Jing Does Euroleague
Well everyone, I am pretty sure you all have realized that my NBA dynasty featuring the Los Angeles Clippers has been discontinued due to problems with crashing. It seemed that there was no way I could play a game without the game crashing, and I am pretty sure you don't want to see a season full of simulations.
I felt like playing with the NBA was getting a bit boring becasue I knew all of the players, seen all the jerseys. I've been wanting to try a alternative mod dynasty for some time now. I've experimented with the Euroleague, National Teams, and NBL Mod. I have to say I enjoy the Euroleague and NBL mods the most...
I have decided to use the Euroleague Mod. I initially started with the NBL Mod and already created the players, but I have three reasons to switch to Euroleague.
- The players all actually have real cyberfaces, whereas the NBL Mod only gives cyberfaces to several important players. No dirt on the NBL patchers, your mod is totally astounding, but your lack of cyberface patchers really hurt you.
- The number of teams is 24 instead of 12, therefore playoffs and season format wont be as strange.
- All you Ausses demand to be on your own individual teams. Moving to the Euroleague, you can't bitch about what team you want to be on. This is going to be a NLSC team.
This third team brings me to my third point. I have room on the team for 5 more NLSC players. The players that have locked up spots on the team are the following:
- Jing
- Jon Smith (JaoSming)
- Ben Branch (Dragon)
- Andrew Watson (The X)
- Sam Anurak (Sam)
- Mark Moore (Mark)
- Alex Buckley (cwebbiverson)
My requirment for the next five players are that you must have at least 500 posts. You must have done something for the community, and you must at least be somewhat well respected within the community.
Thanks. You know where to reach me, don't request to be in this dynasty by posting in the thread. IM or PM me.
P.S. You must have a cyberface, or get one made within a day if you are accept. I will not include anyone that does not have a cyberface, and that is final.

Armani Jeans Milano coach Sasha Djordjevic (above) held a press conference in Milan earlier this morning. The rumors around were that the team had been sold to an anonymous buyer, thought to be of Asian descent. The following is his address to the press:
“To address the rumors, I have to say that it is true to a certain extend. Our current owner, Mr. Giorgio Armani has felt that being the solo owner of this club is too much, and has felt this club has not lived up to his expectations. He has agreed to sell 15% of the club to our new partial owner, whom wishes to remain anonymous. We will continue to wear the Armani Jeans brand, seeing as Mr. Armani is still the majority owner of this club.
The only catch in this deal is that the anonymous owner has requested to bring his own group of 12 players to replace the current players. I admit I have developed a strong bond and people will feel that it is cruel, but through talks with Euroleague, we have arranged for the proper transfer of all our current players. To which teams they will go, we will not release until a further date.
These 12 new players root from all over the world. Again we will not release their names, but I can tell you that we have several Americans, Asians, Australians, as well as several other nationalities. These players performed in front of Mr. Giorgio, myself, as well as the rest of the team staff. I would agree to an extend that these players will add a new face to Euroleague, and perhaps even make this team better. These players are not all rookies or youngsters, though several are. We have several Australian players with experience in their own country, and the Americans also have plentiful experience.
Further information on where our current players will be headed to, as well as more information on the incoming players, will be released in the coming days. I would ask you not to pursue more information on these players, under a huge transfer like this they are under a lot of stress and would be best if they are let to themselves to handle it.
Now, thank you for your time ladies and gentlemen. Since it is still early I will allow for several questions.”
Reporter 1: How much money will be gained by transferring the current players and signing the new ones?
Djordjevic: Currently all of our younger new players will be signed at the minimum contact. Several of the players, whom I will say, that are in their late twenties, will be signed for a higher price due to having more experience and thus developed skills. I would say that we would probably be making a gain due to this. But this early in the stage we cannot be sure of it yet.
Reporter 2: What expressions have the current players shown to this?
Djordjevic: Well. I cannot really speak for them, but when I was called on this deal, I was fairly shocked. I couldn’t believe Mr. Armani would be willing to sell part of the club, and then agree with the new owner to transfer all the other players and bring in totally new players. I personally don’t even know who the new owner is, but if the players were looking at this from an unbiased perspective, then they might say this new group of players would probably match up fairly nicely with the current team. The current team players might be upset that they are leaving the team, but this may lead them to have other opportunities with fresh clubs.
“Now, I think that is all that needs to be said for today. Keep your eye out for more information. We will be releasing the teams that our current players are being transferred to, as well as information on our upcoming team. Thank you for your time.”
With this, Djordjevic left the press in suspense. Where are the current players going, who is this new minority owner, and most importantly who exactly are these new players and are they really good enough to warrant the disbanding of an entire squad?

All But One Player Transfered from Club
Milan – Sasha Djordjevic , coach of Armani Jeans Milano basketball club, announced to the press today the transfers of their current players.
“11 of our current 12 players have been arranged for transfers. The sole player remaining will be our starting shooting guard, Preston Shumpert. Our new owner has requested he be kept because he demonstrated strong leadership qualities, and will be able to help the progress of some of the younger players that are coming in. We can say that the youngest age on the incoming roster is 14 years old. These youngsters, however, performed beyond their age, and will be on our senior team; however they will be regulated to the end of the roster for further development.
Now, on to business… our players are transferred, and in return we received money. I will not disclose the amount we received for each player as it is personally business only within the club.
Joseph Blair, starting center for us last season, who averaged 8.0 points and 7.2 rebounds, will be transferred to Cibona VIP in Zagreb, Croatia.
Giacomo Glanda, whom started for us at the power forward position, will be transferred to CSKA Moscow in Russia. He averaged 10.2 points and 5 rebounds in 14 games.
Dante Calabria, our staring small forward, will be headed to GHP Bambery, in southern Germany. He averaged 12 points and 5.2 rebounds. GHP is Germany’s finest club, so Mr. Calabria should be able to fit right in.
Massimo Bulleri, starting point guard who averaged a team high 13.2 points and 3.0 assists per game will be playing for Partizan PMB, in Belgrade, Serbia.
Tyrone Grant, our backup forward from the States, shall be playing for AEK Athens. Mr. Grant averaged a solid 7.4 points and 7.2 rebounds off the bench.
Diego Fajardo, the only Spaniard on the team, will be going to Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez. He averaged 7.9 points a game.
Alejandro Montecchia, the sole Argentine, will be playing for Real Madrid in Madrid. He played in 4 matches and averaged 1.2 points a game.
Claudio Coldebella, one of he veterans on the team, is going to BC Lietuvos Rytas in Lithuania. He played in 10 matches for 4.2 points a game.
Sven Schultze, our German player, will be going to Euroleague powerhouse BC Zalgiris in Lithuania. He averaged 3.3 points in 13 games of play.
Mario Gigena, who played in 12 games, will play for Union Olimpija, in Slovenia. He averaged 3 points a game.
Daniele Cavaliero, one of our point guards, will be going to Prokom Trefl, based in Poland. Mr. Cavaliero played in 5 games for a total of 3 points on the season.
That concludes all the players that have been transferred to different clubs with the exception of Mr. Preston Shumpert. I will repeat that we have received money from the individual clubs in return for the players; however we will not release that information. The new players will be arriving shortly. As for my previous number of 12 players coming over, that may be scheduled to change.
Another press conference will be held in the upcoming days to introduce to Milan the future of Armani Jeans basketball. Thank you all for coming.”

Very good decision keeping Preston Shumpert

. He is a legit starter and will definantly make your team better. Also he is my favorite player in Syracuse history and in Europe. I can't wait to see your recaps and your roster. I like the idea of having a 14 year old on the team. Good luck. Oh yeah and keep Preston Shumpert starting.
