GM's two cents:

"I really like the combination of Jefferson and Carter in the forward and guard positions, yet Kidd i feel is not suited in NJ. Dont get me wrong, Kidd has been an outstanding point guard his whole career but i feel New Jersey would benefit more with a dominant big man.

First game against the Milwaukee Bucks in Jersey (Nov 2nd)

Nets Trade Big!

The New Jersey Nets have traded away their captain and head playmaker Jason Kidd for the Indiana Pacers Power Foward Jermaine O'Neal. Ever since the Nets traded Kenyon Martin to Denver there has been a big gaping hole in the big man position. O'Neal has an outstanding offensive and defensive game that will surely fill it in.

**I really dont like playmakers as a superstar ability, thats mainly why i wanted to dispose of kidd**

please post your thoughts :P

Nets Acquire New Point Guard

After the JKidd Jermaine O'Neal trade New Jersey lacked a good point guard who could run the ball at pace and find the open man, so they traded their rookie Antoine Wright for Jameer Nelson of the Orlando Magic

Looks pretty good. You could probably put O'Neal at the center position if you really needed to. ;)

New Jersey cruised over Milwaukee at home 127-105. New Nets, Jermaine O'Neal and Jameer Nelson both had great games. O'Neal picking up Player Of The Game honours with 27 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. Nelson notched 11 points and 9 assists. New Jersey Nets V Toronto Raptors

Nets: 104
Raptors: 100

POG: Richard Jefferson

An outstanding final quarter by the Toronto Raptors could not pull back the New Jersey who took the away win. The ex-raptor Vince Carter returned to Toronto and lead the way in scoring for the Nets with 25 points. Jermaine O'Neal bagged another double double with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Chirs Bosh led the way for Toronto with 26 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks, 4 of which were in the final quarter. The lead changed frequently in the dying stages until Richard Jefferson pulled off a player of the game performance he made all of his 5 steals in the last 3 minutes and converted them into baskets at the other end. Jefferson finished with 24 points and 8 rebounds.

Chicago Bulls V New Jersey Nets

Bulls: 112
Nets: 124

POG: Kirk Hinrich

The New Jersey Nets sailed for victory at home against the Chicago Bulls by 12 points. Player Of The Game Kirk Hinrich scored an insane 51 points along with 10 assists and 7 rebounds. But the Bulls defence could not stop the Nets onslaught. Richard Jefferson, Jermaine O'Neal, Vince Carter and Jeff McInnis(off the bench) all managed 23 points. Krstic backed them up with a solid 18 points and 9 rebounds. The Kidd, O'Neal trade is starting to look very promising in securing a high eastern conference rank.

can anyone suggest any good trades for Krstic (too slow, crap defender, always misses open jumpshots), and the rest of the bench except Jeff McInnis(his last performance won me over :)). Looking for a strong bench and a good centre/powerfoward.
