and roll and he went around the pick and layed it in to give the Jazz a 3 point lead with 1:15 to go so the Pacers called a time out. Stephen Jackson scored the lay-up for the Pacers then Lorinza Harrington got bumped and missed his lay-up and it was Pacers' possession with 57.2 seconds to go. Jamal Tinsley scored the lay-up and the Jazz called the timeout. Lorinza Harrington went up for the lay-up but got rejected and the ball went out of bounds. They inbounded the ball and they eventually gave it to Ron Mercer and Greg Ostertag set the screen and Ron Mercer went around it and scored the lay-up with 34.3 seconds to go. Jermaine O'Neal had the ball and he nearly got it stolen but he scored the lay-up. Lorinza Harrington went up for another lay-up but got rejected by O'Neal. Ron Mercer went up for the lay-up and missed the adjusted shot and that was it for the Jazz as the Pacers won 100-99.

Player of the Game

Andrei Kirilenko
He had an excellent game until he got injured and the Jazz lost, what a shame.

Robert Skrnjug was absoultely angry about the loss, the Umpires weren't calling the right calls but tough fucking luck he said. He also told us that Andrei Kirilenko will have a minor nose injury for a while.

Okay, well that's the end of the month, I will be posting a monthly recap (by John Stockton) and also the first power rankings of the year and some training time, Jugs.

LMAO! I can imagine how you were sitting in front of your PC then... I always get angry while playing NBA Live, my right analog stick of my PS2 controller even broke off because of that.

Anyway I think you should trade AK when he's healthy again (can't trade injured players, right?) because he's likely to get injured again and again. He's a 89 so you can get some good players for him.

Yeah i get really really ANGRY when i play live, my mother tries to calm me down by taking away my game but i tell her not to take it away and i calm down but i still yell :? I broke the Superstar trigger

Hm, that's a nice proposal... I'm not sure if i want to trade him away at the moment... I might keep him till the trade deadline to make it a bit real... but he's close to being League's top MVP candidate (i haven't checked it)... you'll see the candidates in the monthly recap

Fri Oct 07, 2005 6:53 pm

Too bad, another loss, it was a close one though, one point difference. Well, injuries are definitely killing the Jazz right now. Better luck next time.

Yeah, that's a good idea... unless you want to win NOW.
But it could make a big difference whether you trade him now or only at the trade deadline, not only could it make a difference like a #3 or #7 spot, but (more appropriate in the Jazz' situation) make or miss the playoffs. To me it seems like he'll get injured a couple more times this season.
Don't want to push you into anything but I'd definately look into that. Try trading for Shawn Marion or maybe even AK+someone for Dirk+scrub. :o :D :?

ps. sorry for the long post, I'm at school. :(

Damn man. AK47 has been doin' crazy good despite that loss. So is Rookie CJ Miles, a good canidate for ROY. I like how your holding up though without Boozer, Brown, Giricek and Williams. Good Luck next game man.
