A New Team In the NBA This Season
With only about two weeks until the regular season begins, a man by the name of Zee Otoo has submitted everything necessary in order to start a new NBA team (North Carolina Domination) through an expansion draft that will take place a few days before the beginning of the season. All 30 of the current teams will be able to protect up to 8 players on their rosters. After this, the Domination will be allowed to select fifteen unprotected players on different teams with a normal salary cap in mind. The Domination will be allowed to sign free agents before the expansion draft, but will not be allowed to trade until after the draft.

NBA Changes Its Calendar to a 30-game season
As a result of budget cuts, the NBA has revised its calendar so that each team only plays each other once. The playoffs will also be shortened to 5-7-7-7. This has been met by criticism from several NBA players and coaches from many different teams. This, however, gives teams more time to relax between games. Phoenix's Hedo Turkoglu said in an interview, "I like this, because I get time to chill and party." He has been fined $25,000 for "conduct detrimental to the NBA" for this statement.

Thanks , but the games won't really start for a few weeks, due to the fact I'm still in the playoffs in my other franchise(s). I'll finish that, do the offseason, show a couple games and then start on this.

I'm still using Live 2003, although I'm thinking maybe I'll get a newer game, or I'll wait til next year to see if EA comes out with Elite/Live 2012. If I get a new game, I'll likely continue this. If I get a game, however, it is likely to be Live 08.

DOMINATION SIGN ARGENTINIAN FORWARD WALTER HERRMANN AS ITS FIRST EVER PLAYER

Walter Herrmann, a 31-year-old forward from Argentina, became the first player ever to sign with the new NBA franchise, the North Carolina Domination, after leaving Saski Baskonia for the NBA. After meeting with the Charlotte Bobcats and the Detroit Pistons, the only NBA teams he had ever played for, he met with the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat, and the North Carolina Domination. He said, "To me, being a leader is important and I will do my best to lead this franchise to victory. The way the NBA is right now, we may get some nice players from this expansion draft. I have hopes for this team and I plan to stay here for now."

Herrmann has shown some flashes of brilliance in his first three-year NBA stint, including an ingenious inbound play against Boston's Kendrick Perkins. Herrmann is a tremendous outside shooter for a guy who is 6'9. In his rookie season with the Bobcats, Herrmann made the NBA All-Rookie Second Team along with his teammate, the great Adam Morrison. He averaged 46.1% from outside in 48 games.

He's made bigger splashes in Argentina and Europe. In Argentina, he was a two-time Slam Dunk Contest winner (1999-2000), and the Argentinian League's MVP and Finals MVP. In Europe, he put on serious displays of skill as well While those days (2003) seem to be behind, nobody can ignore his All-Star Game MVP award, his Spanish League MVP Award, and his Spanish League Slam Dunk Contest Championship there. He will be counted on to return to that form, even though he is 31 years old.

OTHER PLAYERS NEXT TO SIGN?
Maybe Allen Iverson is what this team needs. Maybe he's not. The only thing anybody needs to know is that the offer is on the table: the Domination are offering him a contract. Will he take it? Iverson's future isn't the only one the Domination are trying to create. North Carolina native Rashad McCants is also looking into this new franchise, although he said he wouldn't sign with the team until after he saw the roster and thought about it for awhile. The other player is D-League high-flier James White. Who will sign? Who won't?

In his rookie season with the Bobcats, Herrmann made the NBA All-Rookie Second Team along with his teammate, the player with the greatest, most epic mustache of all time, Adam Morrison.

ALL 30 TEAMS HAVE CHOSEN THEIR 8 PROTECTED PLAYERS
Now that all thirty teams have selected their eight players to protect from the North Carolina Domination Expansion Draft, Domination GM Zee Otoo has until Friday to select his fifteen players. There has been some speculation as to who the first pick will be, none of which were backed up with evidence. However, Dallas guard DeShawn Stevenson and Phoenix forward Jared Dudley always seem to come up, along with Boston's big man Glen Davis and Washington's forward Al Thornton. Otoo has not expressed any ideas to the public.

CONTEST #1
Who will be the Domination's first overall pick? Keep in mind, the four mentioned above don't mean anything - they are just some of the most highly rated guys on the unprotected list. I already know who I'm picking first so start guessing!

Either Eddy Curry or Kwame Brown... jk. I think it'll be DeJuan Blair.
