HOU Box Scores | ATL Box Scores

[HOUTSON, November 16 (Ticker) It was the Rockets first apperance live on the basketball court. The Hawks in their hometown trying to exceed a win percentage over fifty.

The fans at Phillips Arena roared as the Hawks were on a 9-0 run at the beginning of the first quarter. Thanks to the interceptions of J.R. Smith, the hustle drive to the paint by Garnett, and the amazing jumpers by Mason, and the anser back by the Hawks point guard Ford with the outrageous, most difficult layup over the entire Rockets lineup. "We were on a roll at the first we would have won if it stayed like that during the entire game" Hawks power forward Kevin Garnett said.

As Garnett sat at the sidelines the Rockets lineup seeked this as an advantage. With the beautiful assists by Jason Williams it was easy for Stoudemire to make his power moves. Josh Smtih and Jason Richardson seemed to have been having a slam dunk contest between the two. The Rockets keep a 20 point lead by the end of the 3rd quarter, but once the starting five got substituted Hawks took advantage and at the end making a comeback making it into a 3 point game. "We were down at the beginning so I felt it was my responsibility to gain hold of the game and contain the win" Amare Stoudemire said.

**Player Of The Night** Amare Stoudemire : 35 Points

[HOUSTON, November 19 (ticker) The first game for Crish Bosh and Sam Cassell wearing a Houston Rockets jersey,
who were required a day before the Rockets versus Memphis matchup.

The 1st quarter began with a layup but became a nightmare thanks to Ginobili who made it out his way to contest shots,
and maybe get a few blocks. Jackson was shooting fifty percent on the feild and became one of Houstons threats if he
was left wide open. But Ginobili was suberb on defense and on offense, he contained 40 points and 3 blocks and 3 steals,
but it seemed he couldn't get the job done alone and failed to get the big W.

Stoudemire always showing his a game as usuall came up with 36 points and he only missed 4 shots. Josh Smith didnt
get alot of play time but when he returned at the 4th he scored 20 of the 34 points that quarter. Sam Cassell the playmaker
of the day/month/year! with 21 assist! talk about getting to know your teamates. J-Rich plain old nice, spectagular,
pheonominal. And finally Chris Bosh felt at the most comfort around his new teamates making his highest 26 points!!!

**Player of the game** Sam Cassell : 11 pts : 21 ast
