I'm gonna play whole 82 games in-game and I won't change my roster until off-season.

Lakers beat Rockets 103-92 in Season Opener

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- There was no championship hangover for these Lakers. Kobe Bryant missed a triple double with 35 points, 10 assist and 9 rebounds and Pau Gasol added 23 points and 7 rebounds as the reigning NBA champions opened defense of their title Thursday night with a 103-92 victory over the new look Houston Rockets.
Yao Ming who came back with the Rockets played last night after having a season ending surgery with a broken foot last season. The Lakers began the evening with a ceremony unveiling the franchise's 16th gold-and-purple championship banner, earned four months ago after defeating Boston in game 7 of 2010 NBA finals. Commissioner David Stern handed out diamond-encrusted rings to almost everyone from last season's team. The last time the Lakers opened a title defense was last October 27, 2009 when they host their Staples Center co-tenants Los Angeles Clippers with a 99-92 win.
Bryant was 15 of 24 from the field but he committed 4 of 15 Lakers turnovers, while Gasol was 11 of 19 from the field and had 7 rebounds.
Barnes scored 6 points and had 3 assist while Steve Blake contributed 5 rebounds and 3 steals in their debut game as a Laker. Andrew Bynum sat out early with two quick fouls called on him on the first quarter and was replaced by Lamar Odom who had 14 points off the bench.
Yao Ming played 32 minutes and scored 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for the Rockets. Guards Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin combined for 55 points but not enough for the defending champs. Newly acquired guard Courtney Lee added 5 points off the bench.
Houston is up 51-46 at halftime with Brooks hitting a 3 pointer with 1.5 seconds left. Brooks leads all scorers with 19 points at the end of the first half.
Both teams went scoreless in the 4th with 2:07 minutes remaining with Lakers up 92-88. Then Aaron Brooks hits a driving a layup off a steal to make it 92-90. Phil Jackson calls a timeout. It was then Kobe Bryant's show who manage to score eight straight points with Rockets missing 4 consecutive shots to makt it 100-90 with 45 seconds remaining in the game. Then Kevin Martin hits a shot off an assist from Brooks to make 100-92 with 22 seconds left. Bryant nailed a buzzer beating three at the end and made 18 points in the 4th.
Game Notes:
Yao Ming's first game since being injured.
Lakers shot 59% on the field.
Bryant missed a near triple double (35 PTS 9 RBS 10 AST).

Lakers fell short against the Suns

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Steve Nash scores a game-high 40 points to lead the Phoenix Suns past the Los Angeles Lakers 100-92 in a rematch of last season's Western Conference Finals. Steve Nash had a brilliant game, scoring 40 points on 18 out of 32 shooting and dishes out 8 assists. Nash was able to score at ease no matter who the Lakers used as a defender. Nash already got 20 points in 9/15 shooting after the first half to lead all scorers. The reason why Lakers trailed by 12 at the half and shooting just 33% on the field for the first two quarters. Richardson, normally a quality defensive player able to frustrate even the best scorers, looked out of his league against Bryant. Robin Lopez proved to be too much inside as well, doing whatever he wished against the likes of Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol; He finished with 2 points and grabbed 14 boards. Newly acquired forwards Hedo Turkoglu and Josh Childress added 10 points apiece as well.
The Lakers starters performed well, but not well enough. Greater performances will be required if the Lakers would minimize their turnovers as they committed 15 turnovers (same numbers with their season opener against the Rockets). Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 31 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dishes out 5 assists. Pau Gasol, who up to this point has been a very efficient scorer, finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists along with 3 steals and 3 blocks. Ron Artest (5 points on 2/12 shooting) will need to be more aggressive, as the Suns do not have a guard capable of stopping him from getting to the basket.
Lamar Odom was incredibly effective off of the bench, coming in to score 10 points and grab 2 rebounds in 10 minutes. Odom was able to score whenever he wished, usually with the Suns’ players standing around watching him. While the Suns did have a decent inside game scoring wise (with Turkoglu's 7 rebounds and also newly acquired forward Hakim Warrick chipping in 6 points and 8 rebounds). Goran Dragic dishes out 3 assist and Channing Frye gave the Suns with 2 blocks and 5 boards. Dragic and Frye are both capable of scoring in bursts, and their offense is greatly needed if the starters cannot contribute more. The Suns holds on the lead and were never trailed. The lead grew until 18 but the Lakers even make it closer by 6 but too much turnovers killed them and fell short with Nash and Richardson's unstoppable shots.
Game Notes:
Lakers committed 15 turnovers for two consecutive games.
Bryant's second consecutive 30+ points of the season.
Suns' reserves key in win.
