2006/07 Season Opener

Image vs. Image

 After a poor 2005/06 NBA Season with the record of 33-49, the Toronto Raptors will look to make an impact in the NBA this upcoming season. Chris Bosh, one of the Rising Stars in the NBA will have to carry this young un-experienced team. The Raptors might make their first NBA Playoffs this off-season with Chris Bosh as the team leader. The opening night for the Raptors is tomorrow night as they face VC and the Nets. Raptors will look to get off to a good season with a victory but they will have to get past the Big Three of the Nets (Kidd, Carter, Jefferson). Stay tuned for more information on the game!

Good luck. You should go get a better SF,PF,C backups :-D hmm...

check out this Kasun guy...61 overall center, very high in the important attributes for a center. He could help you slide Bosh to PF and Bargnani to SF. For a very cheap price, sign him for 6 years.

GAME RECAP
 The Toronto Raptors have won their season home opener against the Milwuakee Bucks, who started the season 0-2. Chris Bosh carries his team with 29 pts, 20 rebs, 6 ast, and 4 blocked shots. This was his first double-double of the season. Andrea Bargnani scored 24, and grabbed 12 rebounds as he recorded his 2nd double-double of the season and it's the 2nd straight time he had 20+ points, and 10+ rebounds. He is showing everybody that he can play in the NBA, just as he did in Italy a year ago and he is showing the Raptors organization that he was worth the #1 Draft Pick in this past year's NBA Draft. Jorge Garbajosa continued to show off his skills off the bench, by adding 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. Michael Redd had a game/season high with 40 points, and 8 rebounds. He was trying to keep the Bucks in the game but it wasn't enough. He has some supporting cast from Charlie Villanueva who scored 19 points, and had 17 rebounds. He was traded to the Bucks last season in exchange for TJ Ford. Ford who is not having a good start to his season offensively, just averaging 6 points per contest the first two games. The Raptors will look to continue their great performance when they face Tim Duncan and the Spurs, who are on a terrific start to the 06/07 season, 0-2.

Nice play, Chris Bosh is rockin', and I didn't even knew Bargnani can shot three's, another wise choice by Colangelo.
I'll tell you right now, if you going to play the next season too, trying trading someone like Mo Pit, Parker or both, for an high draft pick (Kevin Durant), will make your life much easier, it made mine.

yeah, he can shoot, he stroking' 'em...I didnt really think of that, trading Mo or Anth for one of the high draft picks, I will see about that after like a month or two into the season, then see the teams that are struggling and then maybe trade for their 1st Round Pick or not, but I was thinking of getting Greg Oden...just having him and Bosh for many years to come and Bargnani

GAME RECAP
 Toronto Raptors had all the confidence in the world when they went to play the San Antonio Spurs, but the first minute into the game Chris Bosh fell and landed on his foot. He left the game in the first quarter. It appeared to be that he broke his big toe and critics say that he will be out 2 weeks. TJ Ford, Bargnani and Anthony Parker tried to keep the Raptors in the game, but Duncan and Parker were just too much for the Raptors. Andrea Bargnani scored 20 points, and recorded 11 rebounds. This is his third straight time he scored 20+ and 10+. He is one of the early vote getters for the Rookie of the Year. Ford finally scored over 10 points, but it just wasn't enough to beat the red-hot Spurs, who have started the season 3-0, behind Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili. The Raptors will try and bounce back against the Cavs, but they will have to do it without their superstar, Chris Bosh.

Oh, shit.. Bosh injury is a really big loss.
You did your best, the franchise-player type teams are weak anyday without their ones.
Good luck agaisnt Cleveland.

I just checked out this dynasty for the first time and it's looking pretty good especially the pic with player of the game then box scores with a shapre inside to the game, maybe people don't like it coz there is too many Raptors dynasty's IMO, anyway i think you should make a few moves, via Trade/Free agency and probably do a collage of Pictures considering your'e playing on Computer.

I don't understand why you use NBA.com pictures when you are playing on PC. Pics with a bad graphics card beat none.

This is good; although it is hard to tell when it is updated. Change the title each time is is updated so people know. ;) Also, injuries are KILLING you.

Raptors go 9-11 for the 1st Full Month and 1/2 of the NBA Season

-The Toronto Raptors have started their season on a perfect run with the record of 6-2. Chris Bosh was still injured, but then they started losing some more key players like Anthony Parker, Rasho Nesterovic, etc. then they lost about 6 games in a row and they went under .500 When Bosh made his return, the first couple of games he averaged about 3 points per game, still was bothered by the broken toe. Sam Mitchell went to the Owner's Office: Bryan Colangelo and asked him to shake things up with the roster. He told him that we need athleticism and a scorer on the perimeter and someone to back up Chris Bosh when he is not in the game. Mr. Colangelo listened to Sam and when he left, one name come to his mind and his name was "Luol Deng". Bryan Colangelo called the Chicago Tribune and asked them if Deng was for sale. Chicago responded "Currently we are not trading Deng, maybe later on into the season. We want to see what we have first and if we're not satisfied with Deng's performance then we would put him on the Block". Colangelo hunged up and waited for about a month. The Raptors desperately need a player like Deng, so they just waited played their games and this was the outcome:

Image

^^^Raptors went 7-9 on that month and a half. Colangelo was furious with the team, including Sam Mitchell and Chris Bosh who were in desperate for another scorer. Later that night after the game in Chicago, the Raptors were traveling back to Canada, because they had an upcoming game against the Blazers. When they came home, Colangelo had a voicemail, it was from John Paxson, Chicago's President of Operations. He asked us if we were still interested in Luol Deng. Well then we said that we were, that we were just waiting for his call. We started with the negotiations and came up with a deal that sent Luol Deng, PJ Brown and Martynas Andriuskevicius to the Raptors in exchange for Jorge Garbajosa, Anthony Parker, and Joey Graham. Deng only averaged about 7 points per game and 3 rebounds per contest. He didn't have the starting position in Chicago, but he will be the starting SF for the Toronto Raptors. Both teams will benefit from this trade, but lets just hope it helps the Raptors. More on the trade:

Your thoughts on the moves for the roster and the dynasty?

Fairly average month and good move Deng is great player and Brown bring Big man Experiance now i think the trade to top it off would be get rid of Dixon, he game isn't advanced enough and i don't like him at all, Only a shooter (and not a great one) As well as Dixon put Mo-Pete in a trade as well now that you don't need him and try and get a Foye/Roy type player or even a Jump shooter so Bosh and Bargani can kick it out to them (Y)

Anyway look forward to this dynasty Progressing

@3PK-I don't know if I'm gonna get rid of Juan DIxson, he has been shooting better than 45% from downtown, maybe I trade him and Mo Pete for someone, but for now I'm good, thx

@BoomDizzle#5-hey thx and yea I'll have them for many years to come

Miles absolutely flamed you he was unstoppable with 40, great game by Bosh and Deng though, they really performed and good to win

In the game against the Heat wade won it single Handed, he was a machine almost unstoppable and he made his shots too bad luck to lose maybe next time double team him or something (Y)
