Cleveland Cavaliers Association: Life after "The King"

So hi , it's me again. I am starting a new association with the Cleveland Cavaliers and I'm not promising anything. This will probably be left in about 2 weeks time, but lets hope not. As some of you know, I am suffering from what is it you call it, Therrthristis? Basically, i am too lazy to continue associations. Maybe it's because I have a real life, maybe it's because I'm lazy, or maybe it's just because i suck at this, yep I know. So I've decided to go with the Cavs because there is a good story to write abotu them. I ain't no Lebron hater, just to make sure nobody takes me wrong, he is one of the most talented players I've seen in my life. Calm down I'm only 17, I'm not saying hes like in the rang of MJ. Hell no until he earns a ring, he is Queen James. So obviously the Cavs suck, I'll probably make them suck even more due to my brilliant knowledge of playing NBA 2k11, but at least I'll have fun!

Game: NBA 2K11
System: PC
Team: Cleveland Cavaliers
Season Length: 82 games
Play D-League Games: Off
Injuries: On
Team Chemistry: On
Player Roles: On
CPU Trades: Off
Quarter Length/Sim Quarter Length: 11/12
Difficulty: Hall of Fame (expect the CPU to kick the shit out of me)
Sliders: Sim, with added adjustments
2011 Draft: Real live Draftees + Harrison Barnes and Perry Jones.

-First season will be simulated !!

I have a bad case of the Therrthristis aswell. Good luck man, if your doing sim sliders, you don't have to bump the difficulty to hall of fame.

Season Standings
Couple of surprises this season. The Knick had a great year, which you will see later in the Play-offs. Cleveland had a horrible year. I did not make any trades, but they lost game after game after game. Only 3 road wins this year for them.

Individual awards

Image
MVP – Lebron James
29.2 ppg , 9.1 rpg , 4.1 apg, 2.6 stl, 1.4 bpg, %479 fg, % 346 2pt, %790 ft
An absolutely fantastic year by Lebron. He led the Heat to the best overall record in the league, finished at the top 5 in scoring and stealing, and was more than stellar in the other departments. Another brilliant defensive season by him. This award is truly well deserved.

Image
ROY – Blake Griffin
22.7 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 2.8 ast, 1.1 stl, 0.6 bpg, %492 fg
Blake's rookie campaign was one of the best we've seen in recent history. From the moment he stepped on the court and played his first game, it was obvious Blake is the next big thing. He can score, he can rebound, and he is a good passer for a big man. Griffin could only use improvement in the defensive area.

Image
6th man – Daniel Gibson
14.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.0 spg, %379 2pt
I am extremely proud that one of my players was awarded at the end of the season. Honestly I wasn't paying too much attention to the Cavs whilst simulating, and the hell I have the 6th man of the year in Bobbie.
Image
DPOY – Dwight Howard
25.6 ppg, 14.0 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.8 spg, 2.3 bpg
Stats say enough. It's a real shame that the Magic couldn't get a few more wins, then he would surely be in serious MVP chatter.
MIP – Sasha Vujacic
12.5 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.5 spg
The move to New Jersey has offered Sasha a starting spot in the line-up. He used it well.
COTY – Eric Spoelstra (63-19)

Two great players and one great coach retire
as the NBA looses some great talent.

Image

Shaquille O'Neal, one of the games most dominating players to ever played the game, decided to call it quits. "I am getting too old for this man, I have a family and they are the most important thing for me now. I had a lot of joy playing basketball during the course of my career, but enough is enough." Shaq was very emotional during his speech. Shaq, The Diesel, The big Shaqtus, and the one and only Superman, will be missed in the NBA. There will never be a palyer quite dominant like him again. ESPN , TNT, I hope some of you give him a job !

Shaq is a sure 1st ballot Hall of famer, one of the greatest players to ever play the game, especially on the offensive end. "I would like a job next to Kenny and Ernie on TNT." Well Shaq, we all hope you get the spot.

Image

One of the greatest shooters to ever grace the NBA courts, Ray Allen, has decided to end his career. It was a schocking decision, which he had to make during serious familly issues. "I thank all my coaches, teammates, fans and all the people that had something to do during this incredible trip. I hope to be remembered not only as a shooter, but as a fighter, and a champion." Ray Allen won one championship in his NBA career. "I have private familly issues that I wish not to discuss with you guys, but trust me I will stay in basketball, this isn't my end.

-Other notable players to retire are Derek Fisher and deffensive specialsit Theo Ratliff.

Image

A great coach ends his career. We wish all the best in life for Rick Adelman.
