When the Nuggets entered the Arena you could tell they were hungry for a win. They were 3-5 and Miller was complaining because he knew his team is better than that. The Nuggets brought a really good game. Yao and Swift were once again rebounding for the Rockets combining for 14 at the end of the half. The start of the 4th quarter the Rockets were loosing by 4. They were feeding Yao and he was connecting everytime. With 10 seconds left in the game, the score was 97-97 tied up. The ball went to McGrady holding for the last shot. He pump faked, and Melo didn't bight. So McGrady passes to Anderson back to McGrady, McGrady pops up for a 3.....he misses and the buzzer sounds. So OT started. The Rockets won the tip. The Nuggets started a 6-0 run. But Anderson got them back in it with 2 thress. With 1:00 minute left. The score was 106-104 Nuggets. The Nuggets called a timeout. Melo throws it in, but Simmons comes out of no were and sees Swift running with him, he dishes Swift pulls up from 8 and misses it and Simmons gets the bored and hits the layup! 106-106 with 51 seconds left. Miller brings it up dishes to Lenard and he blows a wide open 3, Simmons brings it down. Passes it to ANderson, he brings it up slow. Anderson trys to feed Stro down low, but nothing happening. He passes to McGrady...but Miller intercepts it and brings it down for an easy 2. With 28 seconds the score 108-106 Nuggets. Coach Van Gundy calls a timeout. The inbound pass goes to McGrady. McGrady pumpfakes a 3 and Lenard goes for it, McGrady goes in about 5 feet and drills the wide open 2. With 20 seconds left Melo goes for the layup but Stromile stuffs him. Coach Van Gundy calls a timeout. The inbound goes to TMac. With 9 seconds left, McGrady calls for an isolation. Hes trying to fake Lenard out, but he pumpfkaes then crossesover with 3 seconds and Lenard still on him, McGrady pulls up.....1....buzzer sounds......the shot.....goes in!! Nothing but net. The Officials review it and......ITS GOOD. The Rockets win in OT thanks to McGradys GW shot! One of the real surprises was Simmons, 15 points, and 14 rebounds.
