Entry #1: October 2007
The first win of the season came this month, we only had one game but god it was a good one. I told the boys to leave it on the floor and they did.. I mean, 127 to 82? Amazing. All three of my stars performed, each scored above 20, I mean if this season is going to rest of anyones shoulders it's these 3 all-stars. Yeah I said it, Richard might be an all-star this year, he has the potential he truly does.
Sean had a great NBA debut, amazing to say the least. 6 Rebounds, 7 Assists, 4 Steals, 2 Blocks and 9 Points. Those numbers tell you that he is not just doing one thing, he's doing everything a coach could ever ask for. Let's hope he keeps it up.
I've been consulting the head office about a trade for someone big up front, Jamaal and Sean do a good job but I think we can do better than Jamaal and I mean, Sean is great and all but he's young, he's a rookie, we don't want to push him into the limelight fast, we want him to mature slowly. The office has been telling me they've been pushing offers for people like Emeka Okafor, Dwight Howard, Kenyon Martin, Pau Gasol, Ben Wallace and Shawn Marion to name a few. We have a fair few trade chips as well, especially our own personal block-machine they call Sean Williams.
Until next time.

This is fantastic news! I just got word from the head office that we have managed to secure ourselves.. Rasheed Wallace.
Management told me that they traded off Jamaal Magloire, Jason Collins and Bernard Robinson to Detroit for Rasheed Wallace and Will Blalock! Rasheed supposedly was having problems with the Pistons and with Flip Saunders. Flip supposedly got into a slight argument with Rasheed and after that, they put him on the trading block. This is great, we can play Rasheed at center, keep Williams at forward.. I think our big 3 just became a Fantastic Four.. this is great. I don't think I've ever coached such a talented core of players at the starting five.
Until next time.

Could this season possibly get any better? I mean, this is such an amazing feat that we have accomplished. 14 and 2.. that's phenomenal. So far, we haven't lost to a team from the Atlantic, or a team from the East as a matter a fact. We've played well and I have to say a lot of the credit has to go to Rasheed who has been carrying the team at center. He's averaged 19.6 points to go with 8.8 rebounds. Good first month for 'Sheed.
Sean Williams stepped out of his shell and dropped some good numbers this month considering he is the fifth option on offense, 7.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists 1.5 steals and 1.75 blocks. A great showing by the boy. Jason Kidd and Vince Carter are doing exactly what I told them to do and carrying this team on offense. 22.6 and 21.9 PPG respectively. Not to mention both are averaging about 2 steals a game and Kidd is averaging just under 10 assists a game.
Ah, the Miami Heat. Where to begin, Wade was locking down Vince on defense, dropping 34 on us and keeping Vince at 13, and Shaq was demolishing Rasheed that game, Rasheed actually ended up with 5 rebounds compared to Shaq's 18. Shaq was pulling everything away from Sheed, both on offense and on defense. We struggled against Los Angeles. After being up by 10 in the fourth Kobe began his usual demolition work, scoring 23 in the fourth quarter to defeat us by 4.
Further more, we've just acquired two new faces to add to the soon to be dynasty of the New Jersey Nets. Mickael Pietrus was signed to a one year, Mid-Level Exception deal and small forward Trevor Ariza was acquired from the Magic in a deal which sent Ariza to the Nets in return for Antoine Wright and Injury-Reserve center Mile Ilic.
Until next time.

I could look at all of them cause' they can actually comply with what I have left in non-big 4 salary cap players. So please, help me by choosing which one you think is better

This list has three centers and a SF.
PFs: Amare Stoudamire, Josh Smith, Lamar Odom
Martti., you are also right. Sheed is a good PF. You could try bringing in Dwight.

Entry #4: Mid-December 2007
This season is not only off to a great start, but management has been pulling strings left, right and definately "Center". Today I'm proud to announce the newest addition to the Nets roster, the 1st pick in the 2004 NBA draft, our new starting center, Dwight Howard.
Dwight was acquired for our up and coming Power Forward Sean Williams along with Bostjan Nachbar and Josh Boone.
Until next time.

December 15, 2007 - Today the new powerhouse New Jersey Nets have added yet another player to their core of talent. Dwight Howard was acquired by the New Jersey Nets in return for rookie sensation, Sean Williams, back-up small forward, Bostjan Nachbar and 2007 Draftee, Josh Boone. Many believe the lop-sided trade has not only lost the Magic one of the best players to ever grace their team but also destroyed the chemistry of the Magic squad. The New Jersey Nets on the other hand have been ecstatic with the acquisition of Howard.
"Dwight Howard. Nuff' Said" says current Center, Rasheed Wallace whom is expected to be shifted to his natural position of Power Forward in order to accommodate for their new acquisition. "This boy is going to be a monster in a few years, he's a monster right now.. but in a few years he'll be in a category of his own" said Jason Kidd. "Dwight Howard? He can flat out play" said Vince Carter whom was seen in a dunk-off with the new Nets center at training.
We here at REALGM.com have the first picture of Dwight Howard in a New Jersey Nets uniform, donning his trademark #12.

What a lovely season this has been so far. Currently we are at the top of the East, a few games in front of LeBron James' Cavaliers whom have been giving us trouble all season. The #1 Team in the West and the NBA is the Dallas Mavericks at 26-6.. we are going to beat them, we will, I guarantee it.
There was a tough break for us during that 3 game losing streak this season, Jason Kidd and Vince Carter we're both out injured and thus we had Marcus Williams and Mickael Pietrus starting for that stretch. Dwight Howard has certainly become a great pickup for us, leading the team in rebounds, steals and blocked shots, not to mention being in the top 5 in the league for rebounds, he's going to be something special.
Jason Kidd's been putting up some great numbers, but to be honest the real highlight of this month has been Rasheed Wallace. He's second in the team in points, rebounds, blocks. He's a great overall player, and he's really toned down those anger issues. Ariza has been performing well off the bench, averaging just under 2 steals a game, that's great news. I can see him breaking in to the starting line up in the future.
The best game in my opinion has to be the game against Golden State, in New Jersey where Vince Carter with time running out hit a mid-range jumper to win the game, the crowd went off and to be honest, I jumped out of my seat as well.
Until next time.
