Im definetly keeping milicic and howard but i might trade turkoglu, Nelson and Dooling for a better point guard. How bout you?
Wed Sep 20, 2006 8:57 pm
Yeah im leaning the same, JJ is on my no trade list too, I like most of the players but I see Hedo as expendable, and it would be good to get a bigger Point Guard that could guard the other teams 2 guards when JJ is too small. Not sure who to go for though, maybe Joe Johnson, although I dont really see any fair trades....

yeah man if nelson is going to be 79 overall, i might have a chance getting francis or marbury but id rather get arenas. But i dont think that is possible. Or i'd rather go get another Shooting Guard or Small Forward and maybe ditch Grant hill to creat some cap space. Or just even boost my bench

Jamer Nelson is the future of the Magic. I'd rather get an old PG to fill in to mentor him.
But it's NBA Live, veteran means jack shit.
Thu Sep 21, 2006 12:58 pm
Yes. But i think he is too short for a PG like Reddick at SG but we will see when i get the game.

Looks good man, a bit more professional then your other dynasties so good luck with that.

Brian Hill Annouces Future of Club
Orlando -- Brian Hill, The Head Coach of the Orlando Magic has gone out, spoken with the public and has announced that the Future of the Club seems to be in the hands of "Dwight Howard", "J.J Redick" and "Darko Milicic".
Brian Hill seemed happy to be back in Orlando and back in the Job after a few months of Rest and Recreation. Hill plans to start the preseason training and make the players work very hard in the Training Camp.
"The team played very well in the finish of the 2005-2006 season. We came an inch away from making the Playoffs again but this year we will suceed. We are really looking forward to see Darko, Dwight and Reddick to take on leadership roles and lead this team to the Playoffs this season," said Hill in the conference.
We will await and see what changes will happen in Orlando this next season and who take the role of leadership outright.

Sat Sep 23, 2006 2:33 pm
by the way, one "D" in Redick
The way I remember Redick is one "d" is because Redick does not have a
red dick.
Worst joke ever, by the way.

Orlando | Jameer Nelson Works on his Jumpshot
Sun, 24 Sep 2006 22:58:32
Jameer has been improving his jumper
Orlando, Fla -- Jameer Nelson, who emerged last season as one of the premier point guards in the league has currently been working on his Jumpshot. He has been working night and day on his jumpshot throughout the off-season. Jameer notices the Magic's need for a consistent 20 points per game scorer in the next season and he is working very hard to get to that level.
"If the Magic are going to succeed, I need to put up great numbers like 20 points and 6 or 7 assists," he said after he walked off the court after taking about 500 shots.
The Orlando Magic are in desperate need of a 20 point player each night unless Dwight howard can bring that to the table. With a huge playoff run at the end of the season on their backs, they will try repeat that performance and try make the playoffs this year. The Orlando Magic though, still need to improve somewhat alot to make the playoffs this year. Lets see what the training camp brings and we can decide once the season starts.

20 poiint player = Darko
Jameer = solid playmaking PG
Well, thats what im hoping to see
Mon Sep 25, 2006 3:20 am
I think Hedo Turkey Glue has more of an opportunity to be that big-time scorer for the Magic than Nelson. Nelson is a fine scorer, but I don't think he's capable of putting up 20 points per game just yet. I'd still be happy if he did, though.
Mon Sep 25, 2006 6:18 pm
Haha Turkey Glue. He is a decent player and may average 10-15 points off the bench but a 20 point player nop. Darko maybe 10 and 10
Tue Sep 26, 2006 7:57 am
I don't think its that far of a stretch for Hedo to average around 16-18 ppg to be honest. If you watched some Magic games last year he could really put the ball in the basket near the end of the season. He averaged close to 20 ppg in April I think.
He was "stroking it", so to speak.

Orlando | Dwight Howard speaks with Brian Schmitz
Sun, 1 Oct 2006 18:32:54
Dwight Howard
Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinal caught up with new Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard and put up a few questions for Dwight to answer.
Brian: Firstly Dwight, in the next season will you be as effective on the Offensive End as you are on the defensive?
Dwight: I have been working very hard the past few months on a more consistent jumpshot and i think that during the next few years i could put up a decent score each night. But my defensive end has always been the main part of my game.
Brian: Do you see the Magic making the Playoffs and who do you see being the main catalyst?
Dwight: I have very high hopes for our team this year and i really think that we are a title contender. Our main catalyst would be J.J Redick, our new player, Jameer Nelson and also Grant Hill who would need to put up some great numbers.
Brian: Dwight, Where do you see your future at?
Dwight: My future at the moment is not clear to me yet but i notice that i have great talent. Talent means nothing unless i put hard work in and keep trying. You never know, i could have a career ending injury or a injury that stuffs up my career like Grant over here. I'll just work hard at the moment and think about the next season.
Brian: Do you see yourself as the leader of the team and the man that has to take the load of the other players?
Dwight: Yes Brian, i see myself as the leader of the team and even though this is going to be my third season. I see that i can lead the Magic to great heights.
Brian: Well Dwight, when you were picked with the first pick of the 2004 draft, did it put high expectations on you?
Dwight: It did put alot of expectation on me from the media and also the supporters. I had an excellent first season being one of the top offensive rebounders and playing 82 games in my first 2 season made me get use to the NBA.
Brian: Well Dwight, Thanks for your time.
