For the 2004-2005 season, Bud Light is unveiling the newest competition between the three Texas-based NBA teams called The Bud Light Texas Showdown.
Your San Antonio Spurs, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Houston Rockets each play a total of two games against Texas-based teams during the regular season and the team with the best record over these two games will be deemed champion. The Bud Light Texas Showdown champion will receive $50,000 to donate to charity and will be presented with a Tiffany & Co. trophy that they will get to keep on display for the entire year.
